I have experience with Dell PowerProtect Backup Services. We chose Dell PowerProtect Backup Services because we only use it in the controller environment. We decided to put it in this project because we have support for the PowerProtect Suite, and in the production environment, we have a NetWorker solution for backup. The PowerProtect Suite includes Dell PowerProtect Backup Services, which we installed in the developer and testing environments for this reason. I do not know the pricing. My overall review rating for this product is nine out of ten.
The benefits of using Dell PowerProtect Backup Services are basically the backups being saved to external locations. That is the main benefit. It's our DR solution. If something happens, we have our data saved in a different location, in a different country, and we can instantly just restore a server in a different location. I've been using Dell products for over 20 years, and I've never had an issue with Dell. I've always recommended them to people, whether it be a home user or a business user. I rate Dell PowerProtect Backup Services a ten out of ten.
