I am a reseller. One of our customers suffered an attack a few months ago, and they discovered that they have some data available on the deep and dark web. The biggest driver for using ThreatMon was takedown services. SIEM integration into their incident response was also essential. They wanted visibility.
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
ThreatMon has been very active in identifying and scouring the deep and dark web for our credentials and secrets. In about six weeks, we achieved what took us four or five months with CrowdStrike.
What is most valuable?
Machine learning or AI discovery, which discovers our resources on the deep and dark web, has been very useful. We have been collaborating to enhance some of the features we want for reporting.
What needs improvement?
We are looking at a better pricing model to onboard as many customers as possible. Additionally, we are trying to figure out certification training. Training and pricing could be improved.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using it for about four months. I have known ThreatMon for about two years.
How are customer service and support?
Customer support is always available. Their technical account management was very tied to us to ensure we reached a deliverable stage quickly. I am satisfied with their support.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We looked at CrowdStrike and ThreatMon. The customer opted for ThreatMon. We are also looking at Empowering as we have never sold CrowdStrike ASM.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
ThreatMon is very expensive. We are looking at a better pricing model to onboard as many customers as possible.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We evaluated CrowdStrike and looked at Empowering.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend ThreatMon. From a CTI and ASM perspective, it is our leading brand.
I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
