The solution offers good stability.

So far, the solution's scalability seems sufficient. 

It's a very easy-to-use product.

We have used the same version for two years, however, now there's a new version, which solves a lot of problems. The solution we use that's from two years ago, has the ARIS Connect Server, the web application, and the ARIS client application. Some things you have to do in the clients, and you can't do them in the web environment. In the new version, though it's not installed by us, it's changed. You can do this. You can do almost everything in the web client. The difficulty that you have with switching between the two environments is solved in the new version. However, I haven't tested it yet. That said, that was one of the issues we had. It's a bit annoying that you have to use two environments in the older version.

I've used the solution for about ten years. 

The solution is very stable. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable. The performance is good.

It's my understanding that the solution is scalable. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so.

I started with an older version. Now, we have been using ARIS 10, the ARIS Connect Server, for about two years.

I'd recommend the solution. It's easy. The advantage of ARIS is it's also a program which you can do a lot and you have the ability to make filters so that you only need to see the things in ARIS you need. Even for non-experienced users, you can give them just the instruments they need to design models. It's an advantage.

I'd rate the solution at an eight out of ten.

I recognize the product has areas for potential improvement similar to every tool.

I have been familiar with ARIS Process Governance for approximately 20 years.

The technical support and resources are generally adequate. They offer a variety of documentation, user manuals, and community forums for users to seek assistance and share experiences.

I would recommend ARIS Process Governance to any company looking to implement enterprise architecture, BPM, or Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), as I thoroughly understand its functionalities.

Its capabilities allow it to evaluate the maturity of business capabilities, identify gaps in processes, and facilitate projects aimed at enhancing business processes.
I advise new users to invest time in understanding the core concepts and methodologies. Familiarizing oneself with the different functionalities and utilizing the training resources is crucial. Starting with small projects can help build confidence before tackling more complex use cases.

Overall, I rate it a nine out of ten.

Using this solution we can design our own processor governance, assign some specific technical services, and also run tests of the process to make sure it operates as we need it to.

The solution uses a coding language for process design that is specific only to this product. We would like to see this changed to something more universal.

We would advise organizations who are looking for flexibility in how they use this solution to look at the cloud-based subscription package, which is cheaper and doesn't require space on-premises.

Private Cloud

We use this solution for business process modeling and architecture modeling. We are customers of ARIS Process Governance and I'm a digital sales specialist.

This product is useful when you're modeling business processes; you can use all the features that your catalog has inside the modeling and export it to a BPM augmentation engine. It's easy to use and begin the connotation of any process you want.

There is a lot of complexity around licensing and that should be improved. The solution could include more integration with process mining and in cloud timing. ARIS has a process mining solution but it only runs from prime, not on cloud. That should be solved. 

I've been using this solution for three years. 

The solution is stable. 

The enterprise version is very scalable. 

There could be faster response times when it comes to support. 

Because it's on the cloud, the initial setup is very straightforward. They send you the link and you can start using the product.

I think the licensing price is reasonable. It's less expensive than MEGA, for example.

You have to be sure of the methodology to implement this kind of solution. You will need your catalogs ready as well as your IT systems, juicers, and for example, your risk management, as a catalog. With this, you can deploy very quickly. 

Whether it's useful to implement this solution depends on the kind of industry you are in and the kind of business you're trying to model, because the solution offers different kinds of products depending on your needs. If you want to integrate your BPA with, for example, SAP, or you want other features like TPM for process mining, you're going to need the enterprise version, but if you're starting with business modeling, you can use their starter version which is very cheap.

I rate the solution eight out of 10.
