Bitdefender Total Security is used for my own personal use.

Bitdefender Total Security is a very good product that does what it needs to do. It stops the endpoints from being exploited. The web protection stops you from visiting gambling sites that are not genuine. Bitdefender Total Security mainly sits in the background and performs its function. I generally have it switched on to do regular scans and vulnerability scans.

It is good in terms of having Bitdefender Total Security turned on to optimize your system, such as getting the disk for issues and that sort of thing.

The only thing that it does not include, which I would like to see in it, is the VPN. If VPN was included in Bitdefender Total Security, that would be a really valuable feature to add to the product. The VPN is handy, but to pay quite a lot more on top is costly. VPN is becoming a lot more commonplace and needed, and some competitors are now including it as part of their offering.

I have no intention of moving away from Bitdefender Total Security, but I just think that could be quite a valuable addition to have as part of the product.

I have been using Bitdefender Total Security for eight to ten years.

In terms of what Bitdefender Total Security does, I would give it a nine for stability.

The initial setup for Bitdefender Total Security was very easy.

The main competitors would probably be something like Trend Micro or Sophos, which are probably the main competitors for Bitdefender Total Security. Trend has a very good offering.

I have never had to use multilayer ransomware protection in Bitdefender Total Security, but I know it is part of the portfolio. I do not use the Password Manager in Bitdefender Total Security. I do not have children, so I do not need to use the parental control features in Bitdefender Total Security.

I am a distributor for Bitdefender Total Security in the region. I highly recommend Bitdefender Total Security for other users. In independent tests, it has always performed the highest out of any of the endpoint solutions. If you are looking at something that is stopping vulnerabilities from getting through or vulnerabilities from being exploited, from a home user perspective, Bitdefender Total Security is a must-have.

As a small to medium-sized business, my primary use case for Bitdefender Total Security revolves around safeguarding critical data within our factory operations.

Using Bitdefender Total Security has brought our organization many benefits. It effectively safeguards against password attacks like Cisco passwords, crucial for our defense operations. The free VPN service not only enhances security but also saves costs, allowing usage of up to 150 MB. The ransomware remediation feature addresses concerns about data loss, providing a safety net in case of ransomware attacks.

I find Bitdefender's integration with Azure features to be highly valuable. It enhances our cybersecurity measures, especially beneficial for entrepreneurs. The recommendation feature is a standout, efficiently managing data packets and optimizing bandwidth usage to a maximum of 15 MB. Additionally, another valuable feature that significantly contributes to our security posture is the VPN functionality, which adds an extra layer of protection by encrypting our online communications and masking our IP addresses.

In terms of improvements, I would like to see some flexibility in the ransomware limitations. Our company has made efforts, but some of our customers, especially those in government, have higher bandwidth requirements, around 20-25 MB. It would be beneficial to have options that accommodate these needs. Additionally, there is room for enhancement in the password-safe feature. While it is good, it could be more versatile.

I have been working with Bitdefender Total Security for two years.

Bitdefender is stable, but occasionally it might require a bit of patience from users.

It is scalable for SMBs, but it may not be as suitable for larger companies. On servers, it is efficient for managing a smaller number of PCs, typically around five to ten, with quick deployment taking about ten minutes. We have around 1,000-2,000 users.

The response time from Bitdefender's support team is generally good.

Comparing Bitdefender Total Security with Kaspersky and Trend Micro, Bitdefender stands out for its ease of use and efficient backup and data restoration capabilities. It is user-friendly, especially when dealing with group backups. However, Kaspersky Endpoint Security Plus and Trend Micro have a better reputation for website security. Kaspersky, in particular, has a solid reputation. Each has its strengths, with Bitdefender excelling in user-friendly backup features, while Kaspersky and Trend Micro are recognized for their strong website security.

Setting up Bitdefender is easy if there is no existing endpoint protection. If there is, it gets a bit more complicated. You will need to remove any current security software on your computer or endpoint before installing Bitdefender to avoid conflicts. Deployment involved registering online and, during the process, we encountered minimal issues. Any problems were quickly resolved by referring to the well-defined website resources. The deployment team consisted of just one or two people, given that we are an SMB company. The entire deployment took approximately two hours. Maintaining Bitdefender is easy, especially with the cloud-based version. However, in an on-premise setup using the call function, it might involve moving from PC to PC for upkeep.

Our customers have seen a return on investment with Bitdefender.

Bitdefender's pricing seems somewhat complex, especially for healthcare solutions. Determining whether it is reasonable or too high depends on specific organizational needs and budget considerations.

Overall, I would rate Bitdefender Total Security as an eight out of ten.

I use it to protect my personal laptop.

Bitdefender Total Security enhances my daily operation. It protects me from online threats. It's quite good; it doesn't slow down my system, works smoothly, and it covers most of the threats.

I haven't used any of the extra add-on modules, even though they have VPN and things like that. But, I really like the warnings I get when I visit low-rated websites. This protects me because the ratings let me know those sites aren't safe, which was something I was missing in my previous antivirus solutions.

I found Bitdefender Total Security easy to use. The interface is straightforward, and it runs silently in the background.  

Bitdefender has features like a password manager, parental controls, and a VPN – even though I don't use them. It seems like Bitdefender Total Security has everything.

Bitdefender could make it slightly less process-intensive. It could be lighter. 

Bitdefender can sometimes use up a bit too much processing power.

When the engine runs, it can sometimes take up too many resources. Optimizing this would definitely make multitasking on my computer smoother.

I currently use this solution on my laptop. I use the latest version: Bitdefender Total Security, build 27.0.30.140.

It is a very stable product. I would rate the stability a ten out of ten. 

I haven't experienced any downtime or outages

For me,  it's pretty scalable. I would rate the scalability a nine out of ten. 

It's always on. Since I'm always on the Internet, my antivirus is protecting my PC 24/7.

All my devices are already protected with antivirus software, even my mobile. If I add any more personal devices, I'll definitely consider Bitdefender.

I've never had a reason to contact technical support so far. Everything has been running smoothly. I'm very comfortable using it.

I was using antivirus software before, but I think Bitdefender covers more threats compared to previous ones. I haven't experienced any security issues with my laptop.

For my company, we use Office 365, which comes with the Microsoft Defender product for email security. I haven't relied on Bitdefender for that.

So, the setup was overall straightforward. It took less than five minutes. 

The process is simple. I purchased it online and received a key. I downloaded the .exe file from the Bitdefender website, installed it, and entered the provided key. 

I have a cloud portal where I can see my active devices – I have three licenses, one for each of my laptops and my wife's laptop. The portal also shows prevented threats.

It updates automatically and runs silently in the background.

The pricing is quite reasonable. I don't find it expensive.

I would rate the pricing a three out of ten, with ten being expensive. I purchased a three-year license for three devices at a fixed price.

I've been using it for the last couple of years, and it's pretty good compared to the previous antivirus solutions I've used.

If someone asks me about Bitdefender, I'd say it's good to have. It's lightweight and takes care of the online threats I encounter.

I would find it more useful to receive notifications more often than just reporting on what's happening. I’d like updates on recent changes, new threats, or events in the cybersecurity landscape.

It is working on thousands of devices. It's quite scalable. Since it is installed on almost every device that requires security, including servers, laptops, and even some phones, it’s on nearly all the devices being monitored and secured.

If you have some technical skills, deployment is easy. it took us around two days to deploy it for all of our almost four hundred employees and collaborators.

One of my colleagues is enough for the maintenance, and he has a backup, so it's pretty simple.

It alerts me about potential threats associated with my email accounts, such as hacking attempts on my Gmail and Hotmail accounts. This proactive monitoring for identity-related threats creates a sense of loyalty and trust in the software.

The optimization feature, which is a paid addition for three computers on top of the ten I already have, significantly enhances the performance of my laptops. It speeds up processes, efficiently cleans up caches that would typically take a considerable amount of time to locate, and overall, it noticeably quickens the pace of my computer usage.

There is room for improvement, particularly in the area of updates. I've noticed that updates sometimes aren't as prompt as they could be. It would be beneficial if Bitdefender could enhance the speed of its updates for a more immediate response to emerging threats. It could benefit from the addition of an extra feature, such as a VPN or a secure login option.

I have been working with it for three years.

The stability has been outstanding. I haven't encountered any issues in the last two years, and this positive experience is why I decided to renew for another three years. I would rate it ten out of ten.

I don't scale it up.

I haven't needed technical support as the software is quite self-explanatory. The available materials on the web space are comprehensive, and the interface is user-friendly. It's straightforward to use, deploy, and install, making the entire process efficient.

I previously used Norton. Bitdefender has shown faster scanning speeds and improved overall performance on my desktops and laptops compared to Norton. The key factors for me are speed and reliability. Bitdefender significantly enhances computer speeds, and its reliability ensures that my computer is not slowed down by excessive server requests.

The initial setup was straightforward. I would rate it ten out of ten.

Setting up Bitdefender, from downloading and onboarding to installation and adjusting parameters to meet specific preferences, has been a streamlined and efficient process for me. This includes configuring security settings on laptops used by teenagers in my household. It can be completed within half an hour, taking into account all necessary configurations.

The return on investment has been significant. Over the past three years, there have been no security incidents or breaches, attributing this success to the combination of user behavior and the effectiveness of the software. I estimate the ROI to be around eighty percent.

It falls in the middle range in terms of pricing—it's neither very cheap nor overly expensive. Considering the features it offers in relation to the price, I would say it provides value for money. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate it at six as it is affordable without additional costs.

I conducted thorough evaluations of different security solutions, such as Kaspersky, testing them on at least two laptops. Based on your experience, Bitdefender stood out as the fastest and most efficient option.

I highly recommend choosing it as it stands out as the best solution available. It offers affordability, excellent features, and a user-friendly interface. Its fast deployment, ease of use, and automatic monitoring at the backend make it particularly convenient, especially if you have multiple computers to manage. The automatic updates further simplify the process. The only potential drawback might be for those specifically seeking a dedicated VPN product, as Bitdefender may not provide this feature. Overall, I would rate it ten out of ten.

It's quite simple but quite powerful. We use Antivirus the most.

Sometimes, it blocks some networks that we are using.

We are already using AirPass and then Kaspersky. All pros compared to Avast, but Kaspersky is better because it supports the Linux operating system. We still be using Kaspersky for Linux servers.

When it comes to areas for enhancement, I would suggest focusing on advanced threat detection to address evolving malware.

The process ensured an internet connection, downloaded the necessary files, and prompted the creation of an account. The entire setup took approximately 15 to 20 minutes, depending on internet speed. 

Maintaining security with Bitdefender Total Security is straightforward. After installation, the key task is to regularly update the antivirus engine to detect the latest threats. I usually update it on my desktop every few days, but even if I miss updates for a couple of weeks, it doesn't pose a significant issue.

I find Bitdefender to be reasonably priced compared to other options like Kaspersky. While there may be cheaper alternatives, Bitdefender's value and performance make it worthwhile. It doesn't slow down my system or cause any performance issues, making it a sensible choice for its price.

My advice to new users is to prioritize using legitimate and licensed software. While it might be tempting to opt for free versions, the benefits and security provided by genuine and licensed products, like Bitdefender, far outweigh any initial cost. Investing in official and authentic software ensures a more reliable and secure experience. Overall, I would rate Bitdefender Total Security as a nine out of ten.
