One of the most valuable features of Carbonite Safe Backup is its ability to support versioning, which allows me to restore previous versions if I accidentally mess up the data. It works silently in the background, and when needed, it's readily available. The seamless operation, 'set it and forget it,' ensures ease of use without causing system issues or interactions. Additionally, the continuous backup mode functions flawlessly.
What needs improvement?
In the past, I faced a problem where Carbonite would interfere with system restore operations on a Windows 10 machine. This issue was resolved with Windows 11. That said, initially, Carbonite and Windows did not agree on whose problem it was.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution works reliably and doesn't cause unexpected problems within the system.
How are customer service and support?
My experience with Carbonite's customer service and support was excellent. I worked with their tech support to resolve problems.

The initial setup was very easy. The only adjustment required was to override default settings to include the backup of videos important for my work.

I've never performed an ROI calculation. However, if the tool fulfills its function at a fair price, I'm satisfied.

My experience with pricing is positive. The plan is fairly priced, and since Carbonite meets my needs, I have no reason to change.

I haven't used Acronis for cloud backup in five or six years, so I am not sure about its current pricing.
What other advice do I have?
I would recommend Carbonite to others with simple requirements. It does exactly what I need. I rate Carbonite Safe Backup a ten out of ten for its functionality within my simple business setup.
