Our primary use case is to provide cloud-based security solutions for customers using public cloud platforms. We distribute Hillstone CloudEdge and work with its various solutions to ensure security for cloud environments.
What is our primary use case?
What is most valuable?
Hillstone CloudEdge is compatible with all the mainstream public cloud providers, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Alibaba Cloud. This solution has a unified OS system for security products, ensuring that the virtual firewall has similar features to the on-premise solutions. Important features include a VPN, VTech VPN, SSL VPN, QoS, antivirus, threat protection, and sandbox capabilities.
What needs improvement?
There is room for improvement in AI features, particularly for zero-day attacks and providing maintenance guidance. More AI features would be beneficial.
For how long have I used the solution?
We have used the solution for about two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
The solution is stable.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
CloudEdge offers excellent scalability with different models that are tailored to performance needs. Customers can select models based on expected traffic growth over the next two to three years.
How are customer service and support?
The support is quite good, with quick response times and effective partner support. I would rate customer service highly.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have worked with Fortinet previously. For premises solutions, Hillstone provides good application-level performance, while Fortinet offers high throughput. However, enabling antivirus features on Fortinet can significantly reduce performance.
What about the implementation team?
Customers often need support for implementation, requiring assistance either from our team or the Hillstone team.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The cost of Hillstone CloudEdge is affordable for customers, and it protects their systems and networks. Compared to competitors, Hillstone's pricing is favorable.
What other advice do I have?
I'd rate the solution nine out of ten.
