We are using SolarWinds for NPM and NCM, and we use IP address management for IP address monitoring. It helps us track which IP address is live and which is not. It also provides DHCP reservation and allows us to declare IP addresses for our integration. We have been using it for IP address reservation and IP address tracking.

IPAM is used for IP address reservation and tracking, helping us easily identify live IP addresses. It lets us reserve IPs using DSTP and automatically displays currently used IPs. This feature improves our network management efficiency.

The licensing cost is high compared to open source tools. The state monitoring tools could be improved with AI integration to track IP usage history. There is no local support; we must contact their customer portal, which takes time.

We have been using it for five years.

The initial setup is straightforward and can be completed in a couple of hours.

The licensing cost is high compared to other open-source tools. Being a corporate client, we require corporate licensing, which adds to the cost.

Overall, I recommend SolarWinds because it's helpful. If they distributed regional or local support through an SI service integrator, it would enhance their business. 

I rate the overall solution seven out of ten.

The most valuable feature is the availability of end devices. 

The solution does not include enough features and has some performance issues. 

We would like traffic analysis to drill down to network errors and the application itself to determine if issues are coming from service of the application.

We are currently evaluating other options such as NPM and Datadog because we are interested in a more robust and comprehensive tool. We are going to demo Datadog in the near future. 

We would like a hybrid solution that includes both NMP and APM. 

Some companies have subscribed to the solution for private cloud, but we have interest in a public cloud option like Azure and Amazon. 

When choosing a solution, it is important to strike a balance between needs and budget. 

It is possible to find similar solutions that are competitively priced. 

I rate the solution a six out of ten.
