My primary use case involves deploying multiple applications, such as web applications, database applications, and reporting platforms on EC2 instances. I use EC2 for creating and managing servers, integrating with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization, and automating tasks through Terraform scripts. My customers typically require different configurations, like Linux servers or specific database endpoints.

One of the most valuable features of EC2 is its accessibility; I can easily access it through various tools like GIT and use it on mobile devices. EC2 allows me to create servers with specific configurations, and its scalability supports different application workloads. It also provides features like auto-healing, load balancing, and integration with Docker for creating containers managed by Kubernetes.

An area needing improvement is the time limitations when accessing EC2 instances. When accessing the server, sometimes PeerSpot can fail, making it difficult to access multiple servers simultaneously. Increasing the time window for log checks and application access would be beneficial.

I have been working with Amazon EC2 for four and a half years.

EC2 exhibits high stability. I have not experienced any crashes with the servers or containers. The solution runs smoothly without any noted stability issues.

The scalability of EC2 is highly commendable, especially with its horizontal scaling features. Autoscaling efficiently handles increases in application traffic by creating additional instances as needed.

I have not interacted with EC2's technical support extensively, except for billing inquiries earlier in my career. Therefore, I can't provide a detailed assessment of their customer service.

Typically, the implementation of EC2 requires a small team. In DevOps settings, the pipeline requires monitoring with around two people, while establishing new pipelines involves three to four members, depending on the traffic and complexity of the projects.

The pricing of EC2 can vary depending on workloads. It can be expensive for high workloads but more cost-effective for smaller applications. AWS provides various services at competitive pricing, making AWS a favorable choice for startups and smaller projects.

I have worked with Google Cloud Platform as an alternative solution in the past.

Amazon EC2 is a robust and versatile solution ideal for deploying various applications. It provides excellent services compared to competitors. Despite being costly for high workloads, it offers unmatched features and flexibility. 

My overall rating for Amazon EC2 is ten out of ten.

One common application is as a test environment for various types of software. It serves as a cloud-based platform where team members can test different software pieces remotely regardless of location, eliminating the need for on-premise servers. 

The tool's performance, reliability, security and flexibility are good. We can use it remotely. The autoscaling functionality of EC2 is quite good. I appreciate the DevOps suite for tracking development tasks. This functionality is important for pure software development.

The value and benefits of using Amazon EC2 include the ability to quickly set up, scalability, reliability, and security. Being able to scale resources up or down as needed is also important.

However, we've found it to be a good cloud development environment with strong security measures. Security is crucial, especially with the increasing use of various devices to access systems.

In terms of cost, Amazon could reduce the pricing. The process of detaching EC2 instances to avoid billing could be less complex. For connecting environments, encryption and other features need to be managed, which could be simplified.

I have been using the solution for four to five years.

There are various factors that can cause breakdowns, but Amazon provides disaster recovery features managed by the cloud itself, and you can select alternative regions in case of a disaster.

Amazon EC2 provides great scalability by allowing us to increase instances during peak traffic times and decrease them when not needed. We can dynamically provision resources such as CPU and memory.

I didn't face any major issues with technical support, as we have Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in place, and I would rate them as eight out of ten.

The product could benefit from offering more mixed instance types that combine features from different series to suit diverse workload requirements better.

You can access a new service. Additionally, there are various payment options available for the full service. In some cases, you can even bring your own license, depending on the agreement you choose to use with the system.

I advise you to learn about the cloud and web services.

Depending on the customer's configuration, we need to consider whether we are using a team with 32 gigabytes or 16 gigabytes It's essential to address any limitations in speed or capacity caused by these configurations. For instance, if more data is being generated, we may need to upgrade the device or find alternative solutions to improve the service. Scaling up the service might involve a separate discussion from performance or tool considerations.

Overall, I rate the solution a nine out of ten.

Almost everything we have, including virtual machines on AWS, uses Amazon EC2. The solution is running our servers on AWS.

Amazon EC2 decreased our reliance on hardware anymore. We replaced the data center with mostly Amazon EC2 servers.

The most valuable feature of Amazon EC2 is its ability to spin a new virtual machine in a few seconds. Another valuable feature of the solution is the auto-scaling group, wherein if one machine has a problem, another machine will be built by itself.

Amazon EC2 is very expensive, and it would be helpful if they decreased the pricing.

Amazon EC2's initial setup was complex. However, if we compare it to other virtual machines, Amazon EC2's setup is simple.

We have seen a return on investment with Amazon EC2 because it is cheaper than running a data center.

I am using the latest version of Amazon EC2. Amazon EC2 is deployed in our organization on cloud. If you know you will use a virtual machine for a long time, it is better to have Amazon EC2 as a reserve, which will be way cheaper.

We use EC2 like a virtual machine. It's like an instant server, so we use it as a separate server. EC2 is flexible when we need to increase its resources (memory, boosting, and storage) based on our usage. That is the power of EC2.

The feature I found most valuable is flexibility in being able to increase resources. It's the most powerful feature. We can increase EC2's resources with just a few simple clicks. We can handle this through the AWS console. It's easier than handling it on a hardware department section or hiring middleware engineers to manage the infrastructure.

My impression is that this is the main power feature of EC2. Before this feature was launched, we would have needed to contact another department or buy hardware. It was quite troublesome. Now, it's on-demand and flexible.

My impression is that the scalability of this product could be improved. My opinion is that, for example, the Lambda solution is much more scalable than EC2.

AWS provides everything to scale and gives you, based on their AI, a suggestion on whether to scale or not. This affects the payment so that is why we cannot scale quickly. It's not managed or scalable by itself. Developers should be able to easily scale EC2.

I have been using Amazon EC2 for about three years.

My impression of the stability of this solution is that it is quite stable. Sometimes, I have to restart it a few times but other than that it seems stable. I'd say 89% stable.

The most scalable AWS product is the Lambda function.

If we were to rate the scalability of AWS products and if Lambda were the most scalable and manageable service, EC2 would come in third or fourth place, based on my experience.

I have never used their tech support.

I think the initial setup was very easy. That's the power of using cloud technologies. You can create an EC2 instance in just a few minutes. It's set up, deployed, and automated very easily.

It takes only 10 to 15 minutes to initiate my instance. I work mostly in a development environment so I can manage it as just a development or staging environment. The production environment is managed by another team for security reasons.

Overall, I would rate this solution a nine, on a scale from one to 10, with one being the worst and 10 being the best.

We use Amazon EC2 for hosting our web fleet in autoscaling mode.

The time to Live is minimal. I can quickly create a VM instance with just one click.

I can reduce costs by using fewer instances with a lower workload. In the event of a sudden spike in demand, Amazon EC2 auto-scales, allowing me to pay for the increased load flexibly.

The availability and response time of the free technical support can be improved. At times, it is not reachable and there may be delays in receiving a response.
