The VPN is the most valuable feature. In general, I like the solution and it helps me connect to my corporate site.
I would like there to be more license consuming data. We don't have the correct visibility to see the quantity of licenses we are consuming or not consuming. Some of my clients complain about that. For example, they buy 1,000 licenses and cannot see if they are using 1,000 licenses or not.
I have been using Cisco AnyConnect for more than five years.
The solution is completely stable.
It's scalable. We have a lot of staff, and the company is growing. I haven't heard any complaints about it.
I would rate technical support 10 out of 10.
Installation is very easy.

Since the pandemic, we have been forced to work from home. Everyone that wants to continue working, and access the corporate resources we have to use a VPN. Almost everyone uses this solution in my organization, which is approximately 1,000 people.
I have not used technical support.
The initial setup of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is very easy. The link for the solution was given to me by my headquarters and I installed it. Initially, we needed separate login credentials, but now we only need to use our normal corporate login credentials to log into the solution.
The solution is very stable and very reliable. What I recommend is for others to have a stable network, that is all. The solution works well.
I rate Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client a nine out of ten.
We use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client in our home office for our VPN connections.
When we are working remotely, we click on the VPN, and nothing more.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client works well, we don't have any issues with it.
The most valuable feature of this solution is that it works all of the time.
In terms of speed, it depends on the bandwidth of the system rather than being an issue with Cisco. It's more of a bandwidth limitation issue.
I would like that it automatically detects when I'm not on the corporate network, it would automatically connect to the VPN. I don't want to have to click the button anymore. It should autodetect or monitor it, when I am in the office it goes to the network in the office, or when I'm not at the office, it automatically activates my VPN connection.
I have been working with the company and using the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for five years.
I have never updated this solution myself, our IT department updates our solutions. I am not aware which version we are using at the moment.
The stability is excellent. It works all of the time. I have not had any issues with the stability of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client.
I am not familiar with the scalability of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client. It is handled by our IT department.
This solution is used by everyone in our organization who owns a laptop. We have many thousands of users.
I'm not in the IT Department, so I'm not sure how many people have this tool on their laptops, but I believe everyone does.
I have never contacted technical support. There is no need. We go to our internal IT support first. There is a clear boundary between the user in the company and any further assistance.
It is included in the standard software package. I didn't need to install it. The IT department generates the default configuration of the laptop. In the end, it was already there and fully configured.
We have an internal IT department. Like in any company, it's an email help desk. I am not aware of how many people are in the IT support team.
I am not aware of the pricing.
As an end-user, it's good, I would rate Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client a nine out of ten.
We are using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client when we are connecting to our internal network. Additionally, we are using it when we are connecting to our customers' networks when we have to do any operation remotely. I am using it almost on a daily basis.
When we have different networks internally and different connectivities that we have to go through, such as a gateway, I can change my gateway if a gateway fails. It automatically finds a suitable one, and if there's a new system that has to be behind a different gateway, I can edit, and I can authorize it. Not everybody can see it, only whoever is approved can. It's a very good solution. It is providing the same authentication and similar facilities on my mobile application. I have an iPhone and some of my colleagues have Android, and it works on them.
Every time I have to connect to the network I use this solution. It is a customizable solution, it makes life easier for me. It makes the global workforce work much easier and more secure.
The solution is secure and has a lot of benefits.
There are times the WiFi connectivity has disruptions and you have disconnections. It doesn't work with two connections. I have two switches back and forth sometimes. It doesn't have a failback scenario feature. However, on the gateway side, it does, but on the user device, it doesn't have that kind of option. It would be nice to have this feature.
When a connection is from company to company using a VPN from the customer's network, it doesn't allow you to connect. It doesn't allow you connection if are on a secure internal network. It doesn't allow you to connect. this is a difficulty because sometimes customers are saying we have to get connected through VPN to a specific network for a specific meeting for one reason or another.
I have been using the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for approximately three years.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is stable.
The stability of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is very good. At the beginning of the pandemic, we had to expand the connectivity a lot and in a very short time, which the solution was able to handle well.
We have approximately 5,000 people using the solution in my organization. Everyone is using it.
I have not connected with technical support.

The solution is stable and secure. There are no bugs or glitches. It doesn't crash or freeze. It's reliable and the performance is good. It's also very secure.
The scalability is good. If a company needs to expand it, it can do so.
We have about 1,600 users at this time.
At this point, I'm not sure if we have plans to increase usage.
We have a lot of documentation available to us. In that sense, troubleshooting is easy.
We are also using Fortinet VPN.
We have found the initial setup to be very simple and straightforward. It's not overly difficult or complex to implement.
The deployment only takes about ten minutes.
We have a security team of five technical operators that can help deploy, maintain, and monitor everything.
We are able to implement the solution via official documentation.
I'm not sure which version of the solution we are using at this point.
I would recommend this solution to other organizations.
I'd rate it, in general, at a nine out of ten.
I am using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for my day-to-day work, because most of the applications, except the Microsoft applications which require a VPN.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client could improve by optimizing the use of the system resources, it is heavy on the resources. Additionally, there could be more transparency.
I have been using Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client for approximately five years.
The stability of the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client could improve. We have had a lot of problems with it. Once I'm disconnected from the Wi-Fi, it's not reconnecting automatically, I need to restart it many times manually.
We have plans to increase the usage of this solution, it can scale well.
The implementation of the solution was done by our IT department.
There is a subscription needed for the use of this solution.
I rate Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client a five out of ten.
Our primary use case for the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client has been remote access, especially since the start of the pandemic. We use it to give our technicians access to our applications.
We also use the Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client to create secure firewall-to-firewall connections for certain applications.
The Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is easy for end user to use. However, it can be difficult for the developer or solutions engineer to use because you need to have the infrastructure in place first. This is to do with key validation, certificates, and domain trust.
The setup could be simplified for solutions engineers with a wizard.
I initially started using Cisco routers and switches in 1998, but I stopped using them for a while as I was focused on my other work. I started using Cisco again in 2012 and have been using it since as I do a lot of security solutions.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is very stable.
Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client is scalable. However, the bandwidth and latency you need to use this solution is sometimes not available here in Africa. We run into trouble sometimes because of bandwidth.
Overall, I prefer Microsoft's tech support because I noticed that Cisco does not provide enough of it. Sometimes, we do not have access to tech support. Also, you can only get tech support for registered devices.
I recommend it. However, you first have to be sure that you have all the basics in place. You have to do your research and understand what the requirements of the solution are. It works for millions of people, so it will work for you.
It is also important to run some tests. That is what I always do. Don't go to the real alderman directly. Make your own tests.
