Identifies and analyzes performance issues quickly using in-built AI and ML
With Alluvio AppResponse, there is an in-built analytical analysis with AI and ML, which identifies and provides data such as the number of TCP retransmits, web access time, total connection time out, total connections established, and server-side errors. The RTCC response time composition chart is crucial because it helps pinpoint the issue's origin, whether from the server, network, or application side. It's a superb product when compared to SolarWinds SAM, which is agent-based, while Alluvio AppResponse captures all traffic from the core switch.

End-to-end monitoring has improved user experience and now supports comprehensive observability
The most valuable features of eG Enterprise depend on the application, so that's pretty vast, but they definitely include end-to-end application and infrastructure monitoring. User satisfaction with eG Enterprise is really the key component now, so if you go to VDI or RDH, any of those platforms, you get the total end-to-end user experience because they do have endpoint monitoring now as well, and that was the feature that was lacking before.

"It provides us with complete visibility of every packet."
"I have found the AppResponse, which is a packet capture solution, very good. It gives you the ability to drill down back in time. You've got all the packets there. You can troubleshoot it later, not immediately. It's very interesting."
"Opnet probes (AppResponse Xpert), now part of Riverbed, capture network traffic and calculate automatically many applicative and network KPI."

"We, for example, cut the costs by using the tool, and we also reduced the number of calls, which was one of the main value-adds for our operations department, as we were able to cut service requests by 75%."
"We haven't really had an issue per se, but there was a time when we had some network devices that were down, and eG showed us pretty quickly that that part of the network was down."
"It gives good insight into inside of what's going on with Exchange."
"EG monitors all infrastructure elements (all OS, all database, storage, network, and web server) from a single console."
"I hope this quick overview of version 6.1 of eG innovation Enterprise gives a nice insight in what they offer today, visit them at https://eginnovations.com ( https://eginnovations.com/ ) to find out more."

"The interface could be improved as it is not real intuitive. It is not user-friendly."
"Application TCP latency is an area with room for improvement, but I believe this is already on the roadmap."
"eG Enterprise's licensing could be cheaper. Even compared to Dynatrace, I think the price is quite expensive considering the APM functionalities, even though they have other benefits such as info monitoring."
"The UI looks a little dated and could do with a refresh."
"Application TCP latency is an area with room for improvement, but I believe this is already on the roadmap."
