Centralized email accounts have streamlined routing, security checks, and long-term organization
While using Amazon WorkMail over time, I haven't encountered substantial disappointments, but there have been usual glitches with the web interface. For instance, while the service is generally 99.5% perfect, I experience issues like the folder structure I set up sometimes not remembering the state of expanded and collapsed nodes after refreshing the page. This lack of persistence in which nodes are collapsed or opened can be frustrating. However, since it's a minor technical issue, I doubt the average user would notice it. If Amazon WorkMail were not discontinuing, I wouldn't think there is much to improve or enhance about it. It is standard enough and easy to use, and any glitches are minor, not worth evolving or disrupting its current functionality. As for whether the user interface is intuitive and if I'm satisfied with its flexibility and customizability, there are some minor features lacking, but I don't feel a need for changes since it works as designed. The most crucial aspect is that I can set up my address book with the complex organizational structure needed for the accounts connecting to AWS. The lower-level functionalities suit me well enough. Other services often have customizable views of email representations with senders, subjects, and even snippets of content. While my external application on mobile can show customizable lines with my email list, Amazon WorkMail does not offer that feature. I don't really need it, but it would be a nice addition for power users.

A good software for email marketing that integrates well with other third-party software, but its UI should be improved
I have found two or three issues with Zoho Campaigns. If we add any email content, Zoho Campaigns takes a lot of time to review by the back end. Two years back, a client set up Zoom Campaigns, and the lead was not entered into the campaign. The flow and everything else was fine, but entering the journey or the campaign took time. My company lost a customer because it took two weeks to review the emails we entered into that content. Zoho Campaigns has to improve its UI because sometimes it won't load the campaigns, and the software is a little lagging. So that's why people have started moving to Zoho marketing automation instead of Zoho Campaigns. Zoho Campaigns should include immediate sync for the deals model because it's still not there. Whenever a lead is entered, it is immediately synced, but there is no immediate sync for the deals.

Pros

"There is no need for me to set up security."
"Amazon WorkMail integrates with Route 53 and other AWS services, providing a seamless experience when using AWS infrastructure."
"WorkMail works very well, and the functionality is fine."
"Amazon SES is very easy to configure."
"It is very stable. I haven't faced any issues."
"Amazon SES can handle a high volume of emails, making it suitable for organizations with large email lists or that need to send a large number of emails on a regular basis."
"The best feature is that Amazon SES provides verified email messages."
"We have cut our costs in half."
"Putting the campaigns together on Zoho is reasonably straightforward. They have a little campaign builder tool that works very well as long as you don't want the campaign to be too sophisticated."
"The out-of-the-box integration with all the other Zoho applications is the most valuable feature of the solution."
"The initial setup is easy."
"It’s a very easy product to use, you do not need to be tech savvy or a whizz at email marketing."
"The most valuable feature of Zoho Campaigns is its ability to set up chain campaigns depending on the user's reaction."
"It's a very simple solution for email."
"The solution is very inexpensive and very reasonably priced."
"Zoho Campaigns is a good software for email marketing."

Cons

"The product should improve technical support."
"If we can have a completely managed backup solution where we have a tiered backup or a tiered archival to be able to retrieve emails, it would be great."
"We are losing clients because the price my clients pay for email alone is nearly equal to the price they pay for an entire Microsoft Office license, which includes email."
"Email service is definitely a requirement from an enterprise standpoint. Many organizations have their own on-premise email services, which take a lot of memory, backup, and other resources. If we can have a completely managed backup solution where we have a tiered backup or a tiered archival to be able to retrieve emails, it would be great. I would like to be able to retrieve emails in real-time (hot retrieval), over the 90-days period (warm retrieval), and over the one-year period (cold retrieval). It would be useful to have tiered backup and retrieval. It would help us in managing emails better and have a better backup solution. So, backup is something that we require."
"It would be nice if they had a what you say is what you get editor to build newsletters like MailChimp has."
"Now, I'm not very happy because they are discontinuing the service, and I will have to find a new one to migrate everything, including all my filters and routing rules."
"WorkMail is not available in all the regions."
"There is room for improvement in the scalability."
"The reports are not so clear."
"It takes a lot of work to get it set up the way you want. It's not an intuitive product. It takes coding work to get the sales process to work. That setup process could be simplified significantly."
"My usage is limited to the basic features."
"Its deliverability could be improved."
"When we use Zoho Campaigns, our emails often get routed to the spam folder instead of the inbox. For example, people who use Gmail to receive our newsletter will often miss it because it was sent to their spam folder. Many of our clients aren't seeing our work. We compared it to another solution, and the open rate was much higher because the emails went directly to the inbox."
"They could get better at dealing with spam. They need to improve their anti-spam capabilities."
"The support team takes a while to respond to our request."
"I would like the product to include a feature that shows website traffic similar to Mailchimp. I would also like to get user and customer activity on the website so that we can easily set campaigns according to customer interest."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The solution should improve its price."
"I rate the solution's pricing as one out of ten. It is close to being cheap. Sometimes, the tool offers a generous amount of free messages, up to 40,000, which is great for startups like ours. This means that we don't accumulate any costs for some months because we stay within the free usage tier. When we exceed the free allocation, the costs are reasonable, and no hidden charges exist."
"It's very cheap. The cheapest among all the services available."
"WorkMail does require a license, it is, per user."
"Zoho Campaigns is cheaper compared to other products."
"Since the product is part of a bundle, it is definitely very cost-efficient."
"There are additional charges, like whenever I add additional users, I need to pay extra."
"Zoho Campaigns is not that expensive as compared to other solutions like MailChimp."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"The solution's price is reasonable."
"The tool is priced less compared to other applications."
"We have an enterprise license for this because we use Zoho for lots of things. We have HR and a bunch of other things. We probably don't pay individually for marketing or sales, and it's all in the overall license that we have."
