Ease of backup and restore improves data management with reliable support

The interface of BDRSuite Backup & Replication is pretty intuitive. Regarding their marketing strategy, I'm very bad at marketing. I always get a little edgy when people try to shove their product in my face. There are two sides to the story. If you don't know something exists, you might not even start to look for it unless you really know that you need it. If you are explicitly looking for a solution, then you'll find it. People that don't know that they should do backup don't have a place in IT. I rate BDRSuite Backup & Replication 8.5 out of 10.

Seamless data protection and IP address management streamline server failover

I recommend Dell RecoverPoint for Virtual Machines. I work for a financial institution, and it does what we need it to do. I would rate the product eight out of ten. For improvement, I suggest better orchestration management for easier failovers. I would rate the overall solution an 8 out of 10.

"They said they can support Red Hat Virtualization and we assumed that they support any compatible system but we found we need to do a network backup or a network image, which is not what it said on their website. I have had many discussions with them about where this component is. Initially, I was searching for a component which would back up Red Hat Virtualization. They said they support this in the same way they support Hyper-V and VMware. I haven't found the feature in their portal or in any of their software. They haven't made a special agent for it, in the way they did for Hyper-V."

So, I removed the settings and started the backups again. The application is not stable. It needs some debugging and testing on the build side of production."

For example, if you run a weekly full backup and monthly backup, they cannot be run at the same time. I should not have to create a new job, but in this scenario, I am creating two jobs. So, it was an implementation issue that doesn't allow me to use it for VMware backup in the manner in which we would want to use it. Based on that, we went ahead and made the purchase of the full implementation.
