Enables secure remote access and load balancing with enhanced protection features
I find Citrix Gateway valuable for its capabilities as a reverse proxy, providing security to applications exposed to the Internet. Key features include load balancing, dual-factor authentication, clientless VPN, and Web Application Firewall (WAF). The product effectively helps me protect the organization's network from potential threats, thereby securing our environment from hackers and ransomware attacks.

Efficient technical support with good synchronization features, but it needs better security
We would like to be to secure access to all of the servers for all of the internal workers and engineers. We would like to have tools that provide us with security for our servers. I would like to see an improved repository to better see the users. We have a new project that requires a lot of security we will not continue with SecureLink. The security features offered in SecureLink are not enough.

Pros

"It's a stable solution while it's running. We don't have to work on it a lot. There are not many bugs, so it's easy to use if you deploy successfully. You can be sure of an uninterrupted solution for quite a long time. Citrix is a good product."
"If you need to share resources across a corporation, I would recommend this solution."
"It is easy to set up and is stable. It is scalable as well, depending on the model."
"The product is straightforward."
"It performs quite well."
"The solution has very flexible configuration."
"The stability of the solution is perfect."
"We have users in a remote environment that might require to access the service."
"The most valuable feature is synchronizing the limited access for partners or sub-contractors."

Cons

"The solution has unnecessary limitations."
"The major issue is price. I would also like them to make other aspects more accessible."
"At this time it costs 35% more than other solutions."
"I would like to see better configuration of repairs and downloading certification."
"Technical support could be improved."
"The load balancing could be improved."
"I would like to see improved logging because it doesn't keep much information for the session monitoring or historical sessions."
"The support experience has received mixed reviews, as not all support staff possess the necessary technical expertise to handle inquiries effectively."
"The security features offered in SecureLink are not enough."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe the pricing is comparable to SaaS"
"Pricing is very high if you do a comparison with what is available in the market."
"There are two or three different models, but you can actually have a CapEx where you purchase the unit outright and then there's a yearly maintenance cost on top for years two and three, and four, or you can actually do a subscription purchase through Citrix cloud and you pay on a monthly basis, or you can have a three-year subscription contract as well. I give the solution a six out of ten for its cost."
"The solution has a yearly licensing fee."
"There is a license to use Citrix Gateway and it is less expensive to use when compared to other solutions."
"There is a need to make yearly payments for licensing purposes. Also, it is not an expensive one."
"Citrix is quite expensive."
"It is expensive and requires proper planning with strategy."
"We are not happy with the recent increase in the price."
