Using the app is straightforward with easy buttons to click on.
Customer Service: We didn't contact their customer service at any point because the backup and recovery process is pretty straightforward. But they have a customer support email and phone just in case. Technical Support: CloudAlly can be used by a non-techie person because it's simple. We didn't contact the technical support, but it's available for any user who may encounter a problem.

Cons

"CloudAlly can improve in the areas of reporting, especially regarding backup statistics and backup failures presented in pie graphs and charts."
"The cloud part of it can be improved. There should be an option for Veeam in your own cloud, as compared to the Veeam cloud offering that's currently there. The rest of it is easy."
"The cost of the product is an area that would prevent me from using it in the future."
"We struggled to stabilize the application. We had an incident which resulted in a loss of data and have terminated this solution due to lack of support from the Veeam team."
"The solution could improve the performance. We are not able to check the status of any system. Additionally, if there was an option to monitor server clusters it would be helpful."
"Expanding its compatibility to include Linux would represent a significant advancement."
"Enhancing the level of automation in IT processes would be beneficial."
"Even though the speed has improved over the years, I think that there are some instances where it still takes a while."

Pricing and Cost Advice

Information not available
"The product is competitively priced."
"Setup cost and licensing of Veeam are nothing to complain about when compared to similar products for enterprise backup recovery solutions."
"Although our license includes support, we have only really used the support when we were using Veeam for Active Directory. The rest of the time, we find Veeam easy enough to use without paying extra support fees."
"The licensing is the worst part of Veeam Backup Replication because for the more complex situations and it's quite difficult and complex. In particular, when mixing different requirements the licensing model is complex. For example, mixing a virtual machine backup and a file server backup in the same installation can be somewhat difficult and is expensive."
"I don't know what the costs are for sure, but I think that it's on a yearly basis."
"The pricing of the solution could be reduced."
"Veeam Backup and Replication is a cost-effective solution"
"The pricing is on the higher side, so I think they have to think about the price. It's a stable product and there was no requirement to keep in touch with the support team, so the renewal license was too expensive."
