Great monitoring and chat features
I mainly use Comm100 for live chat between users The most valuable features are the ability to monitor users and to have a real-time internal chat with someone while they're chatting with someone on the outside. The system's stability could use an upgrade, it has a tendency to glitch sometimes.…

Crowdsourced knowledge has grown into a trusted customer hub and now supports richer adoption journeys
One inconvenience is that because we are crowdsourced, we have hundreds of contributors every year, with most people only submitting one article, maybe two, so it does not make sense to pay for licenses for all of those people. This leads to some intermediary manual copy-paste processes because we just cannot have everybody working in the system itself, making it a little bit problematic for maintaining a source of truth. The main issues with NICE CXone are the lack of ability to integrate with some internal things that we want to do; it has to do with the way the system is designed, which is complex. We wanted to integrate with our internal system for instant translations, and we were not able to do that, along with a couple of other things that illustrate that it is kind of an isolated system to itself, making it pretty hard to tap into and grow even further. There are a couple of little issues with reporting that have not been very good, but really, the system is very functional.

Pros

"The most valuable features are the ability to monitor users and to have a real-time internal chat with someone while they're chatting with someone on the outside."
"NICE CXone has positively impacted my organization by seamlessly joining our calls without any call drops, allowing me to listen to a call with ease, and making everything really easy to use and self-explanatory."
"MindTouch seemed to deliver the complete package, and we've not looked back."
"NICE CXone allows agents to request time off and trade schedules with other people, access training and coaching, and play games to help improve their performance, functioning as a good one-stop shop where they can input their preferred hours and manage their schedules, rather than having to go to multiple places for professional development."
"We have seen improvements in agent productivity, customer satisfaction, and reduced wait times, specifically an improvement in our CSAT scores and NPS scores, a reduction in cost per call, a decrease in average handle time, and utilization across the board has improved."
"I have found the ease of use of the ACD to be most valuable along with the inView dashboard."
"It has the ability to edit the HTML, as well as the WYSIWYG."
"MindTouch provides an easy way to create HTML using an MS Word-like interface."
"For me personally, NICE CXone has helped me manage my time and workflow better."

Cons

"The system's stability could use an upgrade, it has a tendency to glitch sometimes."
"If you have hundreds of books, the initial download is slow."
"It could improve the quality of calls."
"Compared to challengers such as Zoom, which seem more cost-effective, NICE CXone's suite of products is very modular, so as they provide new services, you have to add to your existing package and this balloons your costs since there's an additional license needed to use the new tools."
"However, Stage labels do nothing. They simply label the page with the Stage name."
"One area where CXone could improve is in creating a more streamlined, user-friendly interface."
"My advice to others looking into using NICE CXone is that it is an expensive product with a lot of guardrails on it."
"Your docs go on their servers and getting them out is difficult, especially if you want to switch to another authoring format, e.g., Markdown. There are no converters and an automated extraction of the docs from the CMS is not available."
"One of the biggest missing pieces is a link checker."
