Account Manager at a financial services firm with 1,001-5,000 employees
Integrates seamlessly, is simple to install, and has responsive internal technical support
It comes in three sizes: small, medium, and large. There is no problem with scalability or thresholds. It holds up. We have slightly more than 3,000 users globally. The users are everywhere spanning from sales, product development, cost management, professional services, support, and value management are all covered. In my opinion, it's a 100% uptake. There is no second solution. If you don't utilize it you can't do your job.

Integration tools streamline financial operations and enhance data management
The most beneficial feature in Workato is its accessibility. The interface is easily understandable even for a common user, unlike the NetSuite ERP direct website which requires more technical knowledge. In Workato, NetSuite ERP provides options for new employee records, invoice reports, and batch files processing. The batch processing capability allows handling up to 10,000 records simultaneously, which reduces tasks and processing time significantly. Regarding scalability, NetSuite ERP offers excellent options and reduces manual interventions through automation. In the past three months, I have observed improvements in their options and data storage capabilities, showing enhanced scalability compared to previous versions.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of this solution is the user interface, which is extremely simple and very modern compared to other similar software available."
"The most valuable feature is that it works according to how the Internet works."
"NetSuite ERP is a user-friendly cloud-based solution that posts into the GL in real time. You can see your profitability at the order level."
"We can install the bundles based on our needs."
"The most beneficial feature in Workato is its accessibility; the interface is easily understandable even for a common user, unlike the NetSuite ERP direct website which requires more technical knowledge."
"I would say that the solution is highly configurable."
"We use it for the projects we do in the telecom industry."
"NetSuite is significantly more affordable than Oracle EBS and offers a wider range of features than other OEMs."
"NetSuite ERP is good for a trading company that involves buying and selling."

Cons

"Pricing and partner support could be improved."
"The CRM module just does the basics."
"The solution's initial setup process was complex."
"NetSuite is good for data management, but it's missing payroll features."
"I would like to see improvement around the Revenue Recognition module. Right now, several templates are there, but they are either too complicated, or they are difficult to configure, from a company finance perspective."
"There is a lot of room for improvement. Multiple manufacturing features need to be updated on NetSuite. More functionalities need to be added. I think there are a lot of functionalities coming out for warehouse management systems and manufacturing automation via advanced manufacturing functionalities. I think they need to improve a little more on those aspects and make it easier on the scheduling aspect."
"It would be great if they offered localization for Central America."
"The areas that this product needs to improve on is the implementation and inventory processes."
"In terms of the main improvement to NetSuite is the talent itself. It's grown so fast and there are about 25,000 companies running on it, and it's a relatively newer system compared to other competitors. It's growing so fast that the talent base in the partner organization (there's about 200 of them), is pretty thin."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"According to what I've heard and understood, it's on the pricey side."
"The price of the solution is quite high."
"It's very competitively priced due to it being a subscription model. So, clients are quite happy with the pricing. I would rate it an eight out of ten in terms of pricing."
"I would advise that you first meet with and scope out your project with a NetSuite VAR (Value Added Reseller)."
"Regarding costs, it's not just about licensing. Customization recurring costs can become expensive over five to eight years, especially with new releases. However, NetSuite ERP integrates well with third-party applications, so it can still be used for finance while another ERP is used for localized production."
"The price is less than the cost of daily hours."
"Pricing for NetSuite ERP is okay, but it could be better. The licensing model for NetSuite ERP is based on the number of modules and users. The standard license covers up to twenty-five users. If you have more than twenty-five users, you'll have to buy the premium license, which would double the price. For one module with five user licenses, the cost is between $40,000 to $50,000."
"When people buy ERP, it's a competitive situation and the pricing is paramount."
"It is expensive."
