Cloud-native security has improved real-time threat detection and streamlined daily operations
While CrowdStrike Falcon is strong overall, there are a few areas where it could be improved. First, the user interface can be a bit complex for new users. Sometimes, navigating through different sections and understanding detailed alerts takes time, especially for teams without deep security expertise. The cost is also something to consider, as the features and additional modules can increase pricing, which may be a challenge for smaller teams. Additionally, some integrations with simpler reporting would be helpful. The onboarding process for new users is a bit challenging for beginners to understand all features and workflows in the product. More simplified documentation, step-by-step guides, and real-world examples could help new users get comfortable faster. A structured onboarding or basic training module would be very useful for teams who are new to endpoint security tools. In addition, having more in-product guidance and tooltips within the dashboard could make navigation easier and reduce the learning curve. Overall, improving training resources and onboarding support would make the platform more user-friendly, especially for new users.

A stable solution with excellent features and a helpful technical support team
We use the solution for cyber fusion centers The product has a lot of strong points compared to other tools. The prices must be reduced. I have been using the solution for one year. I am using the latest version of the solution. I rate the tool’s stability a nine out of ten. In my company,…

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"I like the vulnerability assessment and proactive hunting features of CrowdStrike Falcon."
"Among CrowdStrike Falcon's most valuable capabilities are its UEBA and SOAR functionalities, along with its seamless integration with any other SIEM solution."
"This product has worked flawlessly to prevent breaches, and then it has allowed us to prevent any downtime."
"It's given me a level of confidence that my network is secure."
"Their endpoint is pretty flawless. There is no lag on the machines at all. Even though I have a good overview of all the machines, that's pretty much the most valuable feature of CrowdStrike Falcon."
"CrowdStrike Falcon's scalability is good. We have thousands of students using this solution."
"From a security perspective, it has significantly improved our ability to detect threats in real-time and respond quickly before they affect multiple systems."
"The machine learning behavior for anomaly detection is a valuable feature. It helps identify any suspicious or unusual activities within the system."
"The technical support team is helpful."
"The product is stable."

Cons

"I would like CrowdStrike to provide some correlation in the threat analysis, so we can visualize things better."
"The biggest issue with Falcon as a standalone product is it doesn't have very much reporting."
"Tighter integration around XDR could be included."
"I'm concerned about the recent issue that involved a faulty update."
"The installation process for this software needs to be simplified."
"It would be nice if they did have some sort of Active Directory tie-in, whether that be Azure or on-prem."
"If we have a dashboard capability to uninstall agents, I think that would be great."
"Technical support could be better than what is currently offered."
"The prices must be reduced."
"The tool doesn't integrate well with ServiceNow."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We have a yearly subscription and find the price to be good. I'd give it a rating of four out of five for price, we got a good discount."
"Crowdstrike Falcon is relatively cheap."
"The pricing could be reduced. If it was more reasonable that would be great."
"Our company pays approximately US$ 65,000 annually for 900 machines."
"All I can say about the licensing cost is that it's negotiable."
"This solution offers annual subscriptions. The pricing for this solution could be reduced."
"Years ago, when we bought CrowdStrike, you got everything it had. I was a little concerned when they broke this out into a la carte modules where you can buy EDR, Spotlight, etc., picking and choosing off the menu. I was a little worried that the solution would get watered down. However, I realized in my previous organization when we had the full suite that there were a bunch of features in it that we didn't have time to operationalize. So, I warmed up to it. I get the whole, "Look, you can pick and choose. Okay, everybody buys a steak, but do you want mashed potatoes, or do you want lobster mac and cheese?" So, you can pick the sides that you want, so you can buy the solution that you want and operationalize versus paying a lot of money and getting a bunch of things, but not using 60 percent of the tools in the box."
"When it comes to licensing, customers can choose a bundle or select licences based on the specific features they would like access to. This solution comes with premium pricing. It is approximately 20 to 30% more expensive than competing solutions."
