With an easy initial setup phase in place, the tool needs to provide functionalities like web scraping to users
It is a very scalable solution. In ElectroNeek, you can build your project in modular programming or with the use of sub-programs. You can have a lot of sub-programs that make up a whole project. If you don't wanna use the drag-and-drop activities, you can use JavaScript or Python instead. So it's very useful when you are working with things such as SPS. Actually, you can write scripts to support all the product functionalities with Python and manage the product's functions. You will find a company named Apollo Studios on the website of ElectroNeek. I think they are one of the best companies in South Africa that entered into a partnership with ElectroNeek.

Pre-trained models work well, but it is very expensive
We have to do manual validation for some of the things due to the OCR engine not being so accurate. For example, S is read as 5, 5 as S, 2 as Z, and Z as 2. In the case of currency, if one dot is missing, it gives a completely incorrect number. These discrepancies should be fixed because if the OCR itself doesn't work properly, then AI doesn't help with that. When AI is used for training models, the AI Center works precisely, but if the data itself is wrong, we can't do anything. If the extraction of data is proper, it definitely helps. However, 20% errors could be reduced if the OCR engine were better. In future updates, I would like to see better handling of issues such as when a dot is missing in currency, for example, with dollars, it should handle that automatically. It's very expensive. If the volume increases, we can't afford to use Document Understanding. We are thinking of moving to another solution because we are expecting 80,000 to 100,000 invoices.

Pros

"It's a very stable product."
"The cost is the best thing about ElectroNeek."
"We find the OCR feature very valuable, due to the corrector recognition that it provides; this is very useful for document processing."
"I would advise others to go for it and just implement it; it is a really good solution."
"My favorite feature is that you can have unlimited bots without having to buy more licenses. That's a powerful option for scalability."
"The product's setup is straightforward."
"The drag and drop feature, which is no code, is very useful for me because I am not a technical person. It is very user-friendly."
"The most valuable feature is the price."
"Document Understanding's best features are the action center and verification mode."
"The most valuable feature of UiPath Document Understanding is the AI Center."
"It shortens the time of extracting data by 70 to 80%."
"The highly visual and user-friendly interface was a standout feature."
"UiPath enables us to automate manual tasks and duplicate them easily. The processes are highly accurate."
"The prebuilt algorithm for extracting foreign invoices is the most valuable feature because it eliminates the need for us to build anything from scratch."
"The most valuable feature in UiPath Document Understanding is the identification of the fields column in the PDF documents."
"The most valuable feature is the ability for humans to train the bot."

Cons

"ElectroNeek comes with three activities and we cannot add activities like we can with uiPADs."
"The solution needs to improve its stability."
"When I wanted to use web scraping for tables in web applications, I found through online forums that such functionality or activity is currently not working as it shows."
"The integrating capability of the product needs to be improved, to ensure that it works with all systems involved in a process."
"It's not applicable to very large enterprises and for difficult work or more complex processes."
"It's not applicable to very large enterprises and for difficult work or more complex processes."
"Its price could definitely be lower."
"The pricing is an area with a shortcoming, and from an improvement perspective, it needs to be made cheaper."
"Sometimes, when the number of items is very large, the solution doesn't properly identify them."
"There could be a feature similar to ChatGPT where when you ask about a document, you get an answer about what is there in that document. If possible, this kind of feature can be incorporated so that you do not need to open a file and take the value. It should directly detect that instead of opening and validating the document. Such a feature will speed up the process."
"UiPath Document Understanding requires more database connectors."
"They could work on the digitizing and classification of documents."
"It would be ideal if they could include more packages for more use cases."
"UiPath Document Understanding's ability to read handwritten files has room for improvement."
"The extraction and classification process should be simplified."
"I would like to see more integration of artificial intelligence. That's being implemented, but it would be a massive improvement to the solution's document processing. If UiPath achieves intelligent document processing, it will be far better than anything on the market. There are currently some limitations with the fields that could be addressed using a GPT engine. With an integrated AI model, you wouldn't need to create your taxonomy. You would only need to provide some prompts, such as "What is the property name?" It will store that as a variable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Its price could definitely be lower. Its licensing is on a yearly basis. There is no additional cost to the standard licensing fees."
"I believe we had a Silver Membership or something similar annually."
"My company has made a payment towards the purchase of a license from ElectorNeek."
"It's very affordable and the licensing is billed on a yearly basis."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a seven."
"I give the price an eight out of ten."
"While Robotic Process Automation tools can be expensive, UiPath Document Understanding is no exception."
"It's expensive, but you can reduce the price per license by getting more licenses. Overall, the pricing is okay."
"UiPath Document Understanding is considered a bit expensive compared to other options like Microsoft Azure, which can offer similar quality at a more affordable rate."
"The price is on the high end."
"UiPath's pricing model is complex and based on AI units, which are consumed during model training and use."
"We received a 60-day free trial before having to purchase a license to continue using UiPath Document Understanding."
"UiPath Document Understanding carries a premium price tag, but its current technological capabilities may not yet fully justify the cost."
"For the licensing part, in our company, we initially started off with a monthly plan, but yearly plans are also there. Cost-wise, UiPath Document Understanding is good since it provides flexibility in its pricing."
