User-friendly, good UI, but does not work well with Microsoft Edge
We use the solution to automate processes such as the pay slips within the consol portal The solution is user-friendly with a really good UI and ID. The support is good. ElectroNeek has video recordings that enable us to easily automate tasks, and it includes a wide variety of activities. The…

Pre-trained models work well, but it is very expensive
We have to do manual validation for some of the things due to the OCR engine not being so accurate. For example, S is read as 5, 5 as S, 2 as Z, and Z as 2. In the case of currency, if one dot is missing, it gives a completely incorrect number. These discrepancies should be fixed because if the OCR itself doesn't work properly, then AI doesn't help with that. When AI is used for training models, the AI Center works precisely, but if the data itself is wrong, we can't do anything. If the extraction of data is proper, it definitely helps. However, 20% errors could be reduced if the OCR engine were better. In future updates, I would like to see better handling of issues such as when a dot is missing in currency, for example, with dollars, it should handle that automatically. It's very expensive. If the volume increases, we can't afford to use Document Understanding. We are thinking of moving to another solution because we are expecting 80,000 to 100,000 invoices.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"ElectroNeek was extremely easy to use, especially its UI was easy to navigate with limited training."
"The product's initial setup phase was easy."
"We find the OCR feature very valuable, due to the corrector recognition that it provides; this is very useful for document processing."
"The cost is the best thing about ElectroNeek."
"My favorite feature is that you can have unlimited bots without having to buy more licenses. That's a powerful option for scalability."
"The drag and drop feature, which is no code, is very useful for me because I am not a technical person. It is very user-friendly."
"The solution is user-friendly with a really good UI and ID."
"The most valuable feature is the price."
"With Document Understanding, tasks that would normally take eight hours manually can be completed in three to five hours. It still requires some human intervention, but 90 percent of the processing can be automated."
"It is a pretty scalable tool, and it works well for big companies."
"I like the clear and organized way in which UiPath has structured the labeling process, as well as the user-friendly development environment."
"AI Center is helpful for creating data sets. Machine learning helps with some extraction. The ML extractor gives good results after training."
"Document Understanding's best features are the action center and verification mode."
"UiPath Document Understanding is user-friendly, with an easy-to-use self-trained model, and the OCR it provides does a good job even with scanned PDFs."
"UiPath Document Understanding offers multiple types of extractors, which we can use to extract information from documents in a variety of ways."
"It's great for document understanding for invoices and installments."

Cons

"The integrating capability of the product needs to be improved, to ensure that it works with all systems involved in a process."
"Its price could definitely be lower."
"I think that this solution could improve remote desktop interactions."
"ElectroNeek comes with three activities and we cannot add activities like we can with uiPADs."
"The pricing is an area with a shortcoming, and from an improvement perspective, it needs to be made cheaper."
"It's not applicable to very large enterprises and for difficult work or more complex processes."
"When I wanted to use web scraping for tables in web applications, I found through online forums that such functionality or activity is currently not working as it shows."
"The solution works well with Google Chrome, but not with Microsoft Edge, which is the browser we use for automation."
"The signature and handwriting are a pain point for the OCR and have room for improvement."
"A lot of coding is required to make handwriting decoding happen; it's not so easy as plug and play."
"If the volume increases, we can't afford to use Document Understanding. We are thinking of moving to another solution because we are expecting 80,000 to 100,000 invoices."
"The signature comparison feature of UiPath Document Understanding could be improved."
"The machine learning model needs improvement, as we receive more and more unstructured documents from clients that require a lot of manual validation."
"There are also problems with handwritten documents. The results from those are not 90 percent accurate. With scanned and native PDFs, it is 90 to 99 percent accurate, but the accuracy of handwritten documents is somewhat less. If they could improve on that, it would also be helpful."
"If there were more integrations with Veracode or the AWS server, so we don't have to completely transfer our data and keep data on our servers, that might increase security."
"I would like to see more integration of artificial intelligence. That's being implemented, but it would be a massive improvement to the solution's document processing. If UiPath achieves intelligent document processing, it will be far better than anything on the market. There are currently some limitations with the fields that could be addressed using a GPT engine. With an integrated AI model, you wouldn't need to create your taxonomy. You would only need to provide some prompts, such as "What is the property name?" It will store that as a variable."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"I believe we had a Silver Membership or something similar annually."
"Its price could definitely be lower. Its licensing is on a yearly basis. There is no additional cost to the standard licensing fees."
"It's very affordable and the licensing is billed on a yearly basis."
"My company has made a payment towards the purchase of a license from ElectorNeek."
"I give the price an eight out of ten."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive, I rate the pricing a seven."
"I find the pricing to be somewhat on the higher side."
"The last time we implemented UiPath Document Understanding the price was high."
"While Robotic Process Automation tools can be expensive, UiPath Document Understanding is no exception."
"UiPath Document Understanding is expensive, with the basic annual package including 6,000 documents and the next package including one million documents, a huge price difference."
"UiPath Document Understanding compared to the competitors is high."
"It is expensive. The license cost for UiPath Studio has risen to around 3.5 lakhs last year, and I am uncertain how much the increase will be this year. They have also increased the bot prices."
"I used the community version, so there was no fee."
"Its pricing can be looked into because it is on the higher side for developing economies, such as India, where the cost of labor is a little cheaper compared to advanced technologies."
