Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Enterprise Cloud Cost Over And Visibility Parts at a manufacturing company with 10,001+ employees
Clear license visibility has reduced waste and guides current software spending decisions
We often communicate with the technical support of Flexera One, and they are providing a good service to us. We are raising cases for the SKU-based library of Flexera One. Suppose there are SKUs which are not recognized. We raise a case with them asking if they could please recognize this SKU or add this SKU to the SKU library. We are in touch with them. Suppose we are not understanding any feature of Flexera One, then we are asking them for a one-to-one call. They interact with us and easily tell us things which we can understand. I will give it a 10 for the technical support of Flexera One on a scale from one to ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"On average, the return that I've seen is about three dollars for every dollar spent on RPA."
"Automation Anywhere drastically reduces manual work for employees."
"It is an easy product. It is easier and less complex than any other RPA tool in the market. It is a popular product."
"The ROI is very good because the output is very accurate and the speed is very fast."
"With Automation Anywhere, they receive their financial statements while still on the call."
"Automation Anywhere's image reader is the most valuable feature."
"The tool is now more stable, with more opportunities and new commands, like recording for the UI or advanced Excel features."
"There are more valuable features with the updated solution; now they have both the list view and the flow view, they have increased some features in terms of data types, they now have good usage of the data table and have added variable types, and it's convenient."
"The best feature of Flexera One is the latest feature about AI, which really impresses me because I can log into the Flexera One portal, click on the AI, and ask it questions."
"I recommend it highly."
"The best thing about FlexNet Manager for my clients is its strong grip on managing licenses and ensuring they stick to their contracts."
"It is a stable solution."
"Sometimes I see cost savings in excess of 40 to 60 percent, with resources also in the same percentage area, depending on what the use case is and how much work and preparation was put into actually designing it appropriately for the use of the tool, as the more that had to get cleaned up or adjusted, the percentages could certainly even increase more."
"I like the way it does its compliance. I like its discovery, and I like the fact that it keeps separate hardware and assets and provides easy accessibility to raw data."
"Flexera One helps us gain more customers because we are able to look after customer assets, which is really good."
"I like the way that Flexera connects our contracts to our purchases."
"It is a scalable product."

Cons

"The dashboard has room for improvement."
"To achieve a perfect ten, I would want to see new features working as expected and further advancements in automation."
"They want to get more accuracy in handwritten forms, which might take some time."
"Some of the machine learning (ML) components are still in development. They deployed many of them, but they are doing some improvements on the machine learning part."
"The Insight feature could be improved. I don't think there's a lot of information about how to use Insight, so you have to try different scenarios to understand that feature better."
"When comparing the code under version checks, although there is a change done, it doesn't say so because the change is done at the variable level and not in the line of code."
"The local support in Brazil could improve. While it has gotten better in the last few months, we've struggled as a global company trying to contact them sometimes."
"They could improve their reporting. I'd particularly like them to allow you to schedule it."
"The mainframe need improvement."
"While it shows various configurations regarding where my server and VM are placed, it does not indicate how many licenses are needed or how the calculations are performed."
"The customer support is fairly decent; it could be better in terms of the quality of answers provided."
"The biggest challenge I am facing is that Flexera One has a lot of data. It takes time to load and process."
"The hardware and connectors in the product have certain shortcomings where improvements are required."
"There is room for improvement in the purchasing module. There are things I would change in that. Also, the automation components, like having the contracts, scheduling, and notifications embedded into the application, which they've been promising to do since 2014."
"One area that could use improvement is the deployment of Flexera agents."
"The product’s stability needs improvement."
