Integration platform has simplified logistics workflows and has streamlined complex order handling
The best aspect is that it is very easy to use. The UI is very intuitive, and you can learn it very quickly because the basic principles are straightforward and easy to search. Frends has a great UI, but the UI is missing role-based permissions. You can filter your integrations by roles and add several users to roles, but in the UI, the functionality for this kind of management feature is not optimal. User management or user role management could be improved.

Centralized collaboration has transformed API testing and documentation across multiple teams
In terms of improvement, the UI can sometimes feel heavy for larger collections in the workspaces. Additionally, performance may slow down with complex API projects, and pricing can be expensive for smaller teams. However, it is quite suitable for bigger teams. Other areas for improvement include better reporting and analytics dashboards, and more advanced native test environment features could enhance workflow, with smoother offline support and sync handling. Additionally, better performance for very large collections would be helpful, along with more intuitive navigation for enterprise-scale workspaces, stronger reporting analytics, easier management of permissions across large teams, and more flexible automation and testing report options would be beneficial. Small usability and performance improvements would make Postman Enterprise even more efficient for larger organizations. Postman Enterprise needs better performance optimization for large enterprises, more detailed analytics user reporting, improved API governance and audit visibility, simpler permissions and access control management, faster sync and loading times for larger collections, and more advanced built-in testing and reporting capabilities.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The product has valuable features for version control."
"One of the benefits is the speed of creating something new. Second, it's replacing the old integration quite fast. Then it is like the visibility of the integration and the possibility to see what is happening in the integration."
"The user-friendly interface for constructing integration solutions is also a notable benefit."
"The best aspect is that it is very easy to use."
"It's easy to see different versions of responses."
"We can also submit requests multiple times and it allows us to capture the response each time by using utility scripts."
"Postman lets you create, manage, and validate a suite of tests. It has several features to help you organize your test suite. You can also automate stuff with a lot of validations and assertions. Postman supports GraphQL, and you can do various kinds of calls."
"We can test APIs. We know if they are functional or throwing any errors."
"The initial setup of this solution is straightforward. Postman can be used as an extension in Google Chrome for those who do not wish to install it directly. Deployment took an hour and a half."
"Postman helps us to automate the API testing in the team."
"The most valuable features of the solution are that it is easy to use and user-friendly."
"The solution is simple to use and you can easily store your projects."

Cons

"Logging should be better."
"It is a new application and lacks some essential features compared to competitors."
"One of the primary areas for improvement is a more mobile-friendly interface for the control center."
"Another enhancement includes the monitoring part. It would be nice to have some sort of maybe mobile app on which we can see how integrations are running if there are some problems, and getting those alerts on the mobile would be really nice."
"I have recently noticed that, for some reason, I am not able to import collections in JSON. It is weird because I was able to do it before. When you create a new collection and documentation, in tests, you usually have to click Save. If you don't click Save, your collections don't sync with other devices, which is something I don't like. It is not clear for the users in a shared workspace, and I usually forget to click Save and end up losing all the collections that I created. I create a lot of routes, and clicking Save all the time isn't efficient. Instead of clicking Save all the time, there should be an option to save everything in one go."
"Postman does not have database validation available, which affects its scalability."
"It would be better if we could integrate programming languages like .NET, Java, and JavaScript. It could also be more user-friendly."
"Unfortunately, because of this, I have to search for another solution that supports SOAP APIs, because Postman doesn't."
"They should integrate the solution with one of the CRM solutions."
"The solution could be more user-friendly."
"I have display issues in my Windows that need to be fixed."
"I would like to see more integrations with other platforms."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Recent changes in their pricing have removed this benefit, moving towards process-specific pricing."
"The pricing is quite fair."
"I am using the free option."
"The solution's price is reasonable."
"We use the open-source version. They introduced a new licensing model where your company must subscribe to their services if you're using it for business purposes. However, I think they charge too much if you're only using the basic features. It limits what your organization can do if you're not a paying customer."
"This solution offers a free version."
"This is an open source solution."
"I rate the product's price a nine or ten on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is very expensive. Postman is an expensive tool for Turkey."
"Unlike APIs, the solution does not require a license."
"Its price is moderate as compared to other competitors. The version that we are using is not open source, so it is not free."
