Crowdsourced knowledge has grown into a trusted customer hub and now supports richer adoption journeys
One inconvenience is that because we are crowdsourced, we have hundreds of contributors every year, with most people only submitting one article, maybe two, so it does not make sense to pay for licenses for all of those people. This leads to some intermediary manual copy-paste processes because we just cannot have everybody working in the system itself, making it a little bit problematic for maintaining a source of truth. The main issues with NICE CXone are the lack of ability to integrate with some internal things that we want to do; it has to do with the way the system is designed, which is complex. We wanted to integrate with our internal system for instant translations, and we were not able to do that, along with a couple of other things that illustrate that it is kind of an isolated system to itself, making it pretty hard to tap into and grow even further. There are a couple of little issues with reporting that have not been very good, but really, the system is very functional.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Can integrate with a lot of gateways in voice."
"MindTouch provides an easy way to create HTML using an MS Word-like interface."
"The system is very flexible and powerful, especially for organizations wanting to control their environment."
"I assess the impact of the omnichannel capabilities on customer journey consistency as excellent, as it is a single pane of glass solution where all channels and omnichannel features are available, which is very supportive and increases customer productivity overall."
"Converting our PDFs to MindTouch is like adding a huge new feature to our software product line and it has, so far, had a great approval rate amongst our clients."
"MindTouch seemed to deliver the complete package, and we've not looked back."
"Customer support is terrific. The team is personable, informed, and responsive."
"It has the ability to edit the HTML, as well as the WYSIWYG."
"If you are wondering if you or your company should use NICE inContact, I would suggest reaching out to them and asking for a demonstration."

Cons

"Customer support can sometimes be delayed."
"It could improve the quality of calls."
"However, being a NICE consumer or developer for these instances and products currently, it becomes challenging due to documentation issues and the instability of some products."
"We experienced a significant outage when someone at NICE CXone brought our system down."
"One area where CXone could improve is in creating a more streamlined, user-friendly interface."
"I was using a very old version (2010), and the user interface was bad making it difficult to perform simple tasks."
"A better approach would be to have built-in routing capabilities for scenarios such as routing by area code to different agents, rather than having to build this functionality with snippets."
"One of the things I dislike about NICE CXone is that during the evaluation process, it was promised that true omnichannel routing would be part of the product, but it turns out that was not necessarily the case."
"If you have hundreds of books, the initial download is slow."
