Lacks multi-platform support and physical infrastructure but excels in storage optimization
We use it for VM backup and Office 365 backup I find the solution to be user-friendly and easy to manage and deploy. It provides storage for Office 365, which is beneficial, and the deduplication technology is excellent, especially in optimizing storage capacity compared to others. In terms of…

Trustworthy and provides good availability
Our administrator found the solution easy to use, but once that administrator left, it felt very overwhelming to the individual who took it over. It could be more of a knowledge transfer situation that didn't happen, but we didn't know if it was easy to use. Precisely Assure QuickEDD is deployed on the cloud in our organization. The implementation of QLED helped us with our recovery time objective and was a seamless transition. In order to utilize the product to its fullest potential, users should be knowledgeable of what it offers. They should also form a relationship with the person who is their representative. Overall, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.

Pros

"The CDP backup feature is very nice, as it allows you to take backups at high frequencies and with application consistency."

"Altaro Hyper-v backup is not pricey and provides great features to secure your production data on Microsoft Hyper-V clusters."
"Reverse Delta is Altaro proprietary backup deduplication technology. With Reverse Delta, the latest version of a file is always made available in its entirety, not as a delta file."
"It is an excellent product; it is easy to deploy, stable, and fast, and their support is excellent."
"It is a great lesson in keeping it simple."
