Effective and extensive campus Wi-Fi with room for better frequency management

Offers visibility and cost benefits
The tool has given us more visibility, but I'm not very technical, so I can't comment on specific features. However, the diagnostic tools for identifying system issues have greatly improved, which we appreciate. We still use Cisco ICE for authentication on the Juniper network, as we did before. We've seen cost benefits with the Juniper WLC Series, which was a key factor in our decision-making during the proof of concept. Besides cost improvements, we've also noticed better resolution of issues and faults in our help desk, thanks to the enhanced features.

"The solution's most valuable feature is mobility or seamless roaming."
"The solution is easily managed compared to other wireless solutions."
"The most valuable thing about Huawei Wireless is that it is one of the cheapest WiFi 6 systems. Its price is very nice. The other WiFi systems cost about 15% more."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is its simplicity."
"The product is simple and easy to use."
"That would be more of engineering at this point. I'm from more of the business side. It's pretty much doing the standard installations with portal integrations and integrations with the Mac."
"The tool has given us more visibility, but I'm not very technical, so I can't comment on specific features. However, the diagnostic tools for identifying system issues have greatly improved, which we appreciate. We still use Cisco ICE for authentication on the Juniper network, as we did before. Besides cost improvements, we've also noticed better resolution of issues and faults in our help desk, thanks to the enhanced features."
"The installation process is very easy."
"It is a very stable solution."
"There weren't any scalability issues, the product did what it had to do."
"It prevents a large number of unauthorized modifications of access point devices."
"The Artificial Intelligence on offer is very useful."

Cons

"What needs improvement in Huawei Wireless is after-sales support. I've faced many after-sales support issues, so that's the area I want Huawei to improve. Having an SLA with customers is what I'd suggest to Huawei Wireless."
"The technical support needs to be improved. They also need to produce some more technical guides."
"As such, there are no problems. It has been good. There were some issues with the network design, but that is not specifically related to the product. We had to make some improvements in the network design. The product as such is fine, and there are no big issues. We are using the latest version having most of the features available in the industry, so the specs are very high. If something new comes up new in the industry, it needs to be incorporated into the product."
"Huawei Wireless can improve the signal, sometimes it becomes weak."
"The stability could be improved."
"The speed could be a bit better."
"Technical support could be better."
"The manageability of radio frequencies to avoid overlapping needs improvement."
"There could be a high level of security."
"The biggest issue was that Juniper stopped developing, so we had to look for another solution."
"In my region, access to the product is very difficult and presents a logistical nightmare."
"There could be more information from the controller, and it could be easier to work with the controller lights. It's not easy to bring up the upgrades."
"In my region, access to the product is very difficult and presents a logistical nightmare. Also, pricing is a big problem and a barrier to entry when selling Juniper against competitors."
"The solution should create configuration documentation."
"Juniper lacks a network access control agent similar to solutions like Alubakya Path and Cisco ISE."
"We would prefer it if the solution could be less expensive."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The platform is less costly than one of its competitors. I rate the pricing a three out of ten."
"I would rate the tool's pricing a seven out of ten."
"Its price is reasonable."
"We don't have any control on the pricing. This comes from Huawei in India. Pricing-wise, Huawei is very aggressive and competitive if you compare them to competitors, like Cisco, Aruba, and Ruckus. The Indian Huawei team tells us, "Just pick up the order and design the infrastructure. If there are any pricing challenge, we'll work on that and we will try to match things 100 percent.""
"Huawei Wireless is an expensive solution."
"The price is good for the solution and there is a license required."
"The price of Huawei Wireless is very good."
"I would rate them something, like, eight to nine, on a scale of one to ten, where one is cheap, and ten is expensive."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"There is a certain amount that needs to be paid towards the licensing charges associated with the product, but though I am not sure, I feel the licenses that we have in our company are for three years."
"The product is relatively affordable for enterprise companies."
"Juniper WLC Series is a bit pricey but worth its cost."
"The licensing cost is quite high, but considering it's an enterprise solution, the complexity justifies the price."
