Positive features shine with room for growth in advanced analytics adoption
Aruba Access Points are technologically advanced. Price-wise, they are cheaper than Cisco and other options. Our market is very price-conscious, so we normally work with Aruba in general. Feature-wise, they are technically strong, but the main point is the price point, which is very important for proposing, developing, and establishing a solution. Regarding scalability, users can implement many types of access points and increase their quantity. When using the controller-based solution, scalability is readily available. The main advantage is the flexibility of usage and comfortability. Users can build networks on Aruba Access Points, and the price is very comparable with other products. The feature set is good enough. Aruba Wi-Fi 6 is available in the market, but it is not generally required because it is costlier than traditional Wi-Fi 4 and 5.

AI-driven optimization enhances network management and reduces hardware needs
In my region, access to the product is very difficult and presents a logistical nightmare. Also, pricing is a big problem and a barrier to entry when selling Juniper against competitors. Furthermore, the knowledge of the product's capabilities is not understood properly by those selling it, leading to overselling and overquoting.

"Aruba products are good. The Middle Eastern marketplace is one of the biggest markets where Aruba products are preferred."
"The Adaptive Radio Management feature is quite good."
"The main strengths of Aruba Access Points lie in their connectivity, range, and straightforward configuration. Setting up the access point is a quick process, taking only seconds. Standard features such as identity access management, captive deploy tools, and VLE are available. Additionally, Aruba offers medical-grade access points like the 400 series, which is well-suited for healthcare or hospital environments. One noteworthy feature is the impressive handshaking capability, particularly when transitioning between access points. This ensures a seamless experience without disconnection, especially when a well-designed heat map is in place. Aruba Access Points are robust and require minimal maintenance, making them reliable for long-term use."
"The product is quite accessible and reliable."
"The installation process is nice and easy."
"The AI integration with Marvis is very valuable."
"There weren't any scalability issues, the product did what it had to do."

Cons

"The solution's technical support and the quality of the new releases need to be improved because we have seen a lot of bugs in the solution's new releases."
"The product should improve its integration and the grouping of the features and functions."
"The stability must be improved."
"I would appreciate for the higher-end models to offer the same signal strength as the older, smaller models, even while maintaining the latest standards, as this would enhance the overall network performance and coverage."
"While scaling up to five hundred users, it may cause some performance issues."
"Going with a cloud solution will make dependency no longer a challenge from a connectivity point of view."
"The delivery timeline is a major problem. There are also configuration and integration issues since not many engineers are available in the market who has expertise with the product. Some of our customers also experience network slowness."
"Since we manufacture medical devices, we must adhere to pharmaceutical guidelines. According to these guidelines, our rooms are categorized as 'head type' and thus require network connectivity. However, installing high-end APs in every room may not be feasible."
"The solution could offer more integration with other products."
"We would prefer it if the solution could be less expensive."
"Juniper lacks a network access control agent similar to solutions like Alubakya Path and Cisco ISE."

"In my region, access to the product is very difficult and presents a logistical nightmare. Also, pricing is a big problem and a barrier to entry when selling Juniper against competitors."
"The solution should create configuration documentation."
"The biggest issue was that Juniper stopped developing, so we had to look for another solution."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The cost of Aruba Access Points has been on the rise, which may be due to market dynamics or regional factors, such as in Egypt. Additionally, the availability of Aruba products is a concern, with a lead time of approximately twelve months. This prolonged waiting period and a lack of responsiveness from HP, the parent company of Aruba, have led to the cancellation of some orders. The supply chain for Aruba appears to face challenges, impacting product delivery timelines."
"The product is expensive if you want it to have a long life."
"The product is more expensive than two of its competitors."
"The pricing is reasonable."
"The pricing is competitive. It is neither cheap nor expensive. It is moderate. It offers better price than Cisco and other competitors."
"The tool's pricing is not expensive. It is perfect as per the features."
"I implemented seven access points in 2015, and I only spent $6,000 for the whole project."
"It is a reasonably priced tool."
"The solution's pricing is reasonable."
"There is a certain amount that needs to be paid towards the licensing charges associated with the product, but though I am not sure, I feel the licenses that we have in our company are for three years."
"The licensing cost is quite high, but considering it's an enterprise solution, the complexity justifies the price."
"The product is relatively affordable for enterprise companies."
"Juniper WLC Series is a bit pricey but worth its cost."
