Granular backups, good customization, and very reliable
NAKIVO should broaden its horizons in terms of compatibility and integration with other tools. For instance, it would be beneficial to test its integration with other virtual environments like Proxmox, as I have not yet had the opportunity to conduct the necessary tests for this new proposal from NAKIVO. Additionally, integrating the tool with ERP systems and monitoring tools is essential. Lastly, I would suggest putting more effort into making the user interface more intuitive to enhance the backup management experience.

Pros

"The most valuable feature for me is the policy management capabilities"
"This product has a very clean and intuitive GUI."
"Nakivo's reporting features have helped a lot. They give my boss high visibility into what's going on, which is crucial because we had a data breach in the past where we lost about 12 years of data. That's why we bought several appliances, and we replicate the same backup twice a day to three different depositories."
"The cost aspect and the ease of licensing, along with simplified licensing, are most valuable."
"We spend less time to get data recovered."
"The solution offers reliable copying and fast recovery."
"This product provides cost-efficient and reliable backups."

"The speed of the backups and replications is fantastic and, for the most part, the simplicity of use has been wonderful."

Cons

"I would like to see more integration with different platforms."
"Space is always an issue."
"I would like to have a built-in SNMP client, which is important if we want to monitor it using Zabbix, Nagios, or another monitoring solution."
"They need a better knowledge base with more information about support issues."
"In the future, I would like to see support for backing up data to more cloud platforms, besides Amazon."
"I think it is important to work not only in replicating the virtual machines in Amazon AWS, but in other cloud systems."
"The backup speed needs improvement."
"Nakivo's implementation documentation could use a little beefing up."
"It would be a good thing to have some use case and architecture examples online to understand integration in complex infrastructure."
