Has significantly improved document-driven workflows and reduced processing time across finance and HR functions
Automation Anywhere has evolved significantly and upgraded itself to provide agentic AI and AI-based automation solutions for document automation. The product has matured considerably over time. We can create workflows that can call an API. We can include prompts in particular workflows for ChatGPT-related functions, connecting to an LLM and RAG to perform tasks. For document automation, modern features are available to train documents, ensuring high accuracy and repeatability over time. The system is very easy to use. I recently completed a course in document automation, typically designed for people involved in coding and technical aspects. Though I understand coding comprehensively, I don't do actual coding. The course was very accessible. Currently, extensive coding isn't necessary due to the hybrid model incorporating GenAI aspects, low-code, no-code capabilities, APIs, and numerous pre-built objects in Automation Anywhere. The features include GenAI-driven prompting methods and workflow creation capabilities. In these workflows, we can create decision boxes and call APIs without coding. We simply pull objects, drop them, connect them, and add minimal coding when needed. The most crucial aspect isn't coding but rather sizing the automation and fleshing out the details. Automation Co-pilot takes notes and performs automated analysis. It can extract details from videos, summarize conversations, and provide detailed information. During calls, it identifies instructions and performs tasks such as preparing reports and reconciliation. Automation Anywhere can also connect with Microsoft Co-pilot. Through Co-pilot, real-time operations can be executed, allowing direct interaction between vendors and automation through this component.

Automation has reduced repetitive endpoint maintenance and keeps our educational devices compliant
Every software has some drawbacks and cons. For Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management, I think the first improvement I would suggest is to simplify initial configuration. The process to make endpoint enrollment, device grouping, and configuration easier, particularly for organizations managing different categories of devices, would be helpful. If the initial configuration is simplified, better workflows for shared computers, labs, faculty workstations, and administrative devices would make it easier to apply different software and security policies without duplicating configuration. For my work, I would suggest one improvement that would make my experience with Ivanti smoother than before. I would want Ivanti to clearly explain the root cause when something fails, such as when a patch deployment or automated remediation fails. It shows the error code, but when we are doing a lot of work, it kind of makes a lot of hassle to read the documentation or ask an AI what kind of error it is facing. My recommendation here is to show the issue, show the full explanation of how it is working, where it failed, and show whether the issue can be safely resolved automatically without needing a third party. I think it needs a lot of improvement. First of all, centralized management and scalability can be improved, particularly the ability to manage endpoint configuration, which would be more helpful for my field of work. Regarding scalability, centralized deployment and policy enforcement can help maintain consistency across larger device fleets without configuring every endpoint individually. I think another improvement would be detailed failure diagnostics, flexible maintenance scheduling, controlled policy rollouts, and clearer reporting on whether the fix will cause any issues.

Helpful smart automation and tracking that can be used with minimal adjustments
This is a recording system, and it's an automation system. It's very smart. I use it with minimal adjustments needed. The focus is on test management. Everything can be tracked from asset management. Asset management offers many facilities. It doesn't require additional training for ManageEngine or technicians. Assets are simply reported from the dashboard, indicating where IT is missing, where compliance is mentioned, or where action is needed, with driver updates. All facilities are available in the enterprise edition, allowing users, customers, or any organization to easily obtain their referred insights. Anyone can easily install it. There are no handbells. An app provides instructions, with documentation available. Sometimes, IT issues arise like fraud blocking or service-related problems. Upon facing an issue, feedback is integrated, and the solution is provided from their end. This is a very IT-friendly solution. We get LiveSat and IT management. Facilities are accessible, like exporting the installation folder, making the migration process easy. Failover or redundancy can occur within two to five hours, making it scalable. This is a very stable solution.

"Ivanti Autonomous Endpoint Management has positively impacted my organization because I used this tool in my previous project, and it is useful for security purposes."

Cons

"Automation Anywhere can improve the product in potential areas of improvement with respect to automation and AI."
"We run these bots in multiple environments from staging to development to production. We find usually in the production environment when we run the bots for them to be stable for a week or two. After a week or two, we see some glitches here and there, though the application doesn't change much. This is one feature which I want Automation Anywhere to work on: Increasing stability."
"It is negative right now. What we are expecting, for one bot creation, is a six-month turnaround for getting ROI, but that is only the developer man-hour versus actual time saved."
"Most clients use systems which use old Java versions, trying to automate on these systems is really difficult since most features/commands are not supported."
"I have been using IQ Bot, and its accuracy can be improved. It could be more accurate."
"We are not getting consistent behavior from the tool We would like to see this improved and the product more stable."
"It is a bit wonky with HTML when I'm working with it. There are times when it's not able to detect the technology that we are using. I don't know whether it's an Automation Anywhere issue or an internal issue. I want it to work smoothly with more technologies."
"Extracting customer addresses from Google that are not in a standard URL format is a challenge for Automation Anywhere."
"The price being quite high and the limited container storage are areas that have room for improvement."
"The integration between the MobileIron and Advanced Neurons isn't completely in sync, and we're still working on that."
"It was not an easy initial setup for us. It was a bit difficult and not really straightforward."
"Ivanti Neurons for UEM could be improved by providing training on the dashboard, which could help users understand better how they can get more out of the platform."
"UI needs an upgrade, feels very outdated."
"Proper communication of licensing could be improved, ensuring it is clear and understandable for anyone to use the product."
"The MDM, asset management, and software spend management are areas that could have more improvement in Ivanti Neurons for MDM."
"Ivanti Patch could be improved with better integration with other cloud solutions."
"The asset management tool is costly compared to other tools in the market."
"The engineering area needs improvement."
"Currently, we are having some challenges in managing assets. We are still managing them in Excel sheets and keeping a track of them outside the system."
"I hope it includes barcode features, as barcode scanning and MacAdes cannot currently be mapped with this field."
"Responses from ManageEngine should be faster."
"It requires some development to be better, more comfortable, and usable, enhancing customer satisfaction."
"I would love to see a digital adoption feature or guide that navigates first-time users through the application, as it is quite complex with many relevant and irrelevant elements."
"It would be helpful if there were a premium technician license that includes all the suites, eliminating the need to buy separate licenses for each feature."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Annually, we are paying almost one million reais."
"The price is a little bit high but the support is good."
"I don't know exactly what the pricing schemes are for the product as this type of negotiation is not my responsibility, but I think the basic pricing comes to $15,000."
"The cost of this solution is a little bit high, but it is worth the price."
"Automation Anywhere is somewhat expensive. The prices are slightly higher, but if you need something, you must pay for it."
"We're on a license package with Automation Anywhere (AA), paid yearly. What would be better is for them to have different packages for different types of organization."
"Automation Anywhere is competitive... Pega is somewhat comparable, but Pega also requires a lot more infrastructure and a lot more experience to get up and running."
"The product’s pricing is reasonable."
"For the one that works with SCCM, it is relatively inexpensive at $8 USD per node, yearly. The standalone product has two versions; the one that patches servers is about $45 USD annually and the version that patches workstations is about half that price at $22 USD."
"My impression is that MobileIron is very expensive."
"The solution is expensive compared to other products."
"While the price is a bit high, it may be equitable with the features one gets with the product, such as that involving the interface."
"The price of MobileIron UEM is very good."
"The license can get expensive if you have a lot of nodes."
"The solution is affordable."
"Its price is reasonable, but I wish it was lower."
