Provides detection logic that tells us which customer will record an update and is less expensive than other solutions
I haven't had experience with customer service and support, however, we did have an advisory case with one of their technical support staff. We were publishing and getting the full metadata for the patch. We were getting the full updates for the patch release. There was confusion as to why we were seeing that in the SCCM, instead of in the full metadata patch. The support person was able to help us in understanding what we were doing wrong, highlighting it could be a certificate issue. We generated a new certificate, and after they were applied, the issue was fixed. Overall, I would rate their customer service and support a five out of five.

The solution supports patching not only Microsoft products but also non-Microsoft products, which is beneficial for me. It also helps in updating custom applications I use from a point-of-sale perspective. The software covers platform security and application security, ensuring everything is updated at the endpoint level. Automated patch deployment is used for all Active Directory servers. I have automated testing for patches by Microsoft and verify the status via email notifications. After a week, the automation process is applied to all activated servers to ensure upgrades and patches are implemented.

"Patching over the Internet should be improved."
"The solution's UI is an area that requires improvement."
"The cloud version should have option to add all the endpoints using the agent. Not only for Windows, but also the Linux version. There are some versions which are not compatible with SaaS Manager. So some customers do not want to use the latest version of Linux latest version of CentOS. Actually, CentOS is not available. But some are using and patch manager is compatible for some versions only, not older older versions. So there are some pros and cons that are referred to patch management."
