ManageEngine Patch Manager Plus needs a user-friendly interface, improved support, enhanced speed, and expanded compatibility for comprehensive efficiency.
Qualys Patch Management needs better integration, accuracy, and support, faster deployments, and improvements in interface, reporting, and pricing.
When the patch testing works well, there is no need for patch management rollbacks.
Instead of separate technician licenses for each product, there should be a single bundled license to simplify licensing requirements.

A quite straightforward solution that works easily with different operating systems
Scalability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten. When the use of the solution for customers grows, there is a need for more endpoints, and it may grow up to 500 endpoints, and the solution's use may even be scaled up further. It is possible to do what is needed to scale up the solution for the IT environments of any of our company's customers. Before scaling up, one needs to buy the license and consider the IT architecture to see if there are any modifications required in the solution. Around three of my company's customers who manage enterprise-sized businesses with a minimum requirement of 700 endpoints at least use the solution.

Qualys Patch Management system requires several improvements. Firstly, the inability to download asset patches and the lack of third-party application integration limit patch accessibility. Additionally, rollback options are unreliable, and pre-deployment patch testing is crucial. Reporting needs enhancement, particularly with group-based compliance percentages and clearer, VMDR-like reporting in the Patch Management module. Furthermore, detection speed should be improved, as patches are released 24 hours after QIDs are published. The user interface could be more functional, with dashboards for patch compliance visualization and simplified error code language. Finally, the Mac patch catalogue needs expansion, and automated workflows, policy enforcement, and testing procedures should be streamlined for seamless, user-independent operation.
