The product has a user-friendly UI, and it provides good support, but it is expensive and difficult to setup
We are partners with the product. We use it for end-to-end automation. We can automate server-based and web-based applications. We can also do continuous integration and continuous delivery It is a low-code/no-code automation tool. The UI is user-friendly. It supports web-based and browser-based…

Offers good stability and robust but lacks generative AI capabilities
Technical support is equally very important. If you talk about anything deployed to production, and the project is live, customers are using that, and they might face some issues, some functional issues. That's when support people play a role in identifying the fix or the incident. Based on that, we create an incident based on the customer defect or whatever. Once the incident gets raised, the support will play a role in working on that particular incident. If it's a code-based incident, administration, or integration issue, support people play a big role in resolving those issues before reaching the exact developers.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable of this solution is the no code option. It offers drag and drop when it comes to development and removes the need for a developer."
"The UI is user-friendly."
"It provides automated testing. Instead of us doing manual testing, we can utilize Leapwork, and it tests most of our critical processes. In the next phase, we also plan to do some process work with it, such as using Leapwork to create reports or provide certain extracts of data."
"Anyone can use LEAPWORK because it is a no code solution that removes the need for a developer."
"As a testing tool, it is great; it does exactly what we need it to do, and it is very robust in the number of features that you could support for testing."
"Sauce Labs is the best out there, beating their competitors because of its price, customer support, and an amazing forum where you can ask and get answered really quickly."
"This product is a big time-saver, so by extension, it's a cost-savings."
"The insights section provides a great overall state of the automation suite and can identify trends relatively quickly."
"Running tests in parallel on Sauce Labs definitely saves time and effort."
"Sauce Labs support has been very helpful, and they are always friendly, even when it's not always a direct problem with their service or our usage of it."
"The beyond convenience to test websites and applications on any platform necessary."
"Has freed up huge amounts of time managing integrations."
"Sauce Labs is one of the smoothest products we've integrated with and currently use."

Cons

"The initial setup is difficult."
"It is a very comprehensive tool, and there is a significant learning curve to being able to adopt the tool. Because it does so much, there is only so much that you can learn. You can, however, do some simpler things right away. They do have a kind of boot camp where some of their experts engage with you, and during that time, you can work on the top initiatives that you want to do, and that's a good process. After you start using the tool, there is a lot more that you would want to do."
"The only thing that I don't like about the product is the need to deploy agents on the laptops of people doing the testing."
"The only thing that I don't like about the product is the need to deploy agents on the laptops of people doing the testing. So, you have an agent on a server, then you have an agent on the laptop of the person who is doing the testing, and that seems like a lot of stuff and a kind of anti-cloud. Why do I have to deploy agents on people's machines in order to do something in the cloud? I'm sure they're doing that so they can monitor their licensing and all that stuff, but it is not necessarily a friendly process."
"This solution could be improved by offering better reporting related to the integration into Azure DevOps."
"This solution could be improved by offering better reporting related to the integration into Azure DevOps."
"Playback needs improvement."
"Yes, the parallelization is not possible now when cucumber and junit are used together."
"User account management needs an overhauls, allowing for user groups rather than just a hierarchy structure."
"They still have very slow support and ask many excessive questions before starting to fix the issue."
"When we were in development, it was a bit of a pain because we have onshore and offshore development."
"Latency, due to Sauce Labs being a cloud-based solution, has been a concern. We work in different continents and countries, but last time I checked, Sauce Labs was only offering two data centers, one in the EU and another in the US."
"The main interface, although clean, is sometimes very slow to load on slower connections and selecting a machine and waiting for it to boot up the environment takes a lot longer than other products I have used."
"Progress towards reducing application testing time can be made."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The product is not cheap."
"We got a deal on it for the first year. We're paying $8,000."
"Cost-wise, it's decent. If you have to get the base version out of it, it's the best solution to go with. As compared to other cloud service providers, the pricing of Sauce Labs is decent."
"We pay for a specific number of VMs."
"We did initially go with Sauce Labs because of the pricing and integration."
"Try the free trial and work with a Sauce Labs representative to see what package works best for your application(s)."
"The pricing is reasonable due to the amount of diversity that they provide. However, I feel they might be more flexible to bargain based on their relationship with our organization."
"It could be less like pay-per-use with a lower rate."
"Trial the product and see if it suits your needs."
"The number of concurrent VMs that Sauce Labs provides depends on your purchase license level."
