A rigid product that is hard to customize, has no mobile app, and is rarely updated by the vendor
There is no mobile application. The product is unmoving, as there is no obvious development or enhancements being made. When we are trying to compete in a market we need an updated product. The product is not easily customizable and we have to depend on the reseller for that. It's a rigid product. There are no reports available.

Unified customer journeys have boosted analytics-driven sales and simplified global implementations
Analytics features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are good. When we are implementing chatbot and Co-pilot with Microsoft Dynamics CRM on their Omni-channels where we have to analyze all the incoming data coming from different multiple social media platforms, WhatsApp, Facebook, or anything else, and then create proper reporting on the dashboard with proper analytical reports using analytics. It is good, but sometimes it is laggy or crashy or just hangs. Sometimes it does lag and is a little bit buggy. But it works most of the time very fine, but sometimes it gets laggy. I think that might be an issue of the API link being down or something like that, but sometimes it takes time to get the graphs ready. However, it is a very good option where I personally design dashboards using mostly pie charts and bar charts for the client side. I can give a proper generic report to the clients and for pre-sales in multiple projects that I have done. It is a very good selling point for the clients. We can know how many clients we are having and how much data flow we are having. We can explain to them from which channel and where they are getting the higher footsteps into their business, whether it is their social media accounts, their website, or their walk-in customers. The analytics part is a very good helpful part as well because this is the main thing that interests mostly the top tier management of any company. The management can see the complete sales, what the profit is, what the quarterly profit is, what the investment is, what the stock left is, and all those things that we can manage here. Specifically we were working on a Telco project for Malaysia for a Telco company. We created them a complete product catalog on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. The product catalog was handling it very well as we were creating multiple small configurations of the business rules such as this promotion going on for the airtime and this promotion going on for products. The management was able to see that a certain age group of people were interested and what age group wanted what type of cellular products. It is a very helpful tool as well.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"Stability-wise, it is working fine with no technical faults."
"Our clients appreciate that the solution can be used to monitor everything their customer interacts with in their business."
"The most valuable features of Microsoft Dynamics CRM are all the filters and possible reports."
"The way it effectively works with the array of other Microsoft tools, such as Azure, is valuable. It works very well with the use of data linking and things like that. Overall, it is a great overall tool to have an effective understanding of the transactional background of each of our customers."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM was more reliable than Spiceworks, which is what caused us to switch."
"The most valuable features are the integration capabilities with other third-party software. It has an easy user interface and in terms of security, it has permission-based access for different users."
"The most valuable feature is that because this solution uses the cloud, you only have to install it and allocate it to a user, making it quite easy to use."
"Microsoft Team allows for a very dynamic workflow and integrates well with other Microsoft platforms."
"The integration with the Microsoft suite, such as Office 365 and SharePoint, offers significant benefits for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, as ninety percent of organizations are already on the Microsoft suite, leading to quick integration and system setup."

Cons

"There are no reports available."
"My advice is not to waste time implementing this product."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is operational enough, in terms of frequency, but an area for improvement would be its dashboard. Currently, it's widget-like, so hopefully, it could be improved, particularly to allow you to create a custom dashboard using a query. A custom dashboard would make the solution better and is an additional feature I'd like to see in the next release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM because right now, it only has a default dashboard, but maybe my account has limited access, so I can only see the default version of the dashboard."
"The installation was difficult. I'm not the person that implements the solution. However, to have the solution function in the correct way, the process can be difficult."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM could improve by being more user-friendly and having a better design."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM can improve the integration with the other system. If they have more flexibility to connect with another system it will be more effective."
"The annual license for Microsoft Dynamics CRM could be reduced, it is expensive."
"Overall, the solution has the same functionalities as other CRMs such as Salesforce, but Salesforce is much simpler to use. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is complicated to use, and this is another area for improvement."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM can improve by having integration with Slack. Additionally, the solution is incomplete, and we must use other solutions to fulfill our needs."
"The performance could be improved."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"We are paying for a subscription."
"The solution is open source and is free. However, it does require a Dynamics 365 subscription."
"Pricing for this software could be cheaper."
"I give the price of the solution an eight out of ten."
"I rate the solution's pricing as a seven out of ten."
"It's kind of pricey. It's about $50 or $60 per user."
"There is a license required to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM."
"Microsoft Dynamics CRM is an expensive solution. However, most good CRMs are expensive."
"My organization pays for the license, and I do not know how much it costs."
