Provides end-to-end accounting and finance module at reasonable pricing
365 Business Central integrates with Office 365 to streamline the invoice approval process. This allows businesses to manage and approve invoices efficiently within a unified system. Our organization plans to transition to the Dynamics 365 environment, where various functions will be centralized. We will consolidate everything into one system instead of maintaining multiple databases for each country with local data. Dynamics 365 is fully integrated, which should address many of our challenges when we migrate to this new environment. We look forward to seeing how it performs in practice. The project is progressing well overall, though integrating it with other tools and ensuring Dynamics 365 operates smoothly can be challenging. Dynamics 365 is user-friendly and effective. However, a deeper understanding of its technical capabilities and architecture might be necessary to optimize its use fully. The software landscape is evolving, and achieving the best reporting and functionality with just a click can be complex. A clear vision of what you want to achieve with Dynamics 365 is essential. Proper preparation and configuration are crucial to achieving the desired outcomes. This principle applies not only to Dynamics 365 but to all software packages. Understanding the system's flexibility and adaptability based on your specific business needs is key to its successful implementation. Overall, I rate the solution an eight out of ten.

Fully integrated modules enhance seamless data interaction and real-time decision-making
SAP Business One is easy to use and fully integrated from top to bottom, from vertical to horizontal. Any transaction we are doing in any module is directly integrated with finance. Each and every transaction and report is updated at the same time. This is one of the main benefits of SAP Business One. During a transaction in the sales module, it doesn't have to wait for finance to do posting before it gets updated. Financial transactions are posted at the same time. The general ledger, balance sheet, trial balance, cash flow statement, and all other reports are updated simultaneously. There is no need to wait for any posting or report preparations. Each transaction impacts every report and relevant module at the same time. SAP Business One is one of the best solutions for real-time access to all data. Whenever any transaction is posted, it's immediately available in other modules and relevant reports. This provides real-time access in any module and any report.

Quotes from Members

Pros

"The most important feature of Microsoft Dynamics NAV is that it lets us centralize all our information so that we don't need to rely on any other software outside of Microsoft."
"All of the features are valuable, depending on where you implement them. I've done implementations in 60 countries, across 86 different companies and groups, and each company has a different reason for why they want to use it. Every single feature that I've implemented has been successful, and for some companies, where they didn't use the functionality, they have moved to external products or they've integrated into other applications."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is the Teams application. I use Teams to share documents amongst my team members, have meetings, and talk to them."
"The customer support is good. The first level of support agent in every case was able to solve the problem very quickly."
"The initial setup is easy - because it stands on Microsoft offerings, it's simple and intuitive to use."
"The most valuable feature of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is using the Excel sheets on Chrome and other applications."
"It is easy to use, and it works very well for small-scale companies."
"Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is extremely stable as it does not rely on our in-house servers."
"The document search feature is very good."
"What's most helpful to customers who use SAP Business One is that the solution is fully integrated and easy to use. It's very easy to digest and has many features for small to medium companies."
"It's user-friendly and comes with comprehensive manuals. So, it is easy to learn to use SAP Business One"
"So there are a lot of features included with the ERP system."
"For us, the most useful feature of Business One is Material Requirements Planning (MRP)."
"We bought all licenses for the whole package in the very beginning, and now we're just paying for 404 licensed maintenance. It's a standard fee. Of course, we still pay partners for implementation."
"The most valuable features of SAP Business One are user-friendliness, ease of use, visibility, and flexibility. Customizing the solution is simple."
"The solution offers a structured view and is useful for the top management. The top management finds it organized and structured. It is stable and gives you fewer headaches as an IT manager."

Cons

"There is room for improvement in terms of compatibility."
"They need to improve their processes."
"There is a book for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central explaining how to use it. But it is not easy to use, and it is not easy to learn."
"I am hoping there is more integration with other platforms, more features, and customization in the next release."
"I wouldn't say that Microsoft Dynamics is very scalable."
"I work in Pakistan, and many people want desktop solutions. They don't want to work on the cloud. They want a strictly on-premises solution."
"The reporting tool has room for improvement."
"The configuration packages can be somewhat tiresome at times, and they can be slow when loading data."
"There could be enhancements in plant maintenance, quality assurance, and HR management features."
"While SAP has been a leader in the enterprise and SME segments, many competitors have emerged with new features, especially in analytic modules like Salesforce and Oracle. The rise of cloud tools from providers like Amazon, Google, and Azure, offering analytics and visual analytical tools, has contributed to this shift. It seems SAP Business One may not have focused as much on this aspect, prioritizing the basic functioning of the enterprise. As a result, the latest user experience, particularly in digital aspects of data consumption, may not be on par with what's available in the market."
"The production scheduling, manufacturing, and planning could improve in SAP Business One. Additionally, the projection management module could improve. These functionalities are important in the construction industry we are working in at the moment."
"There are limitations around integrations."
"We would like a mobile version of this for sales exhibits, etc. We would also like more personalization features to personalize it for our organization."
"We don't have the functionality of the supply chain and mobile applications."
"The solution's CRM module can be made better."
"Lacks an advanced HR model with payroll."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The deployment cost us $70,000 and we pay around $18,000 annually for support, which we find to be expensive."
"The on-premises model of Dynamics NAV is very expensive, hence our plan to migrate to Dynamics 365 Business Central, which appears to fit our needs better in terms of pricing. Compared to competitors, the cloud version of Dynamics is in the middle; not too high and not too low."
"There is an annual cost of using Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The cost is approximately 140,000 INR."
"The price of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is reasonable. We pay monthly for the use of the solution."
"We have an agreement with Microsoft and pricing is okay for us."
"The first time we tried to buy the newest version, it was expensive."
"The per user price of $100 a month is better than competitors."
"I give the solution a seven out of ten for pricing."
"I rate the solution's pricing a six or seven out of ten since it is expensive."
"In terms of price, it's fair, but the problem is with AMC."
"The price of SAP Business One is reasonable."
"The price of SAP Business One is not expensive for the features and the benefits it provides."
"Its licensing model is good. There is a one-off payment for the software license, and after that, you only need to pay the annual maintenance fee. Compared to other cloud-based systems, this cost model is quite reasonable for SMEs."
"We are on a perpetual license for SAP Business One and the price it should be less expensive when comparing it to other solutions."
"SAP has a high cost of licensing."
"We recently acquired the license, so we are using the latest version."

They need modules like Production planning & Scheduling, Quality management, adv' inventory optimization, Shoop floor control, Supplier management, Adv' warehouse, Inbound and outbound logistics and so on. Look at e10x-ERP (educe10x.com). Built natively for the cloud, connects using a browser, and no need for hefty hardware installations, etc. e10x-ERP is focused on SMB manufacturing companies and has a suite of modules that will fit your requirements. The modules include attendance and payroll which most other ERPs do not offer as standard. Also, integrated with WhatsApp Business (for auto reports, auto messages to customers, suppliers, etc), email, trigger, and event-based reports, integrated with GST (ASP).
