Robust data protection has safeguarded mailboxes and disaster recovery for our clients
NAKIVO Backup & Replication has released many updates lately and at this point it works excellently. Needs will always appear, particularly around the AI topic and other things that come out over time. I understand that solutions always have to keep moving forward, but so far I see it as excellent.I give it a nine because nothing is perfect. There are always solutions, and NAKIVO Backup & Replication is a tool that adapts perfectly to certain needs. However, we cannot dismiss that there are powerful solutions on the market that have been around for much longer. I rate it a nine because we can always improve.

Trustworthy and provides good availability
Our administrator found the solution easy to use, but once that administrator left, it felt very overwhelming to the individual who took it over. It could be more of a knowledge transfer situation that didn't happen, but we didn't know if it was easy to use. Precisely Assure QuickEDD is deployed on the cloud in our organization. The implementation of QLED helped us with our recovery time objective and was a seamless transition. In order to utilize the product to its fullest potential, users should be knowledgeable of what it offers. They should also form a relationship with the person who is their representative. Overall, I rate the solution an eight or nine out of ten.

"We can offer an affordable and reliable backup solution to our customers."
"Nakivo has improved our organization largely due to the fact that it is an extremely robust backup system and comes with a replication module that allows us to safeguard mission-critical servers, applied on several sites by us with fantastic results as it becomes a great Plan B in case of a hardware failure or an outage of a primary system."
"The enterprise version is a solid product with good support, a lot of features, and a helpful knowledge base."
"This product has a very clean and intuitive GUI."
"It is affordable."
"Synchronous applications are valuable."

Cons

"I give it a nine because nothing is perfect."
"Space is always an issue and we try to backup just the files in certain folders, which the users are aware of."
"In the loading of a backup, choosing what to restore seems to be a lengthy process, but it has always worked in my restore tests."
"Recently, I found out about one disadvantage of the NAKIVO agent that works on physical servers; they certified that they do not have a block tracking mechanism for physical Windows servers, so if a server is huge, say several terabytes, it cannot perform incremental backups and reads all the drives each time, which has left several of my customers suffering from this issue."
"We'd like to see more cooperation with Synology. It can be enhanced to get updates published faster to Synology's store."
"While the solution provides mostly what we need, it would be ideal if there were some additional feature capabilities for the API."
"It would be interesting if it were possible to integrate a mobile app to monitor the system in real-time."
"Log and report creation can be improved."
"It is expensive. The cost varies based on your requirements."
"Our administrator found the solution easy to use, but once that administrator left, it felt very overwhelming to the individual who took it over."
