Good support, nice interface, and simple to upgrade
PDF format is not available for Alert Composer. There are file attachment or body content output options. The other issue is that the range object can be displayed in the rule viewer section. If we know the range object, we provide imaging, but if we do not know the range object, there is no imaging. It also allows adding range object rules when performing server cloning. In general, however, we have made successful progress since the POC process.
Vulnerability control saves audit costs and reduces expenses for organizations
Tufin Orchestration Suite is not commonly used in Thailand due to a lack of local support, and many customers are switching to AlgoSec or other vendors. The analytics features of Tufin Orchestration Suite are challenging to use and require technical expertise, which is a concern as there is not much knowledge in this field in Thailand. The issue of technical knowledge, especially regarding English language proficiency, is significant for government and some companies, making Tufin Orchestration Suite harder to use.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The platform is easy to deploy and maintain."
"Version upgrades can be done quickly."
"Tufin is our audit trail for all changes, and we have to be PCI compliant, and it is the tool that we go to for enforcing PCI on the network side."
"The visibility is huge. In order to figure out what was going on previously, we would have to pull stuff out of firewalls and put them in spreadsheets, then do sorts. Now, it's all right there in Tufin. We can write reports to look for what we need, ad hoc searches to find object groups, and know which firewalls are on. This was almost impossible to do previously."
"From an operational excellence, it's huge for us."
"Having one vendor for both TOS operating system and TSS application makes it much easier to form relationships with Tufin sales, engineering and support, and improves product maintenance."
"The most valuable feature is the ability it gives us to browse our entire infrastructure and easily find which rules match our policies."
"The biggest and most important benefit is that it addresses the weaknesses of our internal customers."
"The most valuable features are the GUI interface and the API."
"We use Tufin to clean up our firewall policies, which makes it a lot easier to find out the things that are wrong and remove things which shouldn't be there."

Cons

"PDF format is not available for Alert Composer."
"The product's web page view is very basic. They could add new features to it."
"I come more from the WAN space as opposed to the security space, so I would obviously like to see Tufin integrate with Cisco routers. There's room for more integrations with other products."
"Sometimes, it'll freak out and cause everything else to stay and be unable to get configed, then our Palo Alto products will sort of cease, usually a good majority of them, which is not ideal."
"Tech support is very bad. I would give a zero rating to tech support."
"We need another way to use Tufin without the administration rights."
"It would be better if Tufin could integrate with the Cisco routers, FireEye, and other devices like that, so you can do the routing changes and so on straight from SecureChange."
"Their pricing can be better. It is not very transparent."
"It's not a very stable product. It doesn't stay up as often as I would like."
"More integrations is something that I would like to see in the future."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Opinnate is inexpensive than other products."
"Tufin makes things a little easier. It lessens the amount of manual work which we have to do. It has a lot of benefits in terms of revenues, profits, employee costs, and operational costs. We have already seen return on investment."
"For us it's around $40,000 or so."
"The price of Tufin could be lower."
"Our licensing costs are three million total and then we pay for maintenance, which is an additional cost for three years."
"I had a bad experience with the financial department, and the price is too high. The software does work and does the job. The solution is worth the money. If I had a different partner to implement the solution, it would have been worth the price."
"The solution has helped reduce the time it takes us to make changes. It helps make overall integrated changes immediately. It allows us to cut down at least a few hours in the week in regards to changes and monitoring."
"We are seeing ROI in terms of having SecureApp."
"Because we're quite a large company, the price wasn't too much of a factor for us."
