Sentiment score
6.1
PeopleSoft offers cost-efficient ROI, maintained with minimal resources, outperforming costlier systems like Oracle and SAP in user satisfaction.
It is time-saving in payroll processing.
The ROI is more about easing operations rather than quantifiable metrics.

Customer Service

Sentiment score
5.9
Oracle HCM Cloud customer service offers quick responses but needs improvement in issue resolution and technical support quality.
Sentiment score
4.5
PeopleSoft's customer service is satisfactory, but users desire quicker, more detailed support, especially for complex issues and upgrades.
I have been facing an issue with Journeys, and I had raised a couple of SRs, but unfortunately, there has been no solution until now.
Oracle provides robust technical support, with regular updates every six months or quarterly.
Oracle's technical support is generally satisfactory yet lacks flexibility and rapid response times.
If a customer designs custom applications and encounters issues, PeopleSoft will not provide service for those custom applications.

Scalability Issues

Oracle HCM Cloud is praised for seamless scalability, allowing effortless growth management and seamless user onboarding for various business sizes.
Sentiment score
7.6
PeopleSoft is scalable and adaptable, excelling in performance and integration, though complex applications may pose challenges.
You can't scale HCM on Fusion Cloud as a standalone service.
This rating reflects the limitation that custom applications do not receive support.

Stability Issues

Sentiment score
7.5
Oracle HCM Cloud stability varies, with many users finding it reliable, though some experience glitches and occasional downtime.
Sentiment score
7.4
PeopleSoft is valued for its stability, consistent performance, customization, and quick resolution of rare bugs, despite minor issues.
While I have not seen any downtime, the system can be slow at times.
Small issues take maximum one to two hours to resolve, while major issues take up to 12 hours.

Room For Improvement

Enhancements needed for UI, integration, payroll, data processing, customization, training, cost reduction, and recruitment functionalities.
PeopleSoft needs improvements in mobile UI, technical support, integration capabilities, and customization complexity, while enhancing performance and design.
Instead of uploading documents, a default integration with local government authorities would simplify onboarding.
Standardizing the exposure of functionalities within the application as external interfaces could enhance integration capabilities.
Professionals are transitioning due to challenges in availability, scalability, and resource allocation.

Setup Cost

Oracle HCM Cloud offers competitive pricing with discounts, though it may be costly for SMEs; negotiate for optimal costs.
PeopleSoft's pricing is high and variable, with significant costs for licensing, setup, customization, and ongoing support.
Oracle HCM Cloud pricing is a bit expensive compared to newer solutions.
Licensing costs were also a consideration, particularly regarding contractors.
The pricing is not bad, however, it is not affordable for everyone, especially in Africa.

Valuable Features

Oracle HCM Cloud is praised for its modern UI, analytics, HR functions, mobile access, and seamless updates enhancing productivity.
PeopleSoft excels in customization, integration, and scalability, offering user-friendly features for HR, finance, payroll, and comprehensive analytics.
The integration capabilities of Oracle HCM Cloud are valuable, particularly its support for managing global HR operations, including absence management, talent management, employee recruitment, and performance evaluations.
For Core HR, all the UI has been changed from different, responsive to Redwood.
This makes operations easier, and Oracle has excelled in this area with Fusion Explorer.
It aids me from an auditing perspective, as it's all system-driven, and cannot be altered.
It provides the easiest way to integrate with third-party applications for data exchange between systems.

Saves time through transclusion - using a single record across multiple modules
The most valuable feature is the module integration, which saves time through transclusion - using a single record across multiple modules. The user interface has improved significantly. The current client redesigns work centers per subsidiary business unit, making navigation more intuitive and easier for end users. Reporting and analytics capabilities have greatly improved.
