Industry-standard stack enables better load handling for large-scale companies
With Taleo, I experience two limitations. First, it only supports soft calls with a daily limit, which is a concern. The other limitation is that it feels outdated, and I cannot compare certain things or implement some automations that require a lot of manual intervention when initiating, generating, and calculating offers.

Moving to a cloud-based employee portal has improved experience but user interface requires attention
I am currently handling SAP sub-modules, particularly in HR. I interface with SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Goals and Performance, and Talent Moving from an in-house developed employee self-service portal to a cloud-based internet solution is an improvement for us.…

Pros

"Oracle Taleo's integration capabilities are good."
"The product's stability is good."
"The Talent Acquisition and Headhunting features are good."
"The product remains stable, and Oracle is investing further to improve and enhance it."
"Performance and goal management are good to have, based on certain client requirements where the user base isn't too large, but the most workable domain of Taleo is the recruiting module."
"The solution's most valuable features are the OCR, single source of truth, and simplicity of the workflows."
"The stability of the solution is good."
"The overall functionality of the solution is very good."
"In terms of user experience, it is quite good."
"There were no major technical issues or downtimes reported with SAP SuccessFactors."
"It's very user-friendly."
"SAP SuccessFactors is a stable solution."
"I hardly ever encounter any stability issues, as SAP SuccessFactors is very good and stable."
"SAP SuccessFactors, in my opinion, is the best cloud-based HR solution tool for any size business."
"The SuccessFactors learning applications within the SuccessFactors learning modules, as well as the performance management system, are highly beneficial for each and every employee in our organization. These tools eliminate the need for using Excel to manage data, allowing for direct input into the system. This streamlines the process, making it easier to view and analyze information. We can readily access our performance history, comparing our actions and achievements from the previous year. At present, we are consistently monitoring our day-to-day performance."

Cons

"There are always going to be little caveats here and there that you might not have known about as far as changes are concerned, however, it's not business-oriented to the point where the business shuts down."
"The bulk recruitment feature does not work well."
"It only supports soft calls with a daily limit, which is a concern."
"With Taleo, I experience two limitations. First, it only supports soft calls with a daily limit, which is a concern. The other limitation is that it feels outdated, and I cannot compare certain things or implement some automations that require a lot of manual intervention when initiating, generating, and calculating offers."
"The pricing could be improved."
"Lacks some systems that we need."
"It would be beneficial if Oracle Taleo included AI-based CV screening, rather than just keyword matches."
"Oracle Taleo felt a bit outdated, and we didn't use it for every step of the candidate process. We mainly used it to track job IDs, create job requisitions, and add candidates when making an offer. It wasn't very user-friendly for moving candidates through different stages of the recruitment lifecycle."
"The GUI needs to be enhanced to be in line with the latest and complete version of the solution."
"Language settings in the solution need to be improved."
"The stability could be a bit better."
"One area for improvement is making SuccessFactors more compatible with other countries, especially in terms of payroll and other functionalities."
"The user experience and interface are not user-friendly."
"There is room for improvement in licensing model."
"The Reporting/Analytics and User Interface need improvement."
"Some of the screens aren't that user-friendly, older employees especially have a hard time with it. They have some problems with it."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"Oracle Taleo is an expensive solution."
"Whether you pay annually or on some other payment schedule depends on the license model you choose. Typically, clients pay a yearly subscription."
"I have raised change requests for some modules within SuccessFactors. For example, when you're using Recruiting Management, there's a feature called Interview Central you can use to reach the candidates you're interviewing. I wanted to add a writing assessment when I select the competency on that platform. It varies from consultant to consultant, depending on what module they use."
"Our costs for the solution are subsidized by our parent company, I am not aware of the exact cost because of this. However, we pay $50,000 annually. If we move to another solution it will be more expensive."
"It is not cheap, but it is reasonable."
"The product is expensive. The product is worth the money you pay for it."
"The licensing fees are based on the number of modules that are being used, and the number of users."
"The cost of SAP SuccessFactors is reasonable."
"The price of the solution is highly expensive."
"This is a more costly solution than comparable products, and training is not available in the open-market, so this has to be purchased separately from the vendor."
