Cost-effective and provides a good mobile application, but the UI must be more advanced
The solution is similar to Workday. It can be used for employee-related things like timesheets and attendance The timesheets in Paycor are better than those in Workday. The UI must be more advanced. Workday is faster compared to Paycor. I have been using the solution for a couple of months. I…

Decades of use have delivered secure, customizable control for public sector operations and finance
I have just completed three assessments: one on inventory demand planning, another on using artificial intelligence to bring supplier contracts in portable document format directly into PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft works both internally as well as with third-party products that integrate seamlessly with PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft operates both from a need-to-know-only basis as well as being able at the same time to do group purchase and realize large quantity purchase discounts. My clients have used marketplaces, and it is really industry-specific whether they use one or not, or if there is even one available. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

"The most valuable features most important to me are the web solution, the web interface, and the integration with other ECM products."
"The recruiting is most valuable, as it saves time in having easy and fast applicants tracking as well as candidates' contact plus pipeline management."
"The most valuable feature of the solution is its stability."
"It’s a very robust and mature product, and perhaps it’s the first HCM product that came out onto the market."
"PeopleSoft is mostly used for payroll and core HR functionality, and some customers use it for its finance module."
"The technical support is very robust and I am satisfied with it."
"It provides a very stable platform for us to support key applications, including Procure to Pay, HR/Payroll, AP/AR, Fixed Asset, and Financial Reporting."
"A valuable feature is FSCM."

Cons

"The UI must be more advanced."

"There are some small things I'd like changing, but the big thing that needs work is their technical support."
"Upgrades are lengthy and costly."
"Areas for improvement include implementing/upgrading tools and documentation. The Oracle support website can be difficult to navigate."
"PeopleSoft lacks integration capabilities."
"There are many areas in this product that can be improved, especially in regards to the EPM side since they have different products doing that."
"It would be nice if it became even more declarative in its development."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is cost-effective."

"This solution offers annual licensing. We pay per user."
"The product's cost depends on the number of people in your company or the number of paychecks processed. They charge based on these factors, plus a maintenance fee. I'm not sure about current pricing since Oracle took over."
"I don't know if they are still providing licenses or if they have suspending licenses."
"I would rate the pricing an eight out of ten, with ten being expensive."
"The main issue we have with the solution is that it is very expensive."
