Cost-effective and provides a good mobile application, but the UI must be more advanced
The solution is similar to Workday. It can be used for employee-related things like timesheets and attendance The timesheets in Paycor are better than those in Workday. The UI must be more advanced. Workday is faster compared to Paycor. I have been using the solution for a couple of months. I…

Decades of use have delivered secure, customizable control for public sector operations and finance
I have just completed three assessments: one on inventory demand planning, another on using artificial intelligence to bring supplier contracts in portable document format directly into PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft works both internally as well as with third-party products that integrate seamlessly with PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft operates both from a need-to-know-only basis as well as being able at the same time to do group purchase and realize large quantity purchase discounts. My clients have used marketplaces, and it is really industry-specific whether they use one or not, or if there is even one available. I would rate this product nine out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The timesheets in Paycor are better than those in Workday."
"A solid and mature product."
"The most valuable feature of PeopleSoft Procurement is the completely end-to-end integration of the procurement process."
"The most valuable feature of this product is the HR suite; it is the leading vendor for human resources in the market, so for me, the HR and payroll features are the biggest flagship of the PeopleSoft product."
"Very stable in terms of performance and scalability."
"The beauty of using the on-premises solution is having customizations according to business requirements, because business requirements are not always aligned with the out-of-the-box product."
"I like its wide variety and its use in many applications; receivables, payables, general ledger."
"A valuable feature is FSCM."
"There were no issues with stability."

Cons

"The UI must be more advanced."
"We needed to do a lot of integration with third-party applications in order to get the functionality that we needed. The API integration could be better."
"We struggle with release notes."
"I think PeopleSoft should focus on enhancing the tools and the UI, and making it a more updated app as opposed to the old, tiny, older look and feel."
"The UI and user experience are not great, and it's not as feature-rich as today's systems. Furthermore, our implementation does not include all the components we need, like payroll or some other functions."
"Stability is an area where the solution lacks and needs to be improved."
"Oracle PeopleSoft HCM is one of the most expensive systems in the HCM area, so if the organization has budget limitations, then I would not recommend this system."
"If they could provide reports for various organizations, especially global ones. Currently, the report fields are mostly US centric, and do not support other regions."
"PeopleSoft can improve by having proper connectors. It's very difficult to change some interfaces with the other systems."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The tool is cost-effective."
"The tool is expensive."
"One of the cheapest solutions available and also one of the best."
"PeopleSoft has a yearly maintenance fee."
"This solution offers annual licensing. We pay per user."
"Yearly payments are to be made toward the licensing costs of PeopleSoft. PeopleSoft is not very expensive, so I feel it is an affordable product."
"The licensing cost for PeopleSoft is 3,500 per course and the annual subscription fee is 6,500."
"I would consider this to be an expensive product, but the quality justifies it."
"Check all options before a decision is made."
