Offers the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting
We do a lot of analytics and reporting ourselves. We don't necessarily use all the features that Pipedrive provides, but it's very helpful at least. It has streamlined our deal-closing process. We use it for everything. When we create a lead, we put it into Pipedrive. That lead can be converted into an opportunity, which we manage through our whole pipeline. This includes having all data related to the opportunity in one place. Once the deal is closed, we use Pipedrive to follow up on the invoices until they are paid. We also manage sales commissions and payments to our salespeople through Pipedrive.

Useful to access data anytime and helpful in generating reports quickly
Speaking about the product's ability to improve sales processes, I would say that even though the tool offers project management capabilities along with ERP functionalities, my company doesn't use it for project management or HR-related areas. My company majorly uses the tool for finance, logistics, and inventory control. I haven't had the need for my company to not integrate the tool with other products. Though my company uses the product separately, we can export Sage CRM into Excel, after which the data can be integrated with other software products. Though the tool can be integrated with other products, my company doesn't do it because Sage CRM is enough for us. The analytical reporting part of the business product is good. The analytical reporting part of the product is used for financial years, along with the profit and loss reports and inventory reports. For the sales part in our company, we use the analytical reports generated by the product to help the sales people in a region-wise, sales-wise and product-wise manner. In my company, one of the teams will be changing from Sage CRM to Microsoft Dynamics. I recommend the product to others who plan to use it, especially since it is a tool suitable for medium-sized companies and not for enterprise-sized businesses. Medium-sized companies can use the product since it is an economical and reliable tool. I rate the tool a nine out of ten.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature is the ability to create timelines and custom fields."
"The most useful thing is the ability to create multiple pipelines and the flexibility in filtering and reporting."
"The biggest and the best feature is the view that you get when you log in. You have a board like Kanban when you log in, and you've got a column on the left and several other columns that move to the right, depending on where you are in a particular deal. If it's a prospect or someone who is just looking, you move it along the process, and it really helps you keep track of where you are."
"The solution is very stable."
"The usability of the solution is its valuable feature."
"Pipedrive offers a lot of value for the money because it includes e-signature, document generation, CRM, and workflow automation in one not-expensive solution."
"It's very flexible and we can really fit it into our business model."
"The most useful stuff for me is that it's very flexible with all the data structures...Stability-wise, I rate the solution a ten out of ten."
"The solution's technical support is fast to respond."
"We use Sage CRM internally, and we are also a reseller of many Sage products; I use it to record the timesheet for collaborators, and I also use it to record all the opportunities with the customers."
"The Sage Accpac solution has definitely been the most valuable because the finance features are excellent."
"The most valuable feature is the case management system, which allows for the customization of workflows and saving solutions."
"The most useful aspect of Sage CRM is the capability to keep track of each staff member's communication and bill processing activities. The ability to track both customers and employees is a useful tool."
"We have found the solution to be stable."
"Sage CRM is flexible, customizable, and user-friendly."
"The part I like the most is the reporting."

Cons

"The integration possibilities with other systems could be better as well. We use it in connection with Octopus CRM, and there's room for improvement."
"Pipedrive is relatively stable, but the performance is lackluster compared to other solutions in this space."
"You must pay more if you need an additional feature."
"The product is expensive."
"Pipedrive has some weaknesses against Salesforce. The documentation of Pipedrive could improve. They need more qualified documentation because I had to fix my colleague's work to correct the reports because they did not find how they can do it, or develop reports. There are some misunderstandings about how to do reporting."
"We are using the lowest version of it. As we become more sophisticated, we might outgrow the tool, but there are features that are available in the higher-level versions, which I'm unfamiliar with, that might be able to meet the needs we would have in the future. They can maybe add some of the features to the basic version or make it more reasonably priced or free."
"The tool's APIs are challenging. It should also be compliant with HIPAA, FINRA and GLBA. The data centers should be within US so that they are compliant with regulations."
"The form builder works even though it has some shortcomings...Also, the forms don't have the ability to avoid or stop people from signing up if they don't have a corporate email."
"Sage CRM doesn't have a dashboard for dynamic reporting."
"The product could be improved by modernizing the charts and analytics. Additionally, the export features and interactivity of the charts need enhancement."
"I would like Sage to improve their UI."
"The scalability of this solution depends on whether you have a team that can configure it for scale."
"Sage CRM would benefit from improving its interaction with email communication sites and social media platforms in order to gather more leads."
"Its user interface could be better."
"With regards to monitoring the transaction with alerts, it could be better."
"From an improvement perspective, the ability to make modifications to the product needs to be more user-friendly."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"The price of Pipedrive has been reasonable."
"The solution is affordable."
"As of now, the pricing and value are quite good."
"Pipedrive is relatively more affordable than other solutions."
"The product is expensive but provides valuable services."
"On a scale of one to ten, where one is a low price, and ten is a high price, two or three. For us, everything is expensive because this is a startup, but for a normal company, it should be peanuts."
"Pipedrive is the most cost-effective in terms of the balance between cost and features. I would take Pipedrive over HubSpot or Zoho CRM. It's well-positioned on the market."
"We pay $1000 a month for the tool."
"The product is expensive."
"From an African perspective, the solution is relatively expensive."
"We pay for eight core modules and 20 user licenses and this costs us $1500 per year."
"We have a yearly license."
"Though my company has to have a perpetual license per user, there is a need to make annual payments towards the costs attached to the support my organization receives from Sage CRM's technical team."
