Easy to use with flexible reporting, excellent visibility, and solid customer support

The status reporting is the most valuable feature as it's easy to use; it's simple for project managers to enter their information, and the reporting features are very flexible. Planview PPM enables us to create reusable project templates that reflect our project management life cycle. We were able to garner some best practices by using Planview templates, but they are also flexible enough to modify without having to customize the solution. The distinction between ''customize'' and ''configure'' is important here. When it comes to viewing projects and timelines, the solution is excellent. The views are easy to access and highly configurable. The solution provides managers with the insight they need to empower decision-making and help them manage risk, as it allows them to see when projects are over budget and behind schedule. Planview helped to reduce project delays because we can see when they occur and take proactive steps to remedy the situation.

A powerful tool for managing subscriptions within the organization

It's undoubtedly more complex compared to the initial part. It depends on the requirements. You can't categorically say that HubSpot is only suitable for smaller devices; it's adaptable to various needs. Depending on the requirements, you can have a project completed within as little as six months or as long as a few years. It's a flexible solution that can cater to your specific needs. However, it's essential to start from the beginning, designing the screens and pages within HubSpot. It's somewhat similar to building a website but generally more straightforward to use. You need to input the necessary information based on your specific requirements, and it's not limited to a predefined structure. The team initiates the process with what we term as solution design, but it's more appropriately labeled as enterprise design. This initial phase involves understanding the integration points with other systems and commencing the configuration process. It's essentially the starting point for our analysis. The analysis covers several aspects, including the language requirements, integration tools for interfacing with Java server solutions, and how to effectively use these tools. All these components must seamlessly complement each other. Once the team has everything in place and confirms the tools, they can proceed to elaborate on the specific requirements. The deployment timeline typically ranges from four to six months, specifically for straightforward or standard requirements. However, in the case of a large enterprise organization with numerous legal entities across different countries, each requiring unique interfaces for various purposes, the implementation duration is highly dependent on the specific requirements. It's not feasible to provide a fixed period for such a solution.

"I would like to schedule reports. I would like to be able to schedule a report and every Monday it sends that report to these people. That circumvents having to give them a license. It's just a way of saying "Okay, this is what's going on this week," and it just happens. I don't have to worry about it."

I think that will help us a lot because right now a standard group has their own permission and we don't know what permission is getting out to the users. "The pricing for me is more about understanding your own needs in the company because it is one license for one person model. So, you have to really understand how many licenses you need and what may be the influx of your staff. The good thing about Daptiv is that we just need a quick telephone call to our customer success manager if we want to increase our licensing. It takes a day or two to do. So, we can upscale very quickly. We've never downscaled, but I'm guessing if we had to, we'd have to wait till the contract completes or renegotiate a different licensing cost. So, you definitely need to understand what different types of licenses provide from a functionality point of view, and then order 10% more than you need based on the influx of staff in the company. There are costs in addition to the standard licensing fees. We have the report functionality for which we pay separately for 10 hours per month."
