Automation has transformed project and inventory workflows and improves revenue forecasting
The best features QuickBase offers include being a no-code software, meaning it is very easy to use even for new users. It also provides life cycle management, workflow management, and dashboards. The dashboards and workflow management help my team significantly, as they have a drag-and-drop interface and prebuilt templates, which play a pivotal role in creating custom applications. Those features also help provide the ability to manage the entire application life cycle with QuickBase easily. Integration has been very seamless with our overall IT stack. The user interface is very user-friendly and intuitive, which makes it very easy to use, together with the no-code aspect. Any kind of personnel can use this tool easily.

This is a RAD tool to build business apps, tables, and forms.
It needs a desktop version for developers with license type CE. I would like to have the possibility to have a CE that lets me migrate from SQL Server Express, Access, and OpenOffice Base and keep all UI front-end development in just one system. In short, the 6.7 was good enough. The question is: Will there always be a desktop version CE that will let me work with, for example, five users for free, and then start to pay from user six, or in my case, three users? Right now, I do not see WaveMaker in this field, and there are others points to ask for from a desktop.

Quotes from Members

We asked business professionals to review the solutions they use. Here are some excerpts of what they said:

Pros

"The most valuable feature of QuickBase is its dynamic form capabilities. These forms allow backend automation, making tasks like updating data based on specific conditions much easier."
"QuickBase reminds me when a software license or a hardware support contract is near expiration so that I can initiate our company's procurement process in time and not miss a deadline."
"The reporting tool: It helps in data analytics to provide the solution more efficiency."
"Quickbase's fast setup and easy user management makes it a very versatile tool across all disciplines."
"QuickBase has improved our lives in so many ways."
"QuickBase has positively impacted my organization by improving workflows through automation, and I have noticed time saved, fewer errors, and other improvements as specific outcomes or metrics."
"Quickbase system has the ability to process our tickets no matter how many we use a month, working great whether we have a few or up to 200 tickets a month with no problems, and I love the speed and flexibility of this program."
"For a small to mid-level company, managing the work and operation workflow can be built up, this can be excellent and can be used as a backbone to build up the eco-system among the other systems the company might be integrating with."
"It is a Rapid Application Development (RAD) tool to build business apps that lets you work with many diverse data stores and build tables and forms easily."

Cons

"I would like to see more customization functions of the UI. For example, the ability to modify the color of the tool bar and also the ability to use the getting started but customized for end users."
"The mobile app has improved, but it still needs work."
"I do not know if QuickBase has these capabilities because I only participated in building out the flow, the form, and the process flow, but it would be helpful, as someone who would manage the form and the process flow, to build out charts or live dashboards or something similar so people can get information right there of how many requests are submitted and how many are pending to be approved."
". For example, we need a third-party to create and save a document in PDF, MS Word, or MS Excel format. The document saving capability is probably the feature that we most often have to procure from an outside provider."
"I think work flows could use a great improvement."
"They could enhance the ability to link records between tables directly without the need for additional automation to increase space and time."
"Documentation of how to customize beyond the basics is very difficult to find."
"Customer service is great on the weekdays, but almost non-existent on the weekends."
"It needs a desktop version for developers with license type CE."

Pricing and Cost Advice

"It is probably about 300 per license per person. There is just the licensing cost. There are no additional costs."
"Quickbase is probably not the cheapest app out there. That said, it is worth its weight in gold. There is no other app that I know of in the market today that can do what Quickbase does."
"We felt the pricing and licensing for QuickBase were easy enough to understand, fair and competitive."
"The pricing for the tier my company used included ten seats and the subcontractor, amounting to approximately $18,000 USD per year."
"You have to negotiate the price because it varies based on the number of users you have, as well as how much cloud storage space you need."
"The product is cheap when compared to other products."
"The solution is expensive and geared toward enterprise-level clients."
"The pricing for QuickBase is pretty straightforward, It is based on a per user/per month licensing fee."
