When I started, the company had the Precision already in place, and we continued that trend.
IT Technical Lead at a computer software company with 51-200 employees
Has unified our device fleet and improved reliability for both developers and sales teams
Pros and Cons
- "The features of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops that are most valuable to our users, especially for our sales staff, are their lightweight design."
- "If you're looking to unify your devices across your organization, I highly recommend Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops as a partner."
- "Easier contact methods would make it perfect. When using the Dell support page, finding the right information to log a warranty repair can be challenging."
What is our primary use case?
How has it helped my organization?
The benefits my company has seen from using these desktops and laptops include their reliability. They've been excellent and relatively rugged, capable of withstanding impacts. It's important that people have the laptops they need to do their job effectively, and with Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, we achieve that.
What is most valuable?
The features of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops that are most valuable to our users, especially for our sales staff, are their lightweight design. I usually select a 14-inch Latitude for our sales staff since they appreciate how portable and easy it is for travel.
Our developers have different needs as they are more desktop-based, so they receive the heavier Precisions with 15 or 16-inch screens.
For the specifications, I choose the Ultra 7 processor for all types of laptops, with 16 GB of RAM for sales and admin staff using the Latitudes, and 32 GB of RAM for developers with usually one or two terabyte SSD.
What needs improvement?
Easier contact methods would make it perfect. When using the Dell support page, finding the right information to log a warranty repair can be challenging. From what I've seen today with some new features coming out, such as Dell Command where you can see your device in the cloud, it seems to be improving. I need to investigate it further. Currently, the Dell website could improve the process of finding warranty repair information and making initial contact.

For how long have I used the solution?
We've been using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops Precision laptops for developers since I started with the company three years ago.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding stability, our most recent issue was with a Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops Precision 3570. While the device itself remained stable, the SSD failed due to age.
After replacing the SSD and performing a factory reset with Windows reinstallation, it functioned perfectly. The quality of components, including HDMI ports that undergo frequent cable connections, has been reliable.
Overall, stability has been excellent.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
We currently operate on a Device as a Service model, leasing laptops with a nice refresh cycle.
At the beginning of this year, I implemented this system and replaced 53 of our users' laptops. Next year, another batch will be replaced. Having that three-year refresh cycle is brilliant since our users get quality laptops that don't fail. When laptops malfunction, it costs us money because users can't work, which is expensive. Scalability simply involves maintaining these three-year refreshes.
How are customer service and support?
I've only needed to use Dell's support for these devices a handful of times. They have been very responsive, with engineers arriving within a couple of days. They replaced devices without hassle, and I'm very satisfied with their service.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Previously, we used Lenovo laptops for our sales admin. We've moved everything to Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops now with the Latitude series. A BIOS fault caused battery charging issues, requiring factory repairs for about 20 laptops. That experience discouraged me from choosing Lenovo, leading me to select Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops for their reliability.
What was our ROI?
Reliability significantly contributes to our ROI from investing in these desktops and laptops. It saves time and money. The Dell warranty is fantastic, and we've experienced very few failures. When issues occurred, they were resolved under warranty without additional costs. While I cannot provide specific ROI numbers as a one-person operation, the benefits are clear.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing was competitive for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops products through our partnership with Softcat, a Dell reseller.
As a small company of 250 employees with tight budgets, I must carefully select laptop specifications that suit our needs at the right price point. Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops offers an excellent range of price points that allows me to choose what works best for us.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before selecting Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, we considered HP as an option. I chose against HP primarily due to pricing, as Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops offered the same specifications at a better price point. We also considered Lenovo, however, I wasn't interested as, two years ago, we experienced failures with their devices.
What other advice do I have?
If you're looking to unify your devices across your organization, I highly recommend Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops as a partner.
The devices are good, the support is good, and their new management software for BIOS updates and firmware updates is fantastic. It reduces my workload significantly. I run the devices through Intune and Azure, which works smoothly.
Having Dell's services for managing devices frees up my time, which saves money for the company.
I rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops a nine out of ten.
Which deployment model are you using for this solution?
Hybrid Cloud
If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
Microsoft Azure

IT Infrastructure Administrator at a consultancy with 11-50 employees
Reliable work laptop has supported daily tasks and personal activities for many years
Pros and Cons
- "I think Dell Business Laptops are one of my top one or top two options."
- "When I compare it with a Mac that I have, the only thing I can say about Intel or Dell notebooks is that the battery is the main issue, though that is a CPU issue and not necessarily a Dell issue."
What is our primary use case?
It is my daily computer and my work computer. I also use it to handle all other matters, including my personal and work items.
What is most valuable?
One of the main features is that Dell Business Laptops are more heavy resistance and do not have the issues that you have in other lines and versions. Additionally, one of the features that I have had the chance to use a lot is the port replicator that I usually received when I got the new machine, as well as the docking stations.
What needs improvement?
My current machine does not have the pointing device in the middle as the mouse or trackpad. My newest enterprise Dell is probably two years old, so I am still using Windows 10. The camera has very good quality, and the overall quality is very good. However, one of the things that is common in the industry is that all notebooks are becoming less fixable or more tricky. When I compare it with a Mac that I have, the only thing I can say about Intel or Dell notebooks is that the battery is the main issue, though that is a CPU issue and not necessarily a Dell issue. MacBooks are in another level when compared to Dell notebooks. I am very used to working with Windows and have never had problems with that computer, even with the old one that I have had for probably ten years or more, which is still working after some repairs.
I do not have much to complain about. The one that I have now is an i7, so when the CPU is running at high levels, it is a little noisy, or I feel the cooler starting to work.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell Business Laptops for twenty-five years.
How are customer service and support?
Regarding the support here in my country, which is Argentina, and my experience with Dell in recent years, I think Dell is a better option today. I received support locally without problems five years ago for one of the old ones that I still have.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have been using other Lenovos, other Dell models as a home user, and I have also worked with ThinkPad and MacBooks.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I think Dell Business Laptops are one of my top one or top two options. To be honest, if I had to buy a computer for myself, I would probably compare between Dell Business Laptops and Lenovo ThinkPad, not other options. In recent years, based on my experience using them and the support available here in Argentina, Dell Business Laptops is a better option than Lenovo ThinkPad.

IT Administrator at a healthcare company with 51-200 employees
Repairability and responsive support have streamlined our IT maintenance experience
Pros and Cons
- "From the IT admin side, my favorite feature of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is the repairability of the machines, which has always been easy for me and my team."
- "Again, the back-end support was a really huge reason why we stuck with Dell, as it was straightforward to get something fixed back when hardware wasn't as reliable as it is."
- "There are a few areas for improvement in Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops that I would suggest; one is a longer lead on the docking stations, which is primarily causing a lot of people bother at the moment."
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is that our users primarily use them for Outlook, Excel, presentations, and day-to-day office applications.
What is most valuable?
From the IT admin side, my favorite feature of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is the repairability of the machines, which has always been easy for me and my team. For users, it's straightforward, and there are not many complications involved in locating the bits and parts on laptops, the right buttons, keys, and ports. So they've been fairly straightforward.
I have realized some benefits from using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops; previously, the customer support, online support, and phone support were always very good and had a lot of cop-on to it. When we were speaking with your engineers, they knew what was fixable, what wasn't, and didn't have to put me through steps one to ten every single time to fix something. They recognized from the very start they were speaking to someone who knew there was an issue with the laptop, so that has always had a grounding with us and kept us with Dell, specifically the back-end support.
What needs improvement?
There are a few areas for improvement in Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops that I would suggest; one is a longer lead on the docking stations, which is primarily causing a lot of people bother at the moment.
Additionally, a lot of the bloatware that comes with the PC, such as the Optimizer and Dell peripheral applications, are OTT and get in the way rather than help sometimes.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops for about 15 to 20 years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding the stability and reliability of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, my assessment is that they don't fail very often, and the hardware does what I expect it to do. However, I believe some of the software could be removed because I don't need it all the time. Overall, it's a pretty good experience really.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops scale well with the growing needs of my company, as there's always a product that suits the needs of engineers, field sales managers, or executives. There's always something available, and no tech is out there that isn't available on laptops, so it's pretty good.
How are customer service and support?
I would rate Dell support an 8.5 or nine out of ten since you're not too long on the phone. You're talking with someone, and sometimes you might get triaged, which is fine, however, you always end up fairly quickly with the person who's going to fix your problem or help you get a replacement part out. We've never been on the phone longer than 15 minutes with any issue I've ever had with Dell, and that's a huge bonus to me.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
What was our ROI?
I wouldn't say we quantify exactly the return on our investment into these solutions, however, we have an internal write-off of three years on laptops, and we don't find ourselves returning laptops before the three years. We're getting at least three years; we had one individual who came in from the cold, out from the field, and he'd had his laptop for eight and a half years, and he surprised us how well he was doing with it. He didn't want to change; the only reason he had to change was the Windows 11 upgrade. So we gave him back the PC, the old 8.5, maybe an E-series, and he just stuck to using it for himself.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops was that pricing and setup for the laptops and accessories weren't a challenge. It was something, when everything was moved online with Dell, my execs, who I've had a number of, were all extremely good in taking our time and building up a proper Premier page. It became a tool for me to use without annoying them. Any tweaks that needed to be made were always communicated via a quick email or a conversation to touch base and provide the latest features that might have been included with a laptop, and update the Premier page to remove the older configurations and retain the newer ones. It's been pretty good; we liked it.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, we considered some Lenovo models that many people prefer, and a significant number of gamers working with us tend to prefer ASUS machines. However, we prefer not to go that way unless absolutely necessary for something that the user specifically wanted.
Some people really prefer the Lenovo lightness of some of the X1 Carbons and the keyboards, while others do not prefer the keyboards on Dell machines, and that's just a preference.
For field personnel who need to use the keyboard on a laptop, we sometimes make an accommodation and provide them with a different laptop. Otherwise, they're docked with the laptop and use a standard keyboard, so keyboard preferences are there.
What other advice do I have?
The pros and cons between all these suppliers include that Dell is in Ireland, which helps an awful lot. I have had a good relationship with the executives, and anytime there's ever an issue, they've been helpful to fix it.
Cost has been comparable. Again, the back-end support was a really huge reason why we stuck with Dell, as it was straightforward to get something fixed back when hardware wasn't as reliable as it is.
I rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops nine out of ten.

IT Support at Coru
Supports seamless daily operations for help desk and communications teams with reliable performance and strong vendor support
Pros and Cons
- "The specific features that I appreciate about Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops include good functionality, good connectivity, and high performance while running Office 365, Outlook, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat Pro as a good all-around laptop."
- "Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops could be better in terms of additional features."
What is our primary use case?
The primary use cases for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops are that they will be primarily used by help desk agents who'll take calls to record information provided by customers. They work in a part of the Department of Health. There are other employees who work in communications, marketing, and IT as well.
What is most valuable?
The specific features that I appreciate about Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops include good functionality.
We're all using Office 365, Outlook, and Teams. We're using Adobe Acrobat Pro as one of the apps. It's a good all-around laptop with good connectivity and high performance.
What needs improvement?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops could be better in terms of additional features, however, for our usage, we did look at AI. It's probably not suitable for us at the moment. We're really using it for basic usage, documenting in Word or Adobe Acrobat, just using Teams quite a lot, Microsoft Outlook.
I'm not sure what additional features we'd need at this moment in time. Obviously, the better the performance, the higher the performance, the better for us connectivity-wise. They're very good anyway at that.
For how long have I used the solution?
I've been in my current field for two years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I haven't experienced any performance issues or crashes with Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, however, there have been some issues.
The last batch I received two years ago, the Dell Latitude, had a couple of laptops with camera issues, and probably one or two of those just needed the camera replaced. In some cases, it's probably just a software update that was needed.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops scale with the growing needs of our company, and we have expanded usage of laptops. At the moment, we have 110 staff. Of that 110, by the time we roll out these ones, 70 of the 110 will have Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops. The other 40 or 50 are HP. The plan is to get more, to get up to 110. We will definitely be scaling up.
How are customer service and support?
My experience with Dell support is excellent. I've only ever had to call them probably twice. You have to go through the troubleshooting steps, even though I'm an IT professional myself, that's the right thing to do.
I find that their troubleshooting is excellent. When they send an engineer, they are here in a few days. They do a good job for us when we need it.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Negative
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
The primary reason that we are moving from HP laptops to Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is due to historical reasons, possibly a decision before I joined the company, and, under the government office of procurement, we have a contract with Dell for a few years to buy their hardware.
I would rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops as being in the top range for sure. I used to be with IBM for 20 years, so I would have had Lenovo laptops. They were pretty good.
What was our ROI?
I have seen a return on my investment. We have an agreed-upon price that is significantly less than the market price, so that would be the return we receive.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing and licensing of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is that, due to the pricing, we get the laptops probably around four or 500 Euro cheaper than the retail value as we have a contract, an agreed price that the office, the government office of procurement has agreed with Dell.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I hadn't considered other laptops before opting for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, as I wasn't involved in the negotiations that brought Dell on board, so I'm not aware of their considerations.
Generally speaking, when it comes to contracts, they will go to at least three different suppliers and they'll get quotes on who they go with.
Since we have a contract with Dell, all our laptops will come from them. We won't negotiate with anybody else, and that will last for a couple of more years. If we're buying other types of hardware, monitors, we'll get three quotes from different companies, or other peripherals, keyboards and mice. For the laptops, we're exclusively with Dell for the next few years.
What other advice do I have?
You have to get your Windows updates. In our department, updates don't roll down automatically from a server. We're just manually updating remotely. The plan is to eventually have the updates roll out automatically, which would eliminate many problems. Usually, most problems are solved by Windows updates anyway.
On a scale of one to ten, I would rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops a ten out of ten.
Disclosure: My company does not have a business relationship with this vendor other than being a customer.
Head of Sales at Dublin Tech Summit
Provides reliable performance for work tasks but the battery has shown early decline
Pros and Cons
- "I particularly appreciate the size of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, specifically the screen size."
- "From a price perspective for business functions, it's really functional."
- "The battery life on Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is not optimal."
What is our primary use case?
My primary use case for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is for work purposes. This includes emails, some design work for slide decks for presentations, and basic administrative tasks.
What is most valuable?
I particularly appreciate the size of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, specifically the screen size. It is a bit chunky, at 14 or 15 inches, however, it provides a nice, decent display compared to my last laptop, which was a very old HP model.
The keyboard is a nice size with a number pad, which is beneficial for a laptop. Most of our company uses Dell because it offers nice pricing and decent quality.
What needs improvement?
The battery life on Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is not optimal. Though it's an economical laptop, so they probably won't put the best battery in it, the battery life is inadequate even at only six months old. It might get 90 minutes to two hours. I'm uncertain if it's just this specific laptop with a problematic battery, but it hasn't had a great lifespan since I received it.
For how long have I used the solution?
I received Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops about six months ago. It's either a Longitude or Latitude model.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops are very reliable.
How are customer service and support?
I have never used Dell support previously. We have an IT company that manages all of our IT needs. If we experience any computer or software issues, they are addressed by Dell, so we generally do not contact Dell support.
I would evaluate the services and support from the third-party company at about seven stars. They tend to be somewhat slow. They're a small enough company themselves, though we have considered potentially switching.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I used to have a Mac, and prior to that, when it died, I had an HP. Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops perform all the functions that I need. From a price perspective for business functions, it's really functional. It's perhaps a bit heavy, and the battery could be improved, but otherwise, our teams find them very manageable.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
It offers a nice price for decent quality.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
We considered other laptops before choosing Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, as everyone previously used Macs. From a price perspective, when we decided to update our older devices, we determined Dell was a better fit for our company. As a small media company, our design teams still use Macs, but for all other business functions, everyone now uses Dell computers.
What other advice do I have?
I haven't discovered anything significantly different compared to what I normally use from Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops. The operating system is standard, and everything works smoothly. We use Google Workspace, which functions efficiently on the laptop.
I have used other Dell laptops prior to this role, including a Latitude model from around 2004 when I worked for Dell. They are reliable with a lifespan of four or five years, after which it's more practical to purchase a new one rather than attempt repairs.
I would rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops a seven out of ten. It's very functional, appropriately priced, and while there are potential improvements, it provides everything needed for the price point.

Reliable laptops have supported daily business work and simplified routine maintenance
Pros and Cons
- "Dell Business Laptops have a good processor and their hard drives last well, they have good memory and function very well for all the companies I've worked with when using Dell."
- "Dell can do better with their charger because the charger is a little bit big."
What is our primary use case?
I use Dell Business Laptops for my end users, and I also have them set up for consumers to use for their daily tasks.
I repair them when they are faulty, and I put images on them as needed.
What is most valuable?
Dell Business Laptops have a good processor and their hard drives last well. They have good memory and function very well for all the companies I've worked with when using Dell.
The overall stability of Dell Business Laptops is good.
They are strong and stable. When you are working on a Dell laptop, you can see how functional it is, and overall it is good.
What needs improvement?
Dell can do better with their charger because the charger is a little bit big. If they can reduce the size of the AC charger, that would improve the experience.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell Business Laptops for about thirteen to fourteen years.
How are customer service and support?
I have contacted Dell's technical support regarding these laptops when the screen got broken. That was something that the user did; the laptop fell out of his hand and the screen got broken.
I called Dell and shipped it to them for them to replace it because the laptop was still under warranty.
The speed of the support from Dell was very quick. I sent it out, and the following week I got the laptop back. I would rate them a 10.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used HP, Lenovo, and Acer as well. I prefer Dell Business Laptops because they are durable.
Their memory and processor are very good, unlike other brands where we sometimes face challenges with their processor speed and memory.
How was the initial setup?
The initial setup of these laptops is pretty easy. The only thing is that when you are setting up for a company, the company has its own image and software that needs to be done or downloaded onto them.
Apart from the company's own policy, Dell setup is pretty easy.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
The pricing for Dell Business Laptops is reasonable.
What other advice do I have?
Dell Business Laptops do require maintenance on the user's end or on my end. They do require Windows updates and maintenance when they are faulty.
In the organization I work with, we have a routine that every three months all the users come to the office with their laptops for us to examine them to see if they need maintenance. Most of them just come and they just go back because Dell is a durable product.
Dell Business Laptops allow you to install anything you want from the start.
I would rate this product a 10 overall.

Provides long-term reliability and robust performance across various roles
Pros and Cons
- "The advantages of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops are that they don't break as much and they're more robust compared to others."
- "The most valuable feature of having Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is the quality, as they don't break too much and they have excellent service."
- "Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can be improved by considering that the price matters more these days."
What is our primary use case?
My usual use case is that I buy Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops for the good price and good quality.
What is most valuable?
The most valuable feature of having Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is the quality, as they don't break too much and they have excellent service. Regarding benefits to my organization by having Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops specifically, the employees don't mind if it's Lenovo, Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, or HP; we decide what's the best.
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops are robust as they do a good job. They break less compared to others, even if the employee does anything with them and sometimes drops them on the floor; they are really robust.
The advantages of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops are that they don't break as much and they're more robust compared to others.
What needs improvement?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can be improved by considering that the price matters more these days. I understand that laptops are not for a long time, maybe three years, due to the constant changes in CPUs and other features. Most of it is the price, as we know after three years we have to do something with them, either sell them or give them to employees' families as presents.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops for 15 years.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
I assess the stability and reliability of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops as much more than other manufacturers.
How are customer service and support?
I have contacted Dell tech support before for these laptops. My experience with Dell tech support is that most of the service is through the company we buy from; we don't buy directly from Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops.
However, from time to time, we have questions that the representative doesn't know how to solve, and we have to contact Dell or Dell Europe. I don't remember where it was. It wasn't in Israel, and we got good service.
I would rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops service overall as very nice and excellent.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I have used Lenovo as a competing brand. I would compare the two by saying that Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is better.
What other advice do I have?
The models I use specifically depend on the job of the employee; for managers, they should be nice to carry and lightweight. Most of the employees that also have to work from home and don't walk about prefer the larger monitors, 15 inch or 14 inch.
Currently, I have a Lenovo model.
My advice for somebody considering Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is to check them out and see for themselves.
On a scale of one to ten, I would rate my overall experience as a nine.

Dell Business Laptops have positively impacted my organization by allowing us to showcase how Intel platform works on Dell Business Laptops product, including the feature and usability of the SKU. This showcasing has led to an overall good experience for my team and organization.
What needs improvement?
Dell Business Laptops could be improved by being more lightweight and easy to carry for travels.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Dell Business Laptops for three months.
What other advice do I have?
Regarding Dell Business Laptops' AI capabilities, I think running on the edge should be secure enough. Regarding Dell Business Laptops' AI capabilities, I believe its accuracy and reliability of output depend more on the model itself, not about the products.
Dell Business Laptops are usually not deployed in my organization; we just use them for testing. I think Dell Business Laptops are good; that would be my advice to others looking into using them.

I don't even remember if it was an issue with the system or the hardware, but when I talked with Dell service, they assisted me, and I had no issues. I would rate their support as an eight. Their service is good. They call me back after some time and resolve the issue.
How would you rate customer service and support?
Positive
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
We used HP before and replaced it with Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops. The change from HP to Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops wasn't technical; it started with the Corona pandemic when HP had a lot of problems producing new products due to chip shortages, which is why our company made the switch.
What other advice do I have?
We choose Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops because it's our global decision. It's from our global company, and they have some agreement with Dell products, which is why we order these laptops. Regarding service, I didn't test the service because I didn't have any issues.
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can provide the product more easily because they have it in their stock. I usually find them of good quality. I have had an issue with one or two laptops in recent years, but they have solved it.
I rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops an eight out of ten.

What is our primary use case?
The primary use case for Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops is to provide them to users to log in and use them for day-to-day activities including working on the SAP application, invoicing, and all other business tasks.
What is most valuable?
The specific features of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops that I appreciate the most include Windows 11, whereas previously we used the Latitude 7400 and 7330 models running Windows 10.
I observe that the latest hardware on the Dell 14 Pro and 5450 models is excellent, with good compatibility and graphics that support large Excel files and PowerPoint presentations. We have seen several benefits from using these laptops as we continue working.
What needs improvement?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops can be improved with hardware recycling. They mentioned the Dell TechDirect portal, which allows us to return the laptops for a systematic process of data wiping and hardware cleaning. I would suggest improvements in the TPS and perhaps a bigger fan size to keep the laptop cool, which would help the end-user work more comfortably, especially with high-end graphic applications such as AutoCAD.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have nine years of experience in my current field.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Regarding the stability and reliability of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, performance issues are very specific. If I run a high-end application such as AutoCAD on a normal standard laptop, I may observe performance issues, and crashes can occur if the laptop is dropped.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops scale effectively with the growing needs of my company, as our entire organization globally uses only Dell products, both desktops and laptops.
How are customer service and support?
I evaluate Dell support very positively, rating them a nine or ten out of ten. They provide informative guidance through the process. If hardware cannot be fixed, they replace it straight away, ensuring that issues are resolved efficiently. Compared to other vendors, Dell support stands out.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Before choosing Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, I worked with HP, Lenovo, and occasionally used Mac. Currently, I observe that most companies are using Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops, which I find excellent, very handy, and lightweight.
What was our ROI?
Every laptop has only a three-year cycle; after that, it can be used personally or returned to Dell. If it's in good usable condition, we can get credits back, which helps us order another laptop to offset the cost.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
My experience with pricing, setup costs, and licensing of Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops depends on the country, as the same laptop I get in Ireland would have a different cost than in Switzerland, Germany, or the Netherlands. The price difference is minimal, just a few dollars.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
When comparing Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops to HP and Macs, it has been years since I worked with HP, so I cannot comment on their latest technology. I feel comfortable working with Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops because they provide many updates each month, making it convenient for users to keep their laptops current.
What other advice do I have?
I would rate Dell Enterprise Desktops and Laptops an eight out of ten, as I focus more on basic applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and web applications for Intune administration or the Azure portal, finding them sufficient for my needs.
