What is our primary use case?
My use case involves training to ensure all our users are receiving the correct training. I believe this is important for audit trail purposes as well.
What is most valuable?
I would describe the ease of assigning behavior-based tasks and targeting risky behaviors in my organization as straightforward. The solution also sends reminders to users.
There is really no learning curve when it comes to Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training. It is not complicated if I am being honest. New starters can be automatically enrolled and assigned modules, which is a nice touch when onboarding new people. From an admin perspective, we set it up and then essentially forget about it. We set reminders for users and managers automatically, and then we obviously receive the monthly report as well, so it is fairly easy to manage.
I would assess the impact of memorable episodes on changing user behaviors as fairly engaging because they are story-driven, around five to ten minutes in length. People normally tend to complete them without being chased.
The best features of Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training that I prefer include the built-in leaderboards and badges. This gives users a bit of motivation to engage with the content. In terms of the phishing simulations, if someone clicks, they are automatically assigned the relevant training for that specific simulation, which I think is quite clever.
What needs improvement?
I think there is room for improvement regarding the difficulty of the phishing campaigns. Sometimes they can be a little bit easy.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have been using Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training for twelve months.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Concerning stability, I would give it a nine. I have not noticed any downtime. I do not often go into the portal, but I can give a nine rating.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Regarding scalability, I would say Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training is scalable, and I would rate it an eight for scalability.
How are customer service and support?
I would rate the technical support for Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training as eight.
Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
When comparing it with other solutions, I think it squares up fairly well. We have used a solution called KnowBe4 for training prior. I have certainly not noticed any issues with Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training, so I have been fairly happy.
Overall, Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training has fewer modules than KnowBe4, if I am being honest. That would probably be the biggest difference that I have noticed in terms of the modules available.
How was the initial setup?
The deployment process is easy and takes about a day to deploy.
What about the implementation team?
Approximately forty users utilize Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training. However, only a couple of people manage it on a daily basis; it would be a team of two or three that manages it.
What was our ROI?
I would say Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training saves me definitely a good couple of hours, and I would estimate four or five hours a week.
What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?
Regarding pricing for Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training, I would say it is cost-efficient.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
I would recommend Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training to other users. In terms of the content that is provided, especially the training, I think it is beneficial.
What other advice do I have?
I believe Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training effectively targets human risk with just-in-time training for risky behaviors, and I am fairly happy with that.
I am not sure if we are using the Managed Learning feature, to be honest.
The lightweight LMS does not ring a bell for me. I do not think we are using it.
I do not think we have used the Threat Simulator feature. We are only using Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training for the phishing simulations and some of the training modules after that, so I am not too familiar with that feature.
Overall, having used Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training for twelve months, I think we have seen less engagement with the phishing emails post-training, which obviously means the information is going into the users. Because the content is fairly engaging, there is definitely a noticeable improvement in terms of our cyber security.
Huntress Managed Security Awareness Training does not require any maintenance, as that is handled by the vendor; we do not have to do any updates that I am aware of.
I would rate this product an eight overall.
