We deployed PAM360 for our team of over sixty engineers, who log into multiple servers like Linux and Windows. We were not able to track login locations, assigned engineers, and vendors visiting sites daily. Therefore, we implemented PAM360 for monitoring and limitation tracking.

PAM360 stands out due to its remote session recording capabilities, which allow us to track who accessed which server and identify any changes. The automation system is very smart, although its interface is not as sophisticated as those of Dynatrace or FortiFEM. A critical advantage is its flexibility and security, providing stability across our client interactions.

PAM360's dashboard needs improvement for clearer presentations, similar to ManageEngine products like AD audit plus and Password Manager Plus, which offer a clearer picture. Comparatively, FortiFEM and Dynatrace provide dashboards that are more intuitive and user-friendly. Incorporating AI features would further enhance PAM360's capabilities.

We deployed some PAM360 in December.

There are no complaints from our clients. It is stable and flexible, and it is a secure product. We have consistently experienced this stability with our clients.

The support system is very smart. The assigned engineers handle queries effectively and provide clear explanations.

The installation process is very easy. Anyone can install it.

Pricing is standard, yet it is higher compared to Dynatrace. Licensing is on a yearly basis.

I would rate the solution seven out of ten. 

There are some features besides the dashboard and settings that are very smart, however, the dashboard is not very smart. Adding AI features is needed to improve the product.

In our company, we use ManageEngine PAM360 for access control monitoring. In our company, ManageEngine PAM360 records sessions when remote users access servers, which allows my team to know if someone has executed any kind of restricted commands, and if something goes wrong, then we are able to go through the video and see what went wrong so that we can fix the issues easily. The solution is majorly useful for remote recording purposes in our organization.

With ManageEngine PAM360, the playback feature is very easy, and moreover, it also provides a password vault for storage purposes.

If I consider that most of the users are getting connected from a remote level and take into consideration that industries prefer to go for SaaS-based solutions and multi-factor authentication, I don't see any features associated with multi-factor authentication in ManageEngine PAM360. If ManageEngine PAM360 can introduce multi-factor authentication, then it would be great from a security aspect.

I have been using ManageEngine PAM360 for almost three months. I use the solution's latest version. I am a user of the solution.

ManageEngine PAM360 can currently be described as a stable product since, in my company, we have not been facing any problems with the product. My company's infrastructure is very small, so I may not be able to comment on how ManageEngine PAM360 functions in large Infrastructures.

From ManageEngine PAM360, my company had purchased licenses for only ten users. Mostly, system admins in our company use ManageEngine PAM360.

ManageEngine PAM360 is mostly suitable for SMBs. For SMBs, ManageEngine PAM360 is more viable and easy to handle. For complex situations in large enterprises, CyberArk or ARCON can be an ideal choice.

In the future, the company may grow, and the number of system administrators may grow from ten to twenty over a span of three years.

I am happy with the solution's technical support.

Deployment is very quick, and only a one-time installation process is required for ManageEngine PAM360. There is no need to set up any database or ODBC for ManageEngine PAM360. Basically, configuration issues are not there in ManageEngine PAM360.

The product's initial setup was easy.

The solution is deployed on an on-premises model.

ManageEngine PAM360 is a solution that I consider to be worth the money, especially when compared to the two products that we had evaluated in our company against ManageEngine.

ManageEngine PAM360 can be described as a cheaply priced product. Though I don't have the exact numbers related to the cost of the solution, I can say that it costs somewhere around INR 7,00,000 for ten licenses.

I have seen the PoC for ARCON, and I feel it is a good product, but the installation part is slightly tough compared to ManageEngine PAM360.

My company chose ManageEngine PAM360 over other products in the market since it was easy to deploy and economically viable from a price perspective. My company found the technical support offered by ManageEngine PAM360 to be good during the PoC process.

During the evaluation process conducted in our company, my company had gone through different products like ARCON and BeyondTrust.

I recommend ManageEngine PAM360 to those who plan to use it in the future.

I rate the overall tool an eight out of ten.

Our clients use this solution for the rotation of keys and passwords. It is a part of logs.

It should have better documentation about how to install, work and configure.

I have been using ManageEngine PAM360 as a reseller for two weeks.

Scalability is great. For small businesses, ManageEngine PAM360 is not ideal because you can use Windows' built-in ID management without too much difficulty. However, for medium and large organizations, it becomes more beneficial. When you have more than twenty or thirty clients, the need for such a solution becomes apparent.

I rate the solution’s scalability an eight out of ten.

Support is great, but they don't have all the the techniques to help us. They are very helpful but have higher limitations.

The documentation for ManageEngine PAM360 is very poor. It lacks detailed instructions about installation and configuration. For example, it does not specify what needs to be done on the Windows client. The documentation I have only mentions opening certain ports but does not clarify whether these ports should be opened on the client or the server. 

The deployment took more than two weeks.

We began by creating a Windows environment. We set up a domain server, another server attached to the domain, and one Windows 10 client. Additionally, we included a Linux machine to see how it works in the setup.

Later, we installed the client on one Windows 10 machine to test the solution and connected it to the network. We then attempted to discover the hosts on the network. During the discovery process, we successfully identified and added hosts, including the Linux host, to the appliance.

I created the clients in the host, with one client configured as the administrator. The PAM solution could see the network and the hosts, and I was able to log into the hosts using a password key without any issues. However, when I tried to view the password, it only showed the password stored in the appliance.

Attempts to synchronize the password between the client and the host failed, and changing the password also resulted in failure. Interestingly, the functionality worked correctly on the Linux machine; I could view, change, and synchronize the passwords without any issues.

I rate the initial setup a three out of ten, where one is difficult, and ten is easy.

We can install on the cloud for ManageEngine to manage the clients. 

If you have any configurations on the domain server for a Windows user, they would be able to manage passwords remotely.

I recommend to wait for better documentation.

Overall, I rate the solution a ten out of ten.

Use cases can include whatever comes under the purview of access management, such as connecting to services with privileged identity management, privileged access management, and connecting to applications.

The most valuable feature is the key management part. That is the value-add, in addition to all the features also offered by competitors.

One area of improvement for the product would be in the integration with Linux devices.

An additional feature I'd like to see in the next release would be session logging.

I've been using this solution for three years.

The solution is stable.

I would rate the scalability at five out of ten. It's average. It's not good, not bad.

Technical support is very excellent actually.

The initial setup is very straightforward. It's not a complicated setup.

My advice would be, if you want a cost effective solution and very competitive pricing, you should go with this product.
