Microsoft Defender for Business integrates with Microsoft tools like Lighthouse, offering scalable security with excellent alerting for intrusions and malware. It excels in threat detection and response, while being cost-effective and integrating with Azure. Despite its strengths, weaknesses include insufficient integration with Outlook, scattered reporting, ineffective URL filtering, high pricing, and inadequate technical support, making it less ideal for low-budget organizations. Expensive log storage solutions are required.
