We use the product to protect our emails, especially for sensitive information from customers. Some spam messages are clever, and we want to ensure we can identify spam.

I cannot guarantee any email by its name. It can be spam. Sophos Email helps to double-check whether an email is spam or not. It has a dashboard which gives an overview of the alerts. 

I have been using the product for over two years. 

I haven't contacted the support team yet. 

We used McAfee before. It took long to connect with the Outlook application. 

The tool's deployment was easy and took five hours to complete. You need to connect it from Azure. 

The tool is worth its money. 

The tool's pricing is medium.

There are other products in the market, like Trend Micro and SpamTitan. If someone wants features similar to Sophos Email on a lower budget, they will choose the other products.

My previous organization had medium and enterprise-level customers. Many people like Sophos products and their technology. I like Sophos’ innovation. It develops features that are relevant to the latest attacks. I recommend the solution to a lot of my clients. They completely love the solution. The only issue is price. The product is very innovative. Overall, I rate the product an eight out of ten.

My customers use Sophos Email Security with the UTM features of Sophos, and they do not need to buy another product for email security. They have Sophos' full package and use one device for their needs.

The most valuable feature is its email security. Sophos has accounted for Internet access.

It was sometimes hard to find the settings in the solution's interface. Sophos should make the interface easier to use.

I am using Sophos Email to protect us from malware. The emails go through the solutions before they come to the email server which protects us.

The most valuable feature of Sophos Email is the sandbox. We're able to scan the file, isolate it, and look at it before it is delivered. It is highly effective.

One of our clients is using Microsoft Exchange and they have their email server on the cloud and they wanted an email phishing email solution to be provided into the cloud. Every email which comes to the endpoint and to the users would have to pass through this support email-based in the cloud.

The security of the solution could improve.

Most of our clients are on a perpetual license. If there is a budget issue, they can choose a subscription. However, most of the clients choose the perpetual license.

It is really good for anti-spam, anti-malware, and especially for ransomware. It's a very good product.

Most of the time, Sophos is used as a mail room. It sits in front of an email server, either on cloud or on-premise. I'm a technical engineer and we are distributors of Sophos. 

There are quite a number of features in this solution. There's VIP protection, there's also time of click protection and the Sandstorm feature. I think these features are all very good. There's also the smart banners, that help us know whether the email has malicious content. Management of the solution is simple because it can be managed at one point. We can also integrate with all other Sophos solutions which gives us visibility in their network. 

They're making improvements all the time but I'd like to see visibility into the spam emails so you can easily see them directly on the dashboard.

This is a very stable solution. 

This is a very scalable solution. Depending on the number and size of the environments, you can easily cover every size, almost every small SMB within the market.

Sophos lacks real-time support, which would be a help to us. Getting them active and the ability to get a technical person on a chat room immediately, you need that support.

The initial setup is very straightforward, it is one of the simplest setups you can get. Implementation takes a few minutes, especially on public cloud. It may take extra time if you are using another domain host that Sophos doesn't control. 

I think the licensing is reasonable compared to its competitors. 

I would recommending deciding on the specific features you need rather than just going for the standard product because you will be missing out on advanced features that take care of advanced threat protection. I recommend the advanced version which protects against threats from hackers and especially when it comes to phishing.
