We use the solution in the company where I work as an operating system. Whenever you are doing some serious development, you deploy this solution on a Unix platform.

The main feature of the solution is it has a command-line editor.

I find the solution could be easier to use, more flexible, user-friendly, and have a better UI.

In the future, I would like to see easier deployment.

I have been using the solution for a couple of years.

The solution is stable.

I have previously used Microsoft Windows and still do. I use this solution for personal use and when my work requires it.

The installation is easy and only takes approximately 15 minutes, but the process could improve.

I am using the free version of the solution.

I am going to continue using the solution and would recommend it to others.

I rate Ubuntu Linux a nine out of ten.

I provide products for my customers. There are no limits to this solution.

Customers can use it for almost all applications and they can use it for their own systems.

Once you are used to it, it is quite flexible. It is more powerful because you have more control over it.

It's not as easy to use as Windows by Microsoft. It could be easier to use.

It is stable to an extent. Microsoft and Apple are more stable.

The stability definitely can be improved. When we are implementing patches and new releases, it tends to fail.

There is a lot of support available on the internet. Getting solutions is not difficult.

People tend to use Google to try to solve the problem they may be having.

The initial setup can be complex. The installation could be simplified.

It can take a couple of hours to implement.

I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it.

It is used for everything. We use it for our mail server and cloud solution server. You can also use it as an Active Directory (AD) Server instead of a Windows Server.

It is stable and modern.

It should be easier and lighter. I am more experienced in working with CentOS, and I find CentOS much easier to use than Ubuntu. Ubuntu is more complicated than CentOS. Ubuntu is also heavier for hardware than centOS.

I have never used their support. I am technical support.

I only use the server version.

I've been using the solution for about two years or so at this point. It's been a while.

The scalability potential of the solution is good. If a company would like to expand the solution, it can do so with relative ease. It's not hard.

I would rate the solution at a seven out of ten overall.

I would recommend the solution to other organizations and other users. We've had a good experience overall.

I'm responsible for building and providing container environments, and, therefore, I need to install and configure Kubernetes clusters on Linux operating systems. We use Ubuntu as a base operating system for the Kubernetes cluster and container environments.

It is easy to use, performs great, and is stable and scalable.

I think they need to focus more on securing and hardening Ubuntu's operating system.

The Linux operating system is very traditional, and you need to use specific commands. I think that it can be improved to be more handy.

All operating systems in the world are moving toward simplicity, and Linux distribution should also be focused on simplifying the GUI and command line to provide a better experience for the users.

I've been using Ubuntu and Linux systems for around three years.

I work with simple environments like a laboratory, and it is stable because there are no huge workloads on that server.

In general, I think Ubuntu servers are very stable for providing cloud native applications.

I think that Ubuntu Linux is a scalable solution.

We used Windows Server 2012 and 2016 before switching to Ubuntu Linux.

Installation is very simple and straightforward, but if you want to install more than one server simultaneously, for the Linux distribution, you would need to use an automation server. However, if the Linux community provides specific tools built into Linux like, for example, WDS Microsoft, then you will be able to simultaneously install multiple Linux operating systems on multiple servers.

In comparison to Red Hat, I think Ubuntu offers more security, scalability, and better performance, as well as better GUI and administration.

On a scale from one to ten, I would rate Ubuntu Linux at eight. 

We use this solution to install multiple applications in our environment.

It keeps you secure from virus and malware attacks.

The interface could be more user-friendly.

I have been using Ubuntu Linux for 10 to 12 years.

We are using the latest version.

It's a stable solution.

It's a scalable solution. We have 10 users in our organization.

We plan to continue using it in the future.

We have not had to contact Linux Support.

Previously, I worked with AIX.

AIX is very old today.

The initial setup is straightforward. It's easy, very simple.

It takes an hour to deploy.

I completed the implementation myself.

We have a team of five people to deploy and maintain this solution.

This is a solution that I can recommend to other users who are interested in using it.

I would rate Ubuntu Linux a ten out of ten.

I am using it for quite a lot of things. I teach at a university where we use it for radiation protection computations. On the networking side, I use it for both workstations and firewalls. I always use its latest version.

It is fast and easy to install. It also supports containers and all kinds of libraries. I can do almost everything with it. 

It can be improved in terms of user-friendliness for inexperienced users. It also has a lot of scope for improvement in terms of deployment. It is kind of hard for inexperienced users, and the learning curve is very steep. There is not really good documentation for new professionals. Even we are using network servers to install it.

I have been using this solution for 12 years. 

If it is administered properly, it is stable. If there are administration issues, they are kind of hard to resolve for inexperienced users.

It is scalable in terms of server cluster infrastructure, but the main issue with scalability is the hardware.

We have five to ten users in the enterprise. We also use it for every student. In terms of our plans to increase its usage, I don't know what the future brings because I see that Microsoft has also started to use Linux infrastructure.

I am not using the Enterprise support for Ubuntu. I am kind of used to it, and I know how to compile kernels and modules. It is no issue at all.

I started with BSD. It takes 10 to 15 minutes to install Ubuntu Linux.

I installed it myself.

I don't need to pay for the license.

I would recommend this solution based on the application. For a firewall, I would go for a dedicated device. For a desktop, it is okay to use.

I would rate Ubuntu Linux a ten out of ten.

We mainly use this solution for application-related uses. We use it as our main Linux platform of choice. 

One of the best features is that it is constantly updated.

I have been using Ubuntu Linux for more than 15 years.

Ubuntu Linux is both stable and scalable.

I have never contacted their support team.

We actually use both Ubuntu Linux and CentOS, but CentOS is being decommissioned so our choice is Ubuntu.

Ubuntu Linux was very easy to deploy. You can install Ubuntu in many different ways and all of them are pretty straightforward. I also have a lot of experience with Ubuntu, so for me, the initial installation is very easy.

A team of four people is required for maintenance and deployment.

Overall, on a scale from one to ten, I would give Ubuntu Linux a rating of ten. More people should use this solution.

I primarily used Ubuntu Linux as a DNS server. I was running other types of servers, as well.

What I like best is the way in which packages are managed.

I don't like the graphical interface in Ubuntu and it should be better.

I have been using Ubuntu Linux for more than 15 years.

All Linux systems, including Ubuntu, are stable.

The support available for Ubuntu is okay.

Prior to Ubuntu, I worked with Sun Unix for servers.

I have made the switch to using CentOS primarily because of the interface. It is more lightweight than Ubuntu.

The initial setup and installation are easy, and not difficult to complete. It should not take more than 15 minutes to deploy.

Our in-house team of two engineers is responsible for deployment and maintenance.

Ubuntu Linux is open-source and available to use free of charge.

Overall, this is a good operating system and I recommend it.

I would rate this solution a ten out of ten.

I like that everything is in the command line. It is really helpful.

Recently, we experienced a problem with the integration with DAD where it was not syncing.

At times, it can be complex when we are trying to integrate or when we are trying to set up some features.

I have been using Ubuntu Linux for four or five years.

We are working with the latest version.

This solution is stable. It runs smoothly in our environment and we have not been faced with any issues using it.

It's a scalable product.

We have support, but only use it on rare occasions.

They respond well to customer care.

When we raise a ticket with them, they reply to the emails. For example, if they have a tag for a particular issue they will respond to you within four hours.

We only connect with technical support when we have an issue.

As I am from IT security, there are some type-overs required. I need to use Kali Linux. 

I have also tried some penetration testing tools, which is testing that is better done using Kali Linux tools.

The initial setup is straightforward.

It takes a couple of hours to deploy.

We are currently evaluating different software solutions that we can deploy in our environment. Some that we are considering are CrowdStrike and Microsoft Defender ATP.

We are looking at the options and the features that offer us the best endpoint protection.

I would rate Ubuntu Linux a seven out of ten.
