We have 250 to 300 users in our organization working with Ubuntu, including about 50 engineers.

Ubuntu is quite flexible. It is a direct software, where we can work directly on its OS. It works to its maximum capacity. Windows needs a refresh option to refresh its screen, but Ubuntu doesn't need that. It refreshes automatically and works well.

But it could be better for working with software at a high resolution. 

I've been using Ubuntu for about a year.

Ubuntu is stable. 

I would rate Ubuntu an eight out of 10. It could be easier to learn and have better documentation. With Windows, it is quite easy to learn from a particular guide or manual. 

As we have repositories in my country, the ease of use and the open source nature of the solution are valuable features. I can now install Active Directory on it.

The documentation is very poor. It is written like a textbook.

I have been using Ubuntu Linux since 2010.

I have never had occasion to contact technical support. 

Prior to using Ubuntu Linux we made use of Windows Server. 

The installation is straightforward.

The solution is a deployed server, so it is not really a desktop machine. Deployment took 20 minutes. 

The deployment can be done on one's own. 

Deployment and maintenance only involve two people to provide administrative support. 

The solution is open source, so there is no licensing fee.

I would recommend the solution to others.

We are using Ubuntu Linux for many purposes, such as running applications for our server.

The solution is more secure than competitors such as Microsoft Windows.

The solution could improve by being more user-friendly.

Of value is that the solution is stable, easy to use, has features that are easy to connect to other Linux systems and can be managed and administered.

The solution should have more personal use applications for this platform.

Prior to going with the solution, I made use of Red Hat and Enterprise for business purposes. 

The solution is easy to install.

This took an hour. 

Installation can definitely be done on one's own. 

The solution does not come with a licensing fee.

I use it only for personal purposes and not in my organization. 

I would definitely recommend the solution to others.

There is a wide range of community support available online for any issues you might have. I have had an excellent experience with the support.

I have used Windows previously.

The installation is easy for someone who is familiar with Linux. However, if they have been only using a Windows-based system then the installation could be difficult. The time for the installation was approximately 10 minutes.

If you are comfortable navigating around Linux systems, I would recommend this solution.

The use case for Ubuntu is not the information system production environment for the operating system. It is used to run applications.

We are not utilizing Ubuntu in critical applications.

Ubuntu Linux is developer-oriented.

Similar to Windows 10, I would like the ability to manage it on Azure or integrate it with Azure.

We have been using Ubuntu Linux for 10 years.

Ubuntu Linux is a stable solution.

It's a scalable product, but not the best. We have 2,000 systems. 

We have not contacted technical support.

With an expert, the installation was easy. We had no issues with the installation.

We completed the installation ourselves.

Ubuntu Linux is free, but you can pay for a supported version that is better.

I would recommend Ubuntu for development and to run applications that are non-information system critical.

I would rate Ubuntu Linux a ten out of ten.

I use this solution for running our personal applications and our day-to-day personal use. We install it on our laptops.

We can easily customize the NTS Client code.

We can customize the code ourselves.

Reducing the UA would be very helpful to reduce resource consumption. They need a less resource pack option. Currently, I am using the standard one.

The user interface could be improved.

Previously, I was using Windows 7.

The installation was easy. It only takes 15 minutes.

I completed the installation myself. I did not use the help of an integrator or consultant.

There are no licensing fees, it's an open-source solution.

I would recommend this solution to others who are interested in using it.
