The most valuable features include the ease of designing Boomi flows and the significant cost savings and reduced time to market they offer our clients. Furthermore, Boomi enhances application integration with scalability, reliability, and security.

There is room for improvement in Boomi's AI capabilities. We are particularly interested in exploring AI features more thoroughly, focusing on next-generation enhancements like ChatGPT. 

Additionally, Boomi could improve its customer support by providing clearer communication channels, enhancing responsiveness, and offering more proactive support resources like newsletters and webinars.

I have experience using Boomi AtomSphere Flow for almost five years.

I would rate the stability as 8.5 out of ten. The solution maintains high stability, which makes it reliable.

I would rate the scalability as nine out of ten, as it effectively scales to meet our clients’ needs.

The technical support is rated around 6.5 to seven out of ten. It lacks clarity on how to reach out, write emails, or understand responsiveness. 

Unlike other tools we use, the support process isn't well communicated, making it challenging for new developers or team members to engage with the service effectively.

The initial setup is straightforward and easy to use. Developers can be onboarded with a couple of weeks of training, making it simple to learn and implement.

The pricing is considered a bit expensive yet not excessively so, particularly when compared to similar solutions like MuleSoft. I would rate the pricing at 6.5 to seven out of ten.

My company sells Boomi AtomSphere Flow to some clients based on the requirements. Sometimes, my company also recommends Boomi AtomSphere Flow to our clients. Suppose my company approaches a new customer who wants their systems to be integrated, including their back-end and front-end applications or whatever they have, so we must understand the landscape, and if we see that a customer doesn't know about integration tools. My company makes some suggestions that are best for our clients depending on their infrastructure.

The most valuable features users experience from the use of the solution depend upon the IT landscape of those who use it. Many might say that the tool offers a drag-and-drop interface, which makes it user-friendly and accessible to users. Many might say that the product offers ease of use and an easy deployment model compared to MuleSoft. People feel that every tool available in the market is the best. People might even say that as a low-code development tool, users can take care of multi-cloud or hybrid integrations while having access to pre-built connectors. In my opinion, after checking the environment or landscape of the customer, I suggest which tool is better for them.

From an improvement perspective, Boomi AtomSphere Flow should come up with the ability to deal with large datasets. The data integration part is a concern when you try to connect to an on-premises environment since the latency is high, making it an aspect where improvements are required to reduce the latency. Whenever Boomi AtomSphere Flow gets integrated with applications like SAP, it is important to ensure that what you develop is user-friendly, which is a process that takes time, especially when compared with webMethods.io or TIBCO. The development effort with Boomi AtomSphere Flow is more when you compare it with other tools, which is a drawback and an area of improvement.

I have experience with Boomi AtomSphere Flow. My company has a partnership with Boomi.

The product does have some bugs. Integrating the APIs is not that stable with Boomi AtomSphere Flow, especially when you compare it to other tools.

The solution's technical support is good. When it comes to the solution's support team, the turnaround time depends upon the issue. Sometimes, when you have some issue, the solution's support team says that it's not the current feature of the solution and that there will be a new feature released soon, but such incidents happen with the other tools in the market.

I deal with different integration tools like TIBCO, webMethods.io, MuleSoft, and SnapLogic. I am certified to use the aforementioned technologies. My company has partnerships with Cisco, MuleSoft, and Software AG.

In the long run, if you have a good team, solution architect, and an architect from Boomi's side, then it is a good tool from an ROI perspective since it can help save money. The costing, or the pricing model of Boomi, is better when compared with other iPaaS platforms.

I know many designs for different integration projects since my company has been involved in integration projects for different clients, especially those in the US and Europe. Whenever my company selects a tool, there is a need for us to check with the client to ensure whether they use a SaaS model or they want APIs while seeing to it that they are not exposed or experience downtime from a security point of view. The aforementioned aspects are considered on the basis of which my company specifies the correct tool for our clients. Since I am mainly into solution designing, my company talks to different clients and understands the requirements to be able to suggest the integration tools that would be better for their environment.

A couple of our company's customers want to integrate Boomi AtomSphere Flow with their back-end and front-end applications, especially if they use SAP for their back-end applications or if they plan to use it for B2B and EDI in the supply chain where there are purchase orders, like 850, 855, 856, 820 and 810 that needs to be transferred during B2B transactions.

Someone who is new to the product needs to undergo training to be able to start using the solution. My recommendation of the tool would depend on the use cases of an individual or a business. Before choosing the product, you need to consider the cost factors and have the SaaS connectors that you want to connect. If you only operate in a cloud environment, then you can choose Boomi AtomSphere Flow over MuleSoft, which is very expensive. Boomi AtomSphere Flow's pricing model is better compared to MuleSoft.

We use the solution to integrate enterprise-grade applications. For example, SuccessFactors is one, and it can be integrated into any number of applications.

As a developer, Boomi AtomSphere Flow is very easy to develop and maintain compared to other tools like SAP HANA Cloud Integration or Cloud Platform. Boomi AtomSphere Flow is the most user-friendly in terms of development and management. It's a brilliant tool in all respects.

Its stability could be improved.

I've developed processes using Boomi AtomSphere Flow since 2014.

The solution is very stable. When it gets pushed to the limit, it starts breaking. For example, it's a bad design when you are using Dell Boomi for millions of records in processing, such as updating a database for millions of records. It doesn't work as efficiently. But if you're using it for a reasonable volume, it is a fantastic tool. Recently, for a client, we were having trouble processing because the volume of the data was high in terms of updating the table. Dell Boomi took about ten hours, but I know tools that could have done this in less time. Dell Boomi is probably not designed for these things; if you push the limits and try to anyway, it breaks.

Dell Boomi is medium scalable. It is scalable; it's just that it's not auto-scalable. Rather, it's not Elastic. For example, if you need resources in AWS, it takes care of expanding its resources. In Dell Boomi's case, you must manually add items and resources to the system.

We contacted tech support in 2016 when we were new to the tool. Otherwise, the documentation and online community are quite strong, and you can get things done there.

The initial setup is very easy. If the consultant or the developer has set up the solution before, it's straightforward. The initial setup doesn't take more than a day for an experienced developer. It might not even take that long. It's just a few clicks if the person knows what they're doing. All the same, it could take approximately one day to set up the whole environment. Once we receive it as a developer and a consultant, it doesn't take long to do the setup.

Before deploying the solution, Dell has to configure an account for the client. If a client has purchased Dell Boomi for their integration, there's some configuration at Dell's end to create the accounts, and they share the credentials for the admin account. That is the prerequisite that happens from Dell's side. From the client side, that has to be done first.

People partially see an ROI. The reason is that now, a lot of tools come with capabilities. For example, when I was integrating SuccessFactors, they previously used Dell Boomi and partnered with them. It was the default tool with SuccessFactors and had a configuration capability. A lot of enterprise tools have these kinds of capabilities coming in. I would say people see an 80% ROI.

Comparing it with different tools in its category, Boomi AtomSphere Flow is far more capable as an integration center than competitors like SAP Cloud or SuccessFactors. I like solutions like MuleSoft, but I am biased toward Dell Boomi.

I recommend one assess their situation and address why they are using Boomi AtomSphere Flow. If it is for enterprise integration, I recommend it. If the cost is the same for other tools, then Dell Boomi is brilliant.

The solution's most valuable feature is its core integration with Boomi AtomSphere because it's extremely easy to tap into any informational system of a company. You can create a user screen picking data from everywhere, like HR, SAP, and Salesforce. It can be created in the same screen-reactive web page for mobile.

We are an Italian company, and we see difficulty proposing products like Boomi AtomSphere Flow to the government due to its cloud nature. The solution's user interface building needs improvement.

The solution's technical support has improved the effectiveness of its response. Six months ago, we would get workarounds that would not solve a problem. However, now we get solutions from the technical support team.

Since it's a SaaS solution, there's no installation. You can just sign up for the service and start using it.

Since its pricing positioning has a different construction with respect to its competitors, the solution is sometimes way more expensive and sometimes less expensive.

Boomi AtomSphere Flow is deployed on-cloud in our organization.

Our company decided to use the solution because we needed a tool to build customer-facing applications to complement our offering regarding Boomi AtomSphere.

Using Boomi AtomSphere Flow depends on your use case. Boomi AtomSphere Flow is a good tool for users who need to build a web application with phones, screens, etc. However, it's not a general-purpose web application-building tool. Most customers who face issues try to push the solution beyond its design and purpose.

Boomi AtomSphere Flow is a good investment for mid-large corporate customers.

Boomi AtomSphere Flow is a low-code, no-code platform for developing a user interface.

I have not used Boomi AtomSphere Flow in depth at this time. We are using the solution but have not used it in many places. Boomi bought a company and now the Flow is part of Boomi. I'm not fully sure though. We mainly work on the platform and do API management, and we develop products.

Boomi AtomSphere Flow is integrated through APIs, it exposes the API and any product can call the APIs in the queue. Additionally, it is secure.

The solution could improve by being more user-friendly. The whole solution is used through an interface and it could always be improved.

Those wanting to use this solution should do a simple POC to start with and check the features required for them. I believe there is a trial license that's available. Boomi provides the solution to the users and they can test it against their requirements. Then can leverage the solution in their business to see if it fits their use case.
