L7 load balancing features like URL re-write, persistence, etc. Also some of the global load balancing features like sticky, sticky-sync, etc.
Makes local load balancing relatively simple but could use more options for L7 load balancing

How has it helped my organization?
Organization has a lot of client facing applications and needs to have multiple servers for scalability. With ADX network load balancer, local load balancing is pretty simple.Should have had more option for L7 load balancing. Also, troubleshooting was little difficult with this production

Not much.Issue with SSL scalability, especially when the Key size is 2K

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
Have used Cisco ACE. But ADX is better in capacity and its Chassis-based product (10K) is much more scalable.
How was the initial setup?
It was complex, as we had to use many of the features like global load balancing, global persistence, session persistence, URL rewrite, SSL offloading, etc.
