We use account hijacking prevention in email security for account takeover prevention. This ability to prevent account takeover helps our organization secure data through Check Point Harmony Email and Collaboration. The engines detect all users' patterns, metadata, and behaviors. It categorizes those behaviors under the category of anomalies and understands user behavior patterns. If it finds a user based in the U.S. and suddenly their location shows they have logged in from Canada after 40 minutes, it analyzes this.

It understands if a user has a pattern of writing emails starting with 'Dear' and suddenly starts writing mails with 'Hi'. In such cases, it will recognize this as anomalous behavior and categorize the user under an account takeover. It will automatically stop that user from communicating with the outside world or other users. This is how account takeover prevention works for every vendor.

One of the best features with Check Point Harmony SaaS is that they provide a static IP to every customer who enrolls for the service. It differs from Prisma Access, Zscaler, or Netskope that give a shared static IP of the PoP. For example, if you are in the U.S. or in India, in the Kolkata or Mumbai region, every customer in that location will connect to the nearest PoP, which might be in the South U.S. region. With other providers, every customer shares the same static IP.

With Check Point Harmony SaaS, they always provide dedicated static IP, which activates when you turn on the network for your cloud. The benefit is that you receive a high level of security. If Prisma Access becomes compromised, every customer could be affected, but that is not the case with Check Point Harmony SaaS. This is a unique feature that has received positive feedback from users.

Check Point Harmony SaaS continues to evolve. They are planning to announce their industry browser within seven to ten days, which will change the market of Check Point Harmony SaaS. Similar to Chrome and Safari, they will provide the Check Point browser. Enterprise users will browse everything from this particular browser, which will provide top-notch security. It will include features such as copy-paste restrictions and direct OCR capabilities, offering more granular control through their browser integration with Check Point Harmony SaaS.

Setting up Check Point Harmony SaaS is very straightforward and easy.

Check Point Harmony SaaS pricing is competitive. Customers appreciate the pricing structure. When comparing Check Point, Palo Alto, or Zscaler, Netskope in terms of SASE, these are enterprise solutions. The prices are higher compared to other basic solutions, but when compared to the big four providers, Check Point Harmony SaaS is more affordable.

Check Point Harmony SaaS collaborated with and acquired Perimeter 81, and they continue to evolve their SASE solutions to compete with Zscaler. Check Point Harmony SaaS offers different features compared to other SASE solutions by providing hybrid SASE solutions. While Prisma Access, Zscaler, and Netskope require cloud inspection for all traffic, Check Point operates differently. They offer hybrid SASE solutions where network Internet access traffic can be inspected either on the cloud or from the local ISP. When inspection occurs from the local ISP, users experience smoother performance with better latency.

On a scale of 1-10, this solution rates as 7.5.

I work with Check Point Harmony SaaS, as our customer has Check Point Harmony SaaS, and we work on monitoring as we are working as a SOC, that Security Operations Center. We do have that device for monitoring perspective.

We only monitor our customers. The logs that we receive from it are being monitored.

I want to clarify that for Check Point Harmony SaaS, we only monitor the logs for it. If any suspicious detection is detected, the alert triggers, and we monitor that. That part is what I am aware of because I work as a consultant engineer there, and I am not well aware of the implementation or onboarding part of it.

I have gone through the portal multiple times for investigation purposes, and the highlighted points I will say are the threat protection of Check Point Harmony SaaS, which provides excellent visibility along with centralized management reporting.

Identification of zero-day threats is a tough part, but when we have such features for random threat identification, it helps us strengthen the security posture. We have not highlighted any incidents with respect to this to the customer yet, but this is a really useful feature that all the next-generation SIEMs and EDRs have, and we are really impressed with that.

We track user behavior with Check Point Harmony SaaS's visibility features, including any unusual behavior detection along with location tracking. If a user has logged in from a different location or device type, that observation raises the risk threshold of that particular user account, and post that, detection will focus on user behavior analysis or user entity behavior analysis. All those features are important for us, and we are utilizing them to highlight critical users to the customer.

The one improvement I would suggest is for reporting customization and alert tuning, so whatever the weekly charts I have to fetch for detection incidents, or particularly for host-specific alerts, I need to collect reports from post-detection on how many connections have been established. Such customization can be done on the report, and if that can be implemented, it will be a better hand for the security analyst.

I will rate the overall product as a nine. I will not rate it as a ten because of some customized reporting and the customizable dashboard issues. If those parts could be improved, it would be a ten out of ten.

We are familiar with Check Point Harmony SaaS for almost one and a half years, like one year and eight months. We do have that finance customer with us who is using this one, and we are monitoring that device for one year and eight months.

I will not be the right person to report technical support, but whenever we face glitches on the portal or anything, those issues get resolved within a shorter time. Once our admin team reaches out to the support team, they resolve it within almost two to three business hours. So that was really quick support, and I would rate it as a nine out of ten.

For initial setup, it will be done in a few hours, but based on the organization or integrating that particular device on the agent, it will take almost one to two business days at most.

In terms of implementation, our implementation team has not faced any issues or reported any issues while integrating it because we already have multiple Check Point Firewalls, and they are very familiar with all process documents or the documentation provided by Check Point itself. So there was not any issue for implementation.

I am not the person who implemented that one, so I work only on the SIEM console, and I am not sure exactly on what basis it is implemented.

The main feature of Check Point Harmony SaaS is the mail protection, which is very good.

The AI and machine learning capabilities of Check Point Harmony SaaS are available to explore data, though I haven't used them yet.

The real-time visibility and control features of Check Point Harmony SaaS are good; the screen provides information about logins and situations, showing how many phishing emails were received.

I have seen a return on investment from Check Point Harmony SaaS, as it saved me significant time by preventing users from clicking on links that could lead to illegal cyber activity.

I don't really have specific suggestions for how Check Point Harmony SaaS could be improved at this time.

I would prefer to maintain the current features for now.

Before Check Point Harmony SaaS, I used a different solution from a big company, though I don't remember its name.

I switched to Check Point because the main difference is that the other solution was only for mail, while Check Point Harmony SaaS covers everything, including OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.

The initial setup for Check Point Harmony SaaS was short. Though I didn't do it myself, it took about one day, approximately four hours, and everything was running very fast.

The return on investment is huge because you pay approximately $10,000 for three years, and if someone can damage the company, it can be done in just one day of shutdown.

I haven't tried it beyond asking questions about mail.

This platform isn't primarily for user activity monitoring, but I can use it for that purpose, and it does filter mails and tracks user activity.

The pricing for Check Point Harmony SaaS is fair enough. I have the price before it increased, and I'm currently using it and renewing it at the same price.

The best features that Check Point Harmony SaaS provides include my feature or strength, and I use Python, Excel, and other cybersecurity programs.

Check Point Harmony SaaS provides great network security. When I used Check Point in some sites in Korea, it was used for network points and network nodes, so most traffic could be monitored by the Check Point solution.

I am satisfied with the visibility that I have with the solution.

In terms of improvements, Check Point Harmony SaaS has an integrated function for all infrastructure, making it similar to an all-in-one solution, which is really efficient to monitor, and the visibility provides great security advantages.

The interface of Check Point Harmony SaaS was a little tricky to integrate compared to other security solutions, so at that time, I was confused about controlling Check Point's functions.

These days, Check Point Harmony SaaS provides benefits as it is also adapting for CNet on cloud infrastructure, and Check Point has actually introduced many features for cloud users and cloud sites. I rate Check Point Harmony SaaS eight out of ten.

The scope is for email security requirements only.

Some of the investments in IT particularly related to security may not provide direct ROI, but we can arrange the ROI indirectly by considering information security risk incidents and compliance requirements. For example, by putting security measures in place, it helps prevent monetary losses from phishing attacks.

They have a sandboxing feature and are developing advanced threat protection technologies. Check Point Harmony also provides in-line API-based security, which is fast and reliable. Its API services should be available within our geography, India. This ensures that I can restrict emails from outside India, helping prevent geography-based phishing attacks. Additionally, Check Point is building AI capabilities for behavioral threat detection.

Check Point does not have identity management features, which could be considered for future implementation. The ability to identify the origin country of emails would be useful, allowing me to restrict emails generated outside of India to prevent phishing attacks.

We have to explore it since the deployment is in progress. Based on users' complaints, if they have a good connection with Check Point's technical team and implementation partner, they will be able to resolve issues. I have a direct connect with Check Point and the partner implementing it.

We resell the product to various customers. We give them the latest version. We use the solution for protection purposes. It can help protect, for example, OneDrive, 365, Google Workspaces, and Exchange. 

The solution offers very good protection. For example, if a user receives a URL, Check Point would be able to see the link and check it to see if it is malicious or not. The same is true if you receive an Excel file with Macros. If a Macro is malicious, it will protect the user from opening it up.

It offers transparent cloud protection. Users are protected from phishing, for example. It offers different types of endpoint protections. It prevents and decreases the likelihood of issues related to receiving dangerous or corrupt files or links.

It's not complex to implement. It's a SaaS product, so you don't need to install anything, and you can start to use it immediately. 

This is a very efficient solution. 

We had one experience with a Check Point customer with whom we started a POC. This solution worked in their environment for about 50 days. It was very good. There were a lot of alerts, a lot of protection, and a lot of problems were solved within that time. 

The solution needs to be configured correctly. If it is not, it will begin to generate false positives.

Support is okay. We can create tickets or call. However, the level of support is relative to the level of support the customer buys. You can purchase advanced support. In general, it's very good.

It's a cloud solution that is very easy to set up. You get the solution, set up the credentials, and connect to the clouds. The solution immediately starts to work. You do need to configure the rules and the protection models. You need to change it from detection to protection mode. It's important even though this action is not very complex. That said, you do need to understand the configurations needed for the customer's environment. If you don't put in the correct configurations, you can start creating false positives. 

As a SaaS solution, there is no maintenance needed from the user's end. 

For the benefits the customer receives, the pricing is very good. You can pay extra for more support.

We use Harmony for mail inspection, blacklisting, and SaaS verification. These are the primary protections provided by the solution.

Harmony's report settings are quite useful. The reports are clear and customizable, allowing us to easily show which types of mails are being blocked or protected under the platform.

There have been complaints about the integration with mailing groups in Active Directory. It's challenging to identify spam in cases where specific mailboxes receive emails from many domains but specific accounts.

I have been using Harmony for about three years now.

We haven't had any problems during these three years, so stability is rated ten out of ten.

Planning is crucial for a smooth experience when implementing Harmony. It's best to take your time to ensure all settings are correct. The overall rating for the solution is ten out of ten.

We use the solution for content solutions for secure web gateway and SMP's model.

The solution could improve monitoring activity. When users have access to the Internet, they can reduce exposure or maybe change their login password.

It is suitable for enterprise businesses and high-tech industries. We have employed 200 employees for this solution.

Support is satisfactory. You can open tickets for support, and they will respond within a day.
