Pyramid Analytics Reviews

I have used Pyramid Analytics at a few different projects. I used it at the VA, at the Department of Health and Human Services, and on a couple smaller projects for some smaller customers that were using that platform.

My main use case for Pyramid Analytics is to integrate data, do visualizations, or presentations and conduct BI type work in order to communicate where the organization is at or where they are in a particular project or updates in terms of marketing sciences and campaigns.

A specific example of how I used Pyramid Analytics stands out when we were doing the project at the VA, where we were doing site reliability engineering. We had a bunch of enterprise platforms that were getting migrated to newer platforms. We had smaller technology suites that were getting upgraded or moved. We were integrating a lot of those projects and using Pyramid Analytics to manage that data. We could report on where we were, what progress we had, and what we were doing, and I used some of the interactive features in order to help with the technical side of it.

The best features Pyramid Analytics offers include a broad range of features, which I think is one of the advantages of it. It has a lot of connectors and a lot of different capabilities. I would say end-to-end capabilities is one of the nice features of it.

Regarding the end-to-end capabilities and lots of connectors, I found the connectors most valuable. If you are trying to do Snowflake, SQL server, or any of the normal database platforms that you see in the cloud or on-premises, it has those connectors built in. You don't have to worry about writing custom drivers. That is a nice feature to have.

Pyramid Analytics has impacted my organization positively in that I use it for my clients' organizations. For my organization, it is great because it gives me a technology platform that clients enjoy using and I am proficient with. For my clients, it is about delivering on their aspirations in terms of what they want to do with their data and where they want to head in their organization. This is definitely a tool that we can use in order to get there.

After implementing Pyramid Analytics for my clients, I have seen measurable outcomes and specific improvements, such as having a single platform that gets them from the raw data to the endpoint reporting. I think that streamlining has a positive effect on the quality of the outputs. The quality of the outputs definitely leads to better decision making.

As for how Pyramid Analytics can be improved, I wish that there was a greater degree of customization available. Any advanced user wants to implement an idea that they have, and while the whole idea of a platform is not necessarily to give a custom solution, I would not mind if they had more in terms of AutoML or that sort of capability. I think that is becoming significant now, and I think that would be a good thing to implement.

I did not purchase Pyramid Analytics through the AWS Marketplace; the client did all of the purchasing. I just arrived on scene and began to use the platform.

Pyramid Analytics is stable in my experience; there have not really been issues with downtime or bugs. It has some bugs here and there, but overall, I would say that it is probably better than average in terms of bugs. In particular, it did not have any of those severe bugs that cripple operations. It had some small bugs but nothing that was more than slightly irritating, nothing operationally hindering or that was causing issues with the data pipelines. Everything was good quality overall.

Regarding Pyramid Analytics' scalability from what I have seen, with the right people managing it, it can handle growing amounts of data and users well. When you are talking about scale, if you do not have the right people managing it, then it does not matter what technology suite you are using. Is it the best thing to scale for very large data sets? I am not sure, but definitely for small to large data sets, it is not a problem.

Customer support for Pyramid Analytics is good from what I have seen or heard from my clients. I never had to use them because we did not experience any of those severe bugs, so there was not much of a reason to call customer service. The one time we had an issue related to something with the logins, they addressed it that morning. We had an issue maybe around 8:00 or 9:00, and I think by 11:30 it was cleared up. I would say that is a good response time.

Before choosing Pyramid Analytics, I think my clients evaluated other options and they had looked at Tableau prior to the switch. I think they were looking at the Tableau server and in-house databases. I think that was much more difficult to manage than having a single platform.

I would say that there is a positive return on the data investment for my clients using Pyramid Analytics. In other words, there are a lot of resources going into what we are doing with the data, and is what we are getting out of it worth the inputs? I would say for both what we saw at the VA in terms of the modernization, as well as some of the smaller projects, the return on the data investment was positive.

Regarding my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing for Pyramid Analytics, I have to be honest, I did not observe any of it. They already had the platform in place when I got there. From my perspective, it was just operational execution. I was not involved in any of the decision-making that went into selecting it or any of the review process for how they were fairing with it.

Before choosing Pyramid Analytics, I think my clients evaluated other options and they had looked at Tableau prior to the switch. I think they were looking at the Tableau server and in-house databases. I think that was much more difficult to manage than having a single platform.

I believe Pyramid Analytics is a good platform with a lot of features and capabilities. It does not do everything, but most platforms do not do everything. I would give Pyramid Analytics a rating of 8 out of 10.

My advice to others looking into using Pyramid Analytics is to pair it with a good administrator. Whoever you are choosing for an administrator, you want to choose someone that has both the data skills and the people skills in order to maximize what you are going to get out of Pyramid Analytics.

I think Pyramid Analytics is really a good platform with a lot of good things going for it. If someone is considering it, it is definitely not the wrong decision.

Pyramid Analytics serves as the main visualization layer on top of an enterprise data platform to put data and analytics in the hands of users across the business. From a previous role, I implemented Pyramid Analytics where we put a sales dashboard in place for the retail team so they were able to instantly see sales across the entire retail division and drill into detail and slice and dice and split out by product on demand and just get the information they needed whenever they needed it.

Pyramid Analytics's main power is its ability to hold the semantic layer inside so it understands the data such that all the dashboards put in front of people are self-service. Dashboards don't need to be built for specific use cases. Everyone can use general dashboards and explore the data as they see fit, and this is the most powerful feature of it.

The best features of Pyramid Analytics in my experience are the semantic layer, giving it that full understanding of the data that it's sitting on top of and the data exploration capability, specifically the Dice functionality that allows users to take any number and split it out by any dimension attribute in the data. Users respond positively to having that kind of flexibility and they use it all the time. There isn't really much of a learning curve. The best example was the COO at Hays Travel who said that he used it daily when he was looking at the reports by retail division; he could then split things out by product, by customer attributes and just understand why numbers were changing without having to go and ask anybody, and that's really what the power the Dice brings.

It's also easy to use and fast to build dashboards because of the semantic layer being there. It's really easy for the data team to use and to deliver output to customers inside the business, and it's really intuitive for end users to use as well. The main outcome of using Pyramid Analytics has been to give users better access to data faster without them having to come back and ask questions because they can explore the data themselves. They've been able to make better decisions faster. While it's difficult to measure cost exactly, I definitely noted changes in decision-making ability and speed, and this was most prevalent during the COVID pandemic when we had to make a lot of decisions very fast. I believe that if we didn't have Pyramid Analytics as a tool, we wouldn't have been able to make a lot of those decisions and understand what was going on at the pace that things were changing.

One thing that could be added that could be useful is more rich data cataloging, which Pyramid Analytics doesn't really have at the moment. This would enable the data team to better document the data that's in there and add to the user experience because then they would be able to see within the platform the meaning of data as well, by understanding what things were rather than just what their names were.

I've used Pyramid Analytics in total for about eight years.

Pyramid Analytics is stable.

Pyramid Analytics's scalability is very good. I've not seen any signs of it struggling with scale in my experience. From my technical knowledge of deployments, it is more than capable of being deployed on a scalable architecture and really it depends on how much you scale your cloud platform, but I can't see any issues with it whatsoever from both my experience and my knowledge of the technical implementation of it.

The customer support for Pyramid Analytics is excellent. We haven't had to use it a huge amount because the product is quite reliable, but when we have had to, it's been very responsive. When we've needed to deal with more complex problems or even just us trying to use the product in more complex ways, they're more than happy to get their developers on a call directly to assist as well. The overall experience is extremely positive.

We previously used Power BI, but its use was sporadic across the organization a little bit like Excel. It wasn't centralized. We switched because Power BI isn't really capable of dealing with a centralized data model and dealing with data on an enterprise scale. It's much more suited to smaller data sets and data marts. So we had to move away to something more capable. Also, when we looked at scaling Power BI, whilst its per user costs are low, when you start having to pay for compute, it gets very expensive and it was a lot more expensive than Pyramid Analytics.

It was very easy to integrate Pyramid Analytics with our existing data sources and systems. It has a range of connectors that connect to all sorts of different things. We already had a data warehouse, so we connected directly to that. That data warehouse was in Redshift and again, it was very easy. The integration took probably minutes.

It's tricky to quantify a return on investment and we purchased it knowing that as well. The improvements have been more in decision-making ability and general observations. My best anecdote is during the COVID pandemic when it enabled much faster decision-making and for us to make decisions that protected the business from potential failure. The effect it had was really on that scale.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is that they were very competitive in the market. When we went to market and had quotes from multiple different vendors including Power BI and other leading software tools, it was at a comparative level but lower and a bit more cost-effective. The licensing and pricing was transparent. It was easy for us to plan for being based around very clearly around users.

Before choosing Pyramid Analytics, we evaluated a total of ten different vendors in the market. I can't remember all of them, but the top three were Pyramid Analytics, Yellowfin, and MicroStrategy, and we did also look at Power BI alongside that. We scored them across a range of different metrics around capabilities and so on, and Pyramid Analytics came out the clear winner.

I honestly think Pyramid Analytics is one of the most fully featured BI products on the market today. I can't really think of any strong improvements. My experience with them and working closely with them is that the product is constantly improving to the point where features are delivered pretty much straight away as soon as we think of them. There's very little that they could do to improve it further other than continuing to keep pace with the market.

Pyramid Analytics's governance and security capabilities are strong. It doesn't have full MDM capability for governance, but it does have the semantic layer that provides a lot of protection and allows the self-service ability in a governed way. The security is strong as well; I've always used it integrated with Microsoft Entra, so the security just flows through and users can only see what they're allowed to see.

Regarding Pyramid Analytics's accuracy and reliability of output, it's again very strong. I've tested it extensively in the past and it accurately queries data. If it's not able to come up with an answer, it is very clear in a way that you can figure that it can't do it. For example, if you try and split something out by something that doesn't make sense, it will just repeat the number that you split out so that it's very obvious to you that it can't do it. I've never actually seen it give an incorrect answer based on the inputs and the underlying model.

I would describe the learning curve for new users adopting Pyramid Analytics as quite shallow. The system is very intuitive. It's very easy to find your way around. We did require training upon using it, but very little. There's very little implementation effort needed from Pyramid Analytics's side. You can just pick it up and run with it. It is that easy to use.

I would rate Pyramid Analytics's performance and speed, especially with large data sets as excellent, better than some systems I've seen. Pyramid Analytics itself adds very little latency on top of it, so it really depends on your underlying data set and the performance of your data warehouse. As long as that's good, Pyramid Analytics performs excellently.

I would encourage others looking into using Pyramid Analytics to get a demo of it and ask very specific questions about its capabilities and around their own use cases. One thing Pyramid Analytics is very good at doing is showing you in a demo the platform's capabilities. Some other providers may just talk about them and say it can do it, whereas Pyramid Analytics is very good at actually showing you and giving you confidence that it can do what they are saying it can do.

I would just say that in my experience of direct use for a number of years and having gone to market and compared it to other BI platforms, I believe that Pyramid Analytics has been and continues to be the strongest BI platform on the market currently. I would rate Pyramid Analytics a ten out of ten overall.

I have used Pyramid Analytics for the last four years, and I have worked with Pyramid Analytics. My main use case for Pyramid Analytics is especially for the analytics part where I write some of the queries to make some visualizations based on the data which is required to solve things related to frameworks, how to use some of the data visualizations, demographics required for BI, some of the communications of the logics, and obviously the part of supporting data.

I used Pyramid Analytics in one of the projects related to how to use some of the dashboard. I combine some of that dashboard where we require some presentation. With the use of Pyramid Analytics for the decision intelligence platform, I simply go with the data, how to prepare data, the part of data science, the part of business analytics. As a project, I create one dashboard including some slicers, some of the data points, where we use some of the charts, applying some filters.

In some of the finance domain, I use Pyramid Analytics because in finance domains, we have multiple queries. I need to use different data which is coming from different sources, the things which require to create some business modelings, optimizations based on queries, logics, and visualization. So specific domain such as for financial dashboard where we require to make some of the concept such as how to use some of the charts, including 3D scatter, some of the concept of OLAP, how to use this specific chart for the analytics.

The best features Pyramid Analytics offers, especially if we are talking about the features, obviously the part of modeling, the part of data, we can say which is data modeling part. I can simply ingest, clean, or manipulate data very easily. Even if I want to write some code, if I want to create some analytics, such as if I require to make some of the sales profit, it is very easy. The part when I require to combine some features including some presentation, some of the slicers, filters is very easy. Pyramid Analytics is one of the specific advanced visualization tools. For some of the plots I want to draw, some of the charts, or some of the data source which I want to use, maybe from SQL, maybe from OLAP, maybe from other data source.

Out of those features, I find myself using data modeling more often because once I know very well about the data, then I go for the visualization. I think one of the best features which is useful for everyone is this data modeling. I really like this feature because of multiple data coming from different sources, and this one of the tools gave me best way to track data to simply use with very easier way.

Another feature, when I go for some of the analytics, I am also adding some NLP features there. The part of NLP, the part of GenBI, the part where I require to use deep dive, some of the specific features related to some business problems. I think it is also very useful if we are talking about NLP part or GenBI part for some of the projects which are related to very complex data.

Pyramid Analytics has improved my decision-making process, especially if I go for NLP. I simply write the questions, and it will automatically go with some of the data and create a visualization. This has saved time because of NLP, I just write keywords and on behalf of it, it automatically gives all the process and gives me a very fast answer. The part of NLP is really very helpful for the decision making and obviously the part of productivity.

Pyramid Analytics governance and security is very good because the security part is obviously very good because I already have users authenticity with their company mail or specific role, or some of the things. I think this is very good part for the security. No one can share reports until they have access or rights or they only share reports with specific users once they have their email address or their identity. The part of security is very good in Pyramid Analytics.

Regarding Pyramid Analytics AI capabilities, I think the accuracy and reliability of output is also very good features. As I already discussed, the part of GenBI, or the part of insights, smart data modeling. This is the part of AI capabilities including if I go for some conversation, if I go for some of the automated reporting or NLP or data modeling. The AI capabilities are very good with this kind of features, including NLP or GenBI or smart modeling.

Pyramid Analytics can be improved because some part is not used by every company still. I think there is need for some more professional license or free license. Once everyone wants to use, then they will go for some of the more professional or license version. Somebody wants to see, maybe not a very big company, but small company wants to use these things, but there are some restrictions. The part of subscription payments and membership or subscription is the issue. If there is provided some part of free version, where we have some limitations such as per user or space or some of the other aspects, I think then it will be useful for some of the general users.

I choose nine out of ten because of the same part. It is not still approached for every user. Those companies are very good or MNCs or there are very large number of employees when a large number of projects, opposite they already use, but some of the small medium companies still do not use this tools because of subscription or some of the specific subscription part. This is one of the reason.

My additional thoughts about Pyramid Analytics is just integrate with some of the cloud. The major cloud including AWS or Azure and Google, if Pyramid Analytics also integrate with some specific cloud, so it will be helpful for some of the users which are already on cloud. This will give more users to think to want to use this kind of tools which is available on already on particular cloud.

I have been working in my current field for the last ten years.

In my experience, Pyramid Analytics is stable with no crashes or downtime.

The scalability of Pyramid Analytics is very good because when I have a specific demand or specific use, that time I can use it. Otherwise, if I am not required, I can go and simply this scalability is according to my requirement. If sometime I have multiple projects, I can use this tools very well. Sometime I have very low projects, or some of the times I have no projects. During that time I can also save the time. This is good for scalability for handling multiple projects.

The customer support for Pyramid Analytics is generally helpful from the online aspect. When I have some of the checkpoints or some of the enterprise solutions where I simply go for the license options or help center. I think the support ticket, some of the customer portals, I simply go for configuration, help and guide. This will give some of the descriptions according to my queries. I think this is good and I simply using this some of the part where I require some of the help part from the internet or online part help.

Before choosing Pyramid Analytics, I evaluated other options, and sometimes I go for AI integration, so that time I already have Azure. I use Power BI, one of the tools, and sometime I also use Tableau. These two tools I already used before this.

All things are going good, already updated day by day, including NLP or smart modeling or GenBI. I think this is very good for some of the companies who want to improve their decision makings or analytics or some of the business prospective. I think is all good.

I think obviously time is one of the main concern because somebody invests on this kind of tools, they will simply go for the decision making for some of the specific projects. I think time. Money is still not say because maybe depend on the conditions, what kind of data or some of the subscriptions, license, or target audience. But I think time saving is one hundred percent sure because of Pyramid Analytics features, including some of the smart modeling or some of the AI capabilities.

I previously use the part of BI for analytics, use for the dashboard, and same for the NLP part, some of the GenBI part. This is important because if I go with manually or some of the other methods, it will take so much time. But when I use this specific tools such as Pyramid Analytics, it gave me fast decision making and easy way to integrate, easy way to make things more attractive and useful for all kind of things including analytics or modeling or connections.

My experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing is obviously it is part of admin level. As a user, I simply have access to use. The part which including costing or licensing would be handled by higher management. I think some of the conditions where we require to update this licensing part where we will be cut off some of the annual price, some of the specific institution such as for education or EdTech or hospitals, this will be useful. I think this part including pricing models or license or some of the cost depend on the professional or what kind of target audience you have, the part including deployment either somebody go for cloud or on-prem or hybrid. This depend on the condition. As a functional user, I used this part.

My company has a business relationship with this vendor only as a partner. We have multiple clients. I simply have multiple tools on behalf of projects. Some of the projects in house in India, some of the projects are from different part of region or country side. Depending on the things, we are simply partner with this kind of tools and specific projects, we go for specific tools to make better results.

My advice for others looking into using Pyramid Analytics is that it will be good for the analytics part. Some of the advice such as some who want to use this kind of tools will go and see how it works on different domains with some of the capabilities including AI or GenBI or some of the analytics part. I think those who still do not use this analytics should simply go with the Pyramid Analytics website and see the some of the features and how these features will be helpful for their existing projects to make things more easier. I have rated this product nine out of ten.

I use Pyramid Analytics for retail dashboards and work in the agriculture domain. These are the main use cases.

In the retail space, there are numerous sales dashboards. Based on requirements, dashboards are created to ensure that data is properly managed and shared with clients. Clients have basic requests to create tabular reports and then convert those reports into dashboards to share with their clients. Pyramid Analytics enables auto mailers functionality. There are two functionalities called subscription and publication. Once a dashboard is created, a subscription can be set so that clients receive data directly in their email inbox. Publication allows the ability to burst data based on regions or categories for particular email IDs using Pyramid Analytics. Data is delivered according to the user's or client's request.

I serve as the admin for Pyramid Analytics. There are different modules available. Similar to Power BI, the modeling part must be completed. However, unlike Power BI where visuals can simply be dragged and dropped with data added, Pyramid Analytics has a different module called Discover. Each visual must be created as a Discover, and formulas like measures must be created, similar to DAX queries. The formulas are created and then brought to Discover. Once all Discovers are created, they are added to a presentation or publication based on the request. If it is a subscription, schedules must be set. If it is a publication, auto mailers must be set for the particular client team and shared with them. This is how Pyramid Analytics is used.

Pyramid Analytics offers AI-implemented dashboards, chatbots, and NLQ capabilities. There are many features including download capabilities. Multiple options are available for downloading data in formats like Pyramid, Excel, CSV, and JSON files. Data can also be embedded using HTML. APIs can bring data to embedded fields and it will function similarly. Full embed functionality is available, which provides complete embed and full help for the dashboard, allowing people to use it easily. Three different types of licenses are available: a pro license for developers, a viewer license for people who do not want to develop (the development team creates dashboards and reports for them with less functionality but all features available), and auto mailer licenses that must be purchased from Pyramid Analytics.

Regarding the agriculture data related to RFMs, role-level security has been assigned for the dashboards. Based on NLQs, while the dashboard is open, chatbots can be used to ask questions and receive results based on available data. LLMs have been implemented, such as Google Gemini and OpenAI, with tokens added. Based on requirements and requests, people can change the visuals easily using Pyramid Analytics. This feature helps the team create, understand compliance, and take actions based on that understanding. This capability helps make better business decisions and allows the business to grow.

Management has decided to move away from Power BI and other BI tools, and this decision has been received positively because data is on-premises and data security is one of the most important considerations. This has been handled well. The transition period from Power BI to Pyramid Analytics was easy and helped the team understand the tool, with a favorable training curve. The team was able to transition smoothly to Pyramid Analytics, which helped them settle into using the tool.

Sales have improved as a result. For one client related to a sales dashboard, implementation of Pyramid Analytics has led to improved sales. Because of this improvement, they acquired many new clients and the project expanded. In the agriculture domain, many projects have been added because agriculture activities are now consolidated in one place where insights can be gained and decisions made. This has improved their operations and made it easier to compile compliance information and share it with the team to understand where issues were occurring, which has led to better results.

There are many factors to consider. Some things that are easily accomplished in Power BI are more complicated in Pyramid Analytics. One significant problem is feedback implementation. When feedback is shared that needs to be implemented, it is never implemented in the current version and is always implemented in a new version, requiring a longer wait time for requested features. Faster implementation of requested features would be beneficial to acquire more clients and help save time.

One area that could be improved is log identification within the tool itself, which is not available in other BI tools either. This relates to publication and subscription functionality. Currently, it is necessary to go back to SQL to identify tables and retrieve data. If this capability could be integrated into Pyramid Analytics, it would be very helpful. Otherwise, everything functions well.

I have been using Pyramid Analytics for about four to five years.

The minimum requirement is 16 GB core. If this is maintained for all engines, scaling is straightforward. As data grows and volume increases, scaling up is easily accomplished whenever needed, based on requirements. Requirements must be reviewed and changes can be made accordingly.

Customer support is sometimes slow to respond, but the team is genuinely helpful and quick support is usually provided. In some scenarios, late support has been experienced, but most of the time support has been excellent and very responsive. All support tickets that were raised are closed on time based on their ETA and delivered. Overall, it has been a good experience.

Power BI and Cognos were previously used. Cognos was the older BI tool, and Power BI was used after that. Cost was a factor because Pyramid Analytics charges less than Power BI, which was important since there were hundreds of users. Data security, accuracy, and reliability that can be maintained with Pyramid Analytics were also key considerations. Management decided to change from Power BI to Pyramid Analytics, and this decision has been very beneficial.

A separate team manages Pyramid Analytics. While the AI capabilities cannot be left unattended, Pyramid Analytics provides correct governance and security for the data across multiple projects. Accountability must be maintained because AI can make mistakes, though Pyramid Analytics itself does not. Data interpretation requires proper training and correct questions must be asked to obtain accurate results. In the beginning, Pyramid Analytics performs well, but careful monitoring of how processing occurs is necessary. Governance and security must be implemented properly; otherwise, incorrect results can be displayed in the data and wrong business decisions can be made, which could negatively impact the business later.

Regarding ROI, I am not entirely certain, but I believe it is approximately one hundred percent based on my experience, because everything depends on the modeling part. If the modeling uses normalized data and if the fact and dimension relationships and joins are made correctly, reports and dashboards function absolutely correctly with top-notch accuracy, and the output is reliable. Everything depends on how data is cleaned and transformed and how it is brought from the data warehouse to the reporting area. Everything should be maintained properly. Regarding my experience, with Pyramid Analytics' AI capabilities, the accuracy and reliability of the output are absolutely correct. However, a check must be kept and accountability is very important before confirming that everything is correct.

Through interactions with clients, I am aware that fewer employees are needed because of automation and time is saved. However, I am not specifically aware of ROI metrics. In the agriculture domain and the sales domain, clients have been achieving their targets and exceeding them. Pyramid Analytics has been very helpful in these areas.

Qlik, QlikView dashboards, and Tableau were considered as alternatives. However, these tools did not sufficiently meet the requirements. Tableau and Qlik are good tools, but comparatively, Pyramid Analytics provided an advantage. Pyramid Analytics has all the AI capabilities and can connect to different data sources with faster processing. It has separate IMDB servers and for each component, it has task engines, runtime engines, CPUs, HDDs, and other infrastructure. These were the main reasons for choosing Pyramid Analytics over other options. One of the major factors was the publication and auto mailers feature, which is very useful for setting auto mailers to different clients and bursting data. This functionality is easily accomplished with Pyramid Analytics, which was another reason for selecting the tool.

Pyramid Analytics is a superb and good tool to use that is comparatively fast-paced and will suffice all requirements in the near future. The tool is very easy to use with a low learning curve. I would recommend Pyramid Analytics to everyone. Pyramid Analytics is the best tool in the market comparatively and has consistently ranked number one in Gartner reviews. It is challenging other tools and coming up as a strong contender. Pyramid Analytics is a good tool to use now. I would rate this product an eight out of ten.

One of the main use cases that we have with Pyramid Analytics is pure data analytics that we do, so we feed it raw data and ask it to give us smart decisions and smart insights to help us grow our business. That is the basic thing that we do: feed it data and ask for suggestions and insights through it.

With Pyramid Analytics, we have five or six different steps that we do. We prepare the data and we build models based on the data, and once our model is built, we define some logic to it, and based on the logic, we ask the analytic software to generate actionable insights for us and actionable line items and insights for us, which we use to design our presentations and applications and build and publish reports also if necessary.

One of the best things about Pyramid Analytics is that there is a requirement of zero to no code for us to design models or formulate different logics; we don't need to have any code. There's this GenBI capability that Pyramid Analytics has, which allows any business user to turn into data pros, to explore data without writing a single line of code. Also, there is this simple drag and dropping attributes to create models, which I appreciate very much.

Definitely, it has made things faster; everyone in our team, regardless of their technical skill level, can now interact with data, ask questions and make smarter decisions. Also, there are some powerful features with Pyramid Analytics such as the Explain and the Explain the Difference features, which can easily break down data and understand the results in just a few clicks for us. It has definitely improved our overall efficiency as well.

One area of improvement would be on the customer success or customer support; they are not very prompt. It takes some time for them to respond to our queries. Maybe that can be improved.

Customer support can improve a little because there is some delay in them responding to us; that can be improved, but apart from that, they are very knowledgeable and very good.

I have been using Pyramid Analytics for about a year now.

There are no issues with Pyramid Analytics in terms of speed or performance, even when we work with large data sets; being a cloud solution, it is a pretty smooth software.

Being a cloud solution, it is very much stable; we get a lot of updates regularly, which is nice, so I would say it's a completely stable solution.

It is very easy to scale in this solution because we started out with about fifteen users, and right now we are at thirty users. So it is very easy to scale with this software.

These features are very helpful and very good; the zero to minimal coding that is required is a very big advantage for us, for an organization with people with less technical skills can also use this to turn their data into actionable insights and make real life decisions with it.

We did not use any previous solutions; everything was an in-house solution only.

Definitely, we have seen a return on investment in the number of hours that we have invested in data analysis; with Pyramid Analytics, data analysis that took about half a day just takes half an hour right now. So that is the amount of time that we're able to save, and in terms of overall revenue, we have seen a 100% increase in our overall revenue with the help of Pyramid Analytics.

I was not part of the purchasing team; I don't think we have evaluated anything else.

The user interface of Pyramid Analytics is very easy to understand and very intuitive, so my team and I felt it very easy to get onboarded on the platform and we took to it immediately. It was very easy for us to understand the solution and get used to it.

I would definitely urge others to use Pyramid Analytics more because of the capabilities that it provides; it's an adaptive analytic platform that provides different capabilities, and also it can be installed on most platforms such as on-premise as well as on the cloud. It is agnostic analytics that it provides, whether it's an OS-based feature or an iOS-based feature, it doesn't matter. It is very simple but effective data visualization, and that is something that is very much useful with this solution.

Everything is very smooth with this software; the insights and the analysis that we're able to do is of the highest quality; I hope it continues that way. I would rate this product a perfect score of ten out of ten.

Our main use case for Pyramid Analytics is that we prepare and build data models using it, formulating and defining logics for the built models and built data while interacting with the models to make analytical presentations and informed decisions based on the data.

Most of our data is ads data from running ads on different platforms and gathering substantial data from those ads, which allows us to build and train models using the ads data to make better ad decisions going forward with our budget and money, determining how much to invest, where, and which campaigns are working better.

We get the ad data, prepare models, and use Pyramid Analytics to make informed decisions, and we also find that the building and illustrating presentations are very effective, enabling us to build a case for ourselves to present to upper management.

Pyramid Analytics works directly on top of our existing data and infrastructure, eliminating the need for any complex migration or duplication, which saves us considerable time, as migrating from one platform to another typically requires significant resources.

Working directly on our data and infrastructure with Pyramid Analytics gives us a sense of familiarity, as there is no need for us to change things that would require relearning, saving time and costs, while Pyramid Analytics simply overlays on our existing infrastructure, allowing everything to remain the same.

The GenBI AI feature of Pyramid Analytics makes our work easier because it helps us interact with data without writing a single line of code, which is essential for us, enabling anyone with less technical knowledge to manage it.

Pyramid Analytics allows us to make much more informed decisions right now, cutting down on wastages and saving considerable costs with the insights it provides, leading to a five percent improvement in our conversion and approximately thirty-five percent improvement in our overall revenue.

In terms of improvements for Pyramid Analytics, the customer support is not very prompt, but I find nothing wrong with its features; it is an agnostic analytic platform that works on any device and OS.

The customer support of Pyramid Analytics needs improvement as it takes time for them to respond to queries, but aside from that, I do not have any other issues.

Pyramid Analytics does not need any other improvements; everything is excellent, but there could be more options for UI presentation in data visualizations.

The best features Pyramid Analytics offers from my experience are the analytics capabilities, but it is somewhat complicated. That is why I did not use it for a long time because it needed someone with more technical expertise. However, the agents were really helpful, but it was not very user-friendly for me.

What I appreciated about the analytics features is that whenever we were stuck, we could call the support team, and they would assist us.

Pyramid Analytics has positively impacted my organization by allowing us to analyze sales data and identify opportunities regarding how to use the budget and where to allocate it to get more sales.

Regarding those opportunities, Pyramid Analytics is a tool similar to other tools such as Power BI, Datorama, or other Salesforce products. I work in an advertising agency, so we were able to check how to allocate budget to which platforms, for example, more on Facebook and less on Instagram, and more on TikTok, as many companies were keen to experiment with that at the time.

Pyramid Analytics could be improved to be more user-friendly. I thought the most difficult reporting tool was Tableau, but I found Pyramid Analytics to be somewhat more complex.

The needed improvements are the platform in general. If they can make it more user-friendly, similar to other platforms such as Power BI, where anyone can use it, that would help. It is highly technical, so if they can make it useful for the layperson, it could work.

Other improvements Pyramid Analytics needs are to make the platform more user-friendly for the layman because when presenting something this complicated to companies, if they cannot use it to its full capacity, it is a possible loss.

I have been using Pyramid Analytics for about six months.

I do not remember any outages. Perhaps there were, but I honestly do not remember there being an outage.

Pyramid Analytics's scalability was definitely good. We were able to handle larger data sets, meaning we could analyze old data to see how certain campaigns or products performed over the past one, two, three, five, and even ten years.

My experience with customer support for Pyramid Analytics was great, and their online platform community where people can ask questions was generally very responsive.

I do not know which cloud provider we used for Pyramid Analytics because IT was helping us to set it up, so I did not ask.

I mostly use Pyramid Analytics for building reports and dashboards for workforce data analysis.

One dashboard that I can think of is the retention tracker in Pyramid Analytics, where we were trying to see who is our biggest competitor in terms of poaching our employees. I created this so that we can track who is leaving to our competitors, how much they are offering, and what different measures we can implement to retain our human capital and our most performing employees.

With the one dashboard that I created in Pyramid Analytics, I was looking at headcounts by division. I am able to click on the specific division, and it breaks down further into departments. When I click again, it shows the individual job grades or the individual employee. I feel that this is very important.

In my opinion, the best features Pyramid Analytics offers are its intuitive design, especially for visualizing large datasets, and the drill-down functionality is very useful.

Pyramid Analytics has impacted the organization very positively. We are able to make decisions much more quickly, and we are able to spot risks and mitigate those risks in time.

I think one thing is that Pyramid Analytics can sometimes have a slow loading speed, especially with large data pools, and the interface could be much more modern.

Another thing I would like to see improved is that when creating dashboards, it does not automatically refresh the data. You have to manually go and refresh it yourself. Overall, I am happy.

I have been using Pyramid Analytics for about a year and a half.

Pyramid Analytics handles large datasets very well. We use it across a workforce of over 40,000 employees and it manages the volume adequately. It also scales well for enterprise-level reporting, though performance can slow slightly with very large data pools.

I chose eight out of ten for Pyramid Analytics because it is very easy to use. It is very accessible, unlike some business intelligence tools. However, Power BI has more flexibility overall, and I would recommend it. The minor issues that need to be improved keep it from being a perfect score, but overall, it is a very good application.

I would advise others looking into using Pyramid Analytics to invest time upfront in learning the platform properly. There is a bit of a learning curve initially, but once you understand the functionality, it becomes a very powerful tool. Also, make sure that your data is clean and well-structured before building reports, as the quality of your output really depends on the quality of your dataset, which is your input. For large organizations, it works well for workforce analytics and reporting. I would really recommend it for that use. I gave Pyramid Analytics a rating of eight out of ten.

We use Pyramid Analytics for our contact center reports. I just created reports using Pyramid Analytics, and I didn't proceed like I do with Power BI of Microsoft. So I don't think my opinion will be that valuable because I don't work much with Pyramid Analytics, only when they needed anything to add, so that's what I do with current reports.

I just build the data model in Pyramid Analytics based on our contact center database, which is MySQL. I'm somehow satisfied with Pyramid Analytics. We just replaced our old reports. We had our own report tools, and because the technology moved on, we can't offer it anymore, especially on our cloud product. That's why we chose Pyramid Analytics, and we do just well in supporting our customers with a reporting tool based on Pyramid Analytics.

Our contact center has its own monitoring with its own report, web-based web monitoring. We just use historical reports from Pyramid Analytics. We include Pyramid Analytics as a part of our solution that we sell to our customers.

The integration process in Pyramid Analytics is acceptable, but it's still the same visual interface. It doesn't make my life easier when I build a data model. I wish it would be more friendly to a developer, not only just to an end customer.

There are enough connectors in Pyramid Analytics, so it's not an issue. It's just a bit time-consuming.

When creating a data model in Pyramid Analytics, it's a bit complicated compared to other tools, especially to Microsoft BI. It's a bit time-consuming in Pyramid Analytics just to bring all those boxes and fill them out. Visually, when you want to see the whole model and the connections between tables, the view is not friendly. The whole process takes time with Pyramid Analytics. First, you build the visual, and then you have to add this visual to a presentation. Then if you want some notifications, you need to create another report.

I wish the visuals in Pyramid Analytics would be more attractive. The visuals themselves, the graphs and charts and bars, could be improved. The UI and PQX, or however its language is called, is a bit very specific. It's just a logic you need to learn. It's not as intuitive as in Microsoft, for example.

In my development with Pyramid Analytics, I have my development system where I create all the reports and models. I can't say there was downtime or something.

The whole process takes time with Pyramid Analytics. First, you build the visual, and then you have to add this visual to a presentation. Then if you want some notifications, you need to create another report. It's the whole model with all those modules inside, and as I already said, it takes time.

The support for Pyramid Analytics is good. They always answer quite promptly. From this point of view, it's absolutely acceptable.

We have a local dealer, I believe the company in Israel. It wasn't my choice regarding Pyramid Analytics. We just got it in inheritance from the product management back in 2019. We use it very rarely. It's a very narrow application just for reports for contact center reports.

Because we selected Pyramid Analytics for our product and we are not going to throw out all the work I previously did, we just go with Pyramid Analytics for the product. It's a part of a solution, like OEM inside our portfolio.

It's not more expensive than all our other BI tools regarding Pyramid Analytics. It's more or less reasonable.

I haven't heard something negative from our customers regarding Pyramid Analytics. 

My main use case for Pyramid Analytics is reporting. An example would be if I am looking into data for our workforce for the Department of Veteran's Affairs; we have cubes for HR employee information and I gather information from those cubes to present to stakeholders.

Pyramid Analytics offers several best features, including the ability to create dashboards, custom members, and ease of use.

It is great that Pyramid Analytics provides the ability to create visualizations and share those within the platform. Custom members allow me to save different calculations for multiple use cases and easy access to those stored calculations.

Pyramid Analytics is the core for reporting from a non-technical or slightly technical perspective, and it makes reporting simple.

I think Pyramid Analytics can be improved by easing access for multiple users to one workspace.

I have been using Pyramid Analytics for around eight years.

I am not on the security side, but our federal workforce data, which is very important to be secure, is stored on Pyramid Analytics. I would assume that those in charge have reviewed the secure capabilities and are happy with it.

We are one of the largest employers in the United States and the data set is massive. Pyramid Analytics scales well for our needs.
