The corporate leverage is better with Blue Prism. Blue Prism just presents better in a large corporation. It's easier to sell suits and ties than it is sneakers and jeans in financial institutions. That's not really about the application per se; it's the perception.

I've considered other options because of how Blue Prism's product and its acquisition by ACM have shaped its direction. Blue Prism seems to be moving into a more confined space and may not be as open as UiPath.

In UiPath, the ecosystem just feels a lot broader, and there's a lot more innovation and commercial models.

With Blue Prism, everyone wants to charge for everything, whereas in UiPath, you know, the community guard. There's a lot of really good stuff and useful stuff coming out of the community guard that are solving problems because they need to be solved, not necessarily because there's a business model or a commercial model sitting behind it.

Blue Prism is definitely more about the seats and tires, whereas UiPath is for the sneakers and jeans guys.

If Blue Prism could integrate into Azure SQL because it's essentially an on-prem code, on infrastructure as a service. So, Blue Prism has moved the infrastructure into the cloud, but they haven't necessarily moved the application into cloud-native.

So, for now, integration with Azure SQL is one of the critical points for me.

Another area of improvement is pricing. The fundamental problem is that Blue Prism is essentially an on-prem solution that's been moved to the cloud by leveraging infrastructure as a service. Because Blue Prism has to license virtual machines and everything and deploy on virtual machines, which means within their cost structures, you get a little bit of benefits using virtual machines in the cloud, but you don't get the same cost benefit as if you make your software cloud-native. For example, the SQL server and its solutions are essentially using SQL instances, server instances, in the cloud. So, you essentially have to pay for the licensing of an SQL server. This is the licensing that would be associated with it. Therefore, the input costs change.

I have been using Blue Prism Cloud since 2017. We were early adopters of the cloud version. The cloud version is automatically updated, so we use the latest version.

I would rate the stability an eight out of ten. The service is always available, no server issues.

We currently have four customers using this solution. However, a lot of customers are considering to switch to the cloud version. 

It is a scalable solution. 

There are about seven people on average who work on maintenance.

If you're in a first-world country, The pricing works. But if you're in an emerging economy, then the pricing is still an issue.

I would rate the pricing model a seven out of ten, where one is expensive and ten is affordable. 

If it aligns with your requirements, I would recommend using Blue Prism. So, if you need the perception of a more suit-and-tie cooperative kind of thing, then I would recommend using Blue Prism. 

Or, if you already have advanced skills and are using ABB Ability Document Capture for your other document intake and intelligent document needs, then Blue Prism Cloud would also be a good option.

However, if you are new to RPA and don't need a high-end product, then I would recommend another product, such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere. These products are less expensive and have a larger user community, which can be helpful for getting help and support.

Overall, I would rate the solution an eight out of ten. 

We use Blue Prism Cloud for building new infrastructure in the cloud for our complete robotics automation tech.

Blue Prism Cloud improved my company because it handles the infra, and it's easy to use, which means you don't need to depend on any other team or party because end-to-end architecture is within your control.

The solution also makes cloud migration easier for any existing or new project you're planning.

What I like best about Blue Prism Cloud is that it's secure, robust, and has 24 x 7 support available. 

I also find the solution quick and intelligent, and you can easily activate things on it. The execution of processes and automation is good in Blue Prism Cloud.

I love that even a non-coder can easily use the solution.

Pricing for Blue Prism Cloud is a pain as it's a little higher, but if you compare this tool with other tools, it's the perfect fit for any organization.

We just started using Blue Prism Cloud one month ago.

In any automation tool, Blue Prism Cloud included, you need at least one to three months to stabilize the process. You need at least one month of run time on the production environment when you develop a new process, even in Automation Anywhere, UiPath, or NICE. You need to tweak the process according to your needs. After that, no significant changes will be required, except for occasional minor changes, so I'd need a few more months before I could give my opinion or rating about the stability of Blue Prism Cloud.

Scalability-wise, Blue Prism Cloud is eight out of ten.

Support for Blue Prism Cloud is excellent. It's better than the support you get for the standard Blue Prism platform.

Cloud support is swift to respond, but I have complete end-to-end knowledge of the standard Blue Prism application. I'm a certified technical architect for Blue Prism, so from a technical point of view, if any significant issues arise from Blue Prism, I'm the only one on the team who can handle the problems. Still, if the issue is about a concurrent session that doesn't run or a licensing issue, my team needs to reach out to Blue Prism support.

In 2020, I stopped using PegaRULES as I moved into a different project and started using Blue Prism completely. Regarding why I switched to Blue Prism Cloud, it's a new technology, and it's a requirement of my company, mainly because most people work from home nowadays because of the pandemic. My company needed to remove unnecessary workloads and repeated tasks, so it required an automation technology, and in this case, it's Blue Prism Cloud.

The initial setup for Blue Prism Cloud is easy if you have a technical background. It's a ten out of ten, setup-wise, but if you come from a non-technical background, the setup is a seven out of ten.

How long Blue Prism Cloud deployment takes depends on different phases. The first POC machine will be set up for normal development and testing. Once that's done, the timeline is around one to two months for POC testing. Once the POC is done, the technical phase starts, where you set up the complete infrastructure as required in the project, which takes less than a month. Lastly, you need to deploy and run on robotics all processes and requirements for development, and that takes another three months to complete, depending on your automation process.

My company does end-to-end services, so it has testing and deployment teams, and my team manages everything. The deployment of Blue Prism Cloud is done in-house. My company procures licenses from third parties, and my team runs processes and does the automation and setups.

My company is still on Blue Prism Cloud POC, and once the POC is successful and the solution is deployed, it's only after one year or so that I can see ROI from Blue Prism Cloud.

I'd rate the pricing for Blue Prism Cloud as two out of ten because it's higher than every other technology. It's costly, but you'll find most features available on Blue Prism Cloud; for example, you don't need to pay additional costs to access many features.

My company is on a three-year Blue Prism Cloud license.

We evaluated Automation Anywhere, NICE, and UiPath. We even worked with Power Automate, but we went with Blue Prism Cloud because it fits our needs and is pretty secure. We have many finance-related transactions, so we need security, and when choosing solutions, we first need to check how secure the solution is, including its data processing. Despite its cost, we chose Blue Prism Cloud because it has unbeatable security, even an OCR feature, and everything's crystal clear on Blue Prism Cloud.

I'm using only Blue Prism Cloud, a complete automation technology.

The solution is deployed on the cloud, as I proposed. An on-premises deployment always has the risk of ransomware and other types of attacks versus the cloud deployment, which is pretty secure with its different security layers, including the backups.

The maintenance of Blue Prism Cloud depends on the business. For example, some companies run twelve hours daily, while some run twenty-four hours a day. For a 24 x 7 business, three people plus one backup handles the maintenance. If anyone falls sick or leaves, my company needs to ensure that the three shifts are covered, plus there's on-call support for particular issues; if any problem arises during non-working hours, the on-call support will take care of it. During weekends, there's a maintenance window, and two people on rotation perform the maintenance activity.

My company has almost seventy Blue Prism Cloud licenses. One license, for example, has three to four resources. Currently, my company has one hundred fifty resources on Blue Prism Cloud.

In the future, no additional support is required, and the solution can be managed with the same team size, so there isn't any plan to increase Blue Prism Cloud usage.

The advice I'd give a person looking into using Blue Prism Cloud is that it depends on your requirement because it's not always necessary to use a cloud solution every time. It depends on what area you're focused on and what technical work you want to perform. If you're working on security, then I suggest cloud technology. If you need automation, then Blue Prism Cloud is the best. If you want to move regular servers or applications, you can use Azure and AWS instead of Google because I worked on all three cloud technologies. I prefer AWS, then Azure, then Google. Google isn't capable enough to perform all tasks efficiently and requires much technical knowledge. If you're a non-technical person, you'll need more time to learn Google technology versus AWS and Azure, which you can use even with less technical knowledge.

My rating for Blue Prism Cloud is eight out of ten.

My company is a Blue Prism customer.

The solution is extensively used for reporting purposes in our company.

Everybody in the organization can utilize Blue Prism Cloud. For the process of automation of any solution, I can share it easily or run it on the cloud. I can deploy it in the bot machine easily while also having to see the status of the product's automation process. With the bot, I can easily manage or monitor from that cloud. If I have to stop something from the cloud or if I have to stop, run, rerun it, or give any updates, I can do it easily from the cloud from anywhere.

The AI part is currently missing in Blue Prism Studio. AI is available in the cloud system. It would be good if the AI part is included in Blue Prism Studio, which can make it much more efficient and good to work.

I have been using Blue Prism Cloud for eleven years.

It is a stable solution. I rate the stability a nine out of ten.

It is a scalable product.

There are approximately 60 to 70 developers using the solution.

The technical support team of Blue Prism Cloud is very good. Sometimes they even let us report issues with our machines and work on fixing the issues.

The licensing of the solution is on a subscription-based model and costs around 4,999 for one bot's license. If someone wants to increase the number of bots you want from Blue Prism, then they provide a discount.

The solution had an additional cost wherein initially, if someone wanted to buy a package for one or two years and wanted to use the support too, then they charged for the support provided.

We generally look for the process, and whichever tool is required for that process and has a good capability, we utilize that. If I utilize a lesser costing license and it breaks down during the production stage, or if the client is not happy with our work, then there is no way to save money.

The main concern is the outcome we see from the use of the solution. If the solution has whatever we are looking for or if the product fulfills the client's expectations, then it makes sense, making cost secondary for us.

We evaluated UiPath Cloud and Google Cloud Platform. We chose Blue Prism Cloud because it is compatible with our production machine from Blue Prism, and they gave us a discount as we are their existing customer.

The team that takes care of Automation Anywhere is also involved in the maintenance of Blue Prism.

I advise people to use the solution as it is a good product. They should negotiate as negotiation is available on the pricing part of the solution.

We have implemented various security solutions from vendors to ensure the safety of our clients and Blue Prism Cloud is one of them. Specifically, for container-related security, our enterprise security solution encompasses email security, domain security, and other manual security measures. This security framework is one of the options we offer for our instances. For instance, when using Azure as our cloud platform, we rely on Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel. However, we understand that some clients may have their own instances or prefer a hybrid environment, combining cloud and on-premises solutions. In such cases, we can provide a customized security solution tailored to their specific needs.

We use many cloud providers, such as Microsoft Azure, GCP, Amazon AWS, and IBM.

The primary focus lies in integrating the three major cloud platforms with Blue Prism Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and GCP. This integration goes beyond security measures for the primary template policies. It also includes addressing compliance requirements. For instance, I can incorporate specific compliance templates and policies generated in Blue Prism and integrate them with local templates for ISO 27001 and GDPR, particularly concerning software tools and headsets. This integration eliminates the need for auditing and reviewing technical details individually. Instead, I can simply examine the container report. This approach proves beneficial when clients heavily rely on container environments.

We have limited integrations in place, and my objective is to integrate Sentinel. However, there are constraints as some individuals have only one or two options for SIM integration solutions. Given the urgency of quick resolutions in today's landscape, prevention and detection are crucial. While these measures provide significant security, it's equally important to focus on response and recovery. In the case of a ransomware attack, it's not enough to solely prevent and detect. Once detection is in place, a response model should be implemented to automate the process and minimize the time required for tasks, such as creating investigation reports. In the past, it would take approximately seven to eight days to create an investigation report for a specific attack, including writing a case study. This process can be streamlined and improved through the automation of contextual investigation reports. By saving base templates and content, including screenshots and attack details, automation can be achieved. We are currently working on integrating Microsoft WAF and Excel for this purpose, but having a built-in tool would be ideal.

Within my security product arsenal, I utilize various solutions like Genmap, QRadar, Alien, and others. The solution architecture is designed to accommodate different roles such as individual specialists and engineers. When logging on, one can access around fifteen to twenty different security components. These components cover a wide range of security areas, including ContainerVM security, on-premises security, email security, domain security, internal security, external security, conference-related security, as well as enterprise business and privacy tools.

Our primary suggestion is to leverage the out-of-the-box features when utilizing cloud solutions. If your company is using G Suite, for example, we recommend assessing the current situation and then applying the available out-of-the-box features within the G Suite Security Center. Additionally, we suggest considering the inclusion of quarantine, SPS, and other relevant measures. When dealing with phishing campaigns, we typically employ manual templates and methods tailored to each specific case. However, concerning email-related security solutions, we rely on G Suite's Netium Security.

The initial setup of Blue Prism Cloud is incredibly seamless and smooth. It operates flawlessly. However, when it comes to Kubernetes and containers, our involvement is somewhat limited. We mainly deal with microservices applications that our clients are actively working on. We offer two deployment options for this new product, and we can efficiently deploy the solution within two to three days. The support team is also highly competent and skilled, providing excellent assistance and guidance. Nowadays, deployment models across various solutions tend to be quite similar. However, there are subtle differences in terms of packaging and deployment methods, which may vary among different vendors.

Extending the time frame slightly, typically takes approximately two to three days. During this period, we thoroughly examine fail logs and address any issues encountered. Eventually, we successfully gain access to the system and can proceed with our tasks.

The default configuration does not include large-scale log injection, but if you require, such integration, it may incur additional costs per gigabyte. I don't have the exact pricing information for log injection, but it is possible that it varies depending on the volume of data. While there may be a basic service included, additional features might come at an extra cost. When working with cloud environments like VMs, calculating costs involves considering factors such as usage duration, network traffic, inbound and outbound data transfer, as well as network access control. The pricing structure for cloud coverage solutions follows a similar pattern, although specific pricing details would need to be obtained separately.

Blue Prism Cloud's pricing needs to be improved because it is a little bit more costly than other automation tools like UIPath.

It would be helpful if all the features in Blue Prism's current desktop version were included in the cloud so that users could use the cloud to access all those features.

I have been using Blue Prism Cloud for the last five years.

Blue Prism Cloud's stability is good, and we get around 95% accuracy with the solution. However, when we use some browser automation, it shows some extension issues, which should be fixed in the newer version.

Currently, I'm new to Blue Prism Decipher IDP. So I need some demo or process templates from Decipher IDP. Getting a template that tells me how to integrate Blue Prism Decipher IDP with our current process would be very helpful.

We are doing one POC in our company, and they provided me with one virtual machine. In that virtual machine, Decipher IDP was installed through the Decipher IDP server. I opened Decipher IDP through the web browser and am using it in Blue Prism Cloud.

I would recommend Blue Prism Cloud to other users.
